    Nemotron 3.5 Super VL brought Incineroar,gholdengo,kingambit6,338 tok · 15.9 s

Lead Incineroar for Intimidate + Fake Out/support; Gholdengo is a special win condition with Recover; Kingambit is late-game cleaner after teammates fall. Avoid leading slow Torkoal/Azumarill into faster threats.

    Reasoning trace (2,326 words)
We need answer exactly format. Need choose 3 Pokemon from team, leader first. Need analyze metagame. We have team: incineroar, gholdengo, kingambit, dragapult, torkoal, azumarill. Opponent possible: garchomp, corviknight, toxapex, gholdengo, dragapult, quaquaval. Format gen9championsrotomarenabssregmb: singles one Pokemon field per side, each brought 3 of 6, level 50, Mega Evolution instead of Terastallization. But team preview shows no mega stones? Moves include? Incineroar can mega? Incineroar doesn't have mega. Gholdengo no mega. Kingambit no mega. Dragapult no mega. Torkoal has Mega Torkoal? Actually Mega Torkoal exists? In Pokémon, Mega Torkoal is not official? Wait Pokémon Champions maybe custom? Format name gen9championsrotomarenabssregmb. "Mega Evolution instead of Terastallization" but listed Pokémon maybe can mega if holding mega stone. Items shown: leftovers, sitrusberry, lifeorb, choicescarf, heatrock, focussash. No mega stones. Opponent possible abilities include standard. Maybe no mega relevant? Need choose team.

Need think strategically. We need bring 3. Singles 1v1 with backups. Lead first. We need cover opponent threats. Our team has strong options.

Opponent team possible six, they bring three unknown. We need select three that can handle likely leads and have synergy. Since opponent team shown but not which three. We need anticipate. Threats: Garchomp (fast ground/dragon, rough skin/sand veil), Corviknight (steel/flying bulky, pressure/unnerve/mirror armor), Toxapex (toxic/spikes/regen, bulky), opposing Gholdengo (good as gold blocks status, special attacker), Dragapult (very fast, infiltrator, cursed body), Quaquaval (water/fighting, maybe physical/special, moxie/torrent). Our candidates:
    - Incineroar: Intimidate, Fake Out, Parting Shot, Flare Blitz, Snarl. Good support, checks physical attackers (Garchomp, Quaquaval, Kingambit mirror?), can pivot. Fire/Dark resists? Weak to ground, water, rock, fighting. In singles, Intimidate useful. Fake Out can break focus sash (Azumarill has focus sash but we might not bring). Parting Shot lowers attack/spa and pivots. Flare Blitz strong but recoil. Snarl spread? singles just special. Could lead to intimidate and fake out.
    - Gholdengo: Good As Gold immune to status and powder? Blocks status moves, status? It is immune to status moves (including toxic, thunder wave, spore?) and maybe not damaged by? Good. Sitrus Berry. Special attacker with Shadow Ball, Make It Rain (drops SpA), Thunderbolt, Recover. Good vs Corviknight? Shadow Ball neutral? Corviknight resists? Flying/Steel: Ghost neutral, Steel resisted? Make It Rain resisted by steel? Corviknight resists Steel? Steel resists Steel, Flying neutral? Actually Steel type resists Steel, Flying neutral to Steel? Ghost neutral to Flying/Steel? Gholdengo can handle Toxapex? Shadow Ball neutral? Toxapex resists? Poison resists? Ghost is neutral to Poison? Poison resists Poison, Bug, Grass, Fairy; takes neutral from Ghost. Gholdengo can be checked by opposing Gholdengo (good as gold vs shadow ball? both immune to status; shadow ball neutral? Steel/Ghost resists Ghost? Ghost resists Poison/Bug, is immune to Normal/Fighting, weak to Ghost/Dark. Steel/Ghost: Ghost weakness? Steel resists Ghost? Let's compute: Steel resists Normal, Grass, Ice, Flying, Psychic, Bug, Rock, Dragon, Steel, Fairy. Ghost immune Normal/Fighting, weak Ghost/Dark. Combined Steel/Ghost: resist Normal (steel+ghost immune), Grass, Ice, Flying, Psychic, Bug, Rock, Dragon, Steel, Fairy; immune Normal, Fighting; weak? Ghost type weakness Ghost/Dark but Steel resists Ghost and Dark? Steel resists Dark? Steel resists? In Gen 6+, Steel resists Dark? No, Steel resists Normal, Grass, Ice, Flying, Psychic, Bug, Rock, Dragon, Steel, Fairy. It does NOT resist Dark. Ghost is weak to Dark. So Steel/Ghost takes neutral from Dark? Dark vs Steel neutral, vs Ghost super effective; combined? For dual type, effectiveness multiply: Dark vs Steel = 1, vs Ghost = 2 => super effective 2. Ghost vs Steel = 1 (resisted), vs Ghost = 1 => neutral? Wait Ghost vs Steel is not very effective (0.5), Ghost vs Ghost = 2 => neutral 1. So Shadow Ball between Gholdengo neutral. Make It Rain (Steel) vs Steel/Ghost: Steel vs Steel 0.5, vs Ghost 1 => 0.5 resist. Thunderbolt neutral? Electric vs Steel 0.5, vs Ghost 1 => 0.5. Opposing Gholdengo could be problematic but our Gholdengo can recover and maybe outspend? Stats: our gholdengo SPA 185, SPE 104; opponent possible SPA 137-203, SPE 93-149. Could be slower/faster. Sitrus vs maybe item unknown. Good as gold blocks Recover? Recover is status? Good As Gold makes user immune to status moves, but Recover is a status move that heals self; can a Pokémon with Good As Gold use Recover on itself? Yes, immunity to status moves from opponents? Good As Gold: "The Pokémon is immune to status moves." Does that include own status moves? In Showdown, Good As Gold prevents being affected by status moves, including your own? Need recall: Good As Gold (Gholdengo) makes it immune to status moves. It can still use Recover? I think status moves used by the Pokémon with Good As Gold on itself? In games, abilities like Comatose prevent sleep but can use Rest? Good As Gold: "The Pokémon is immune to status moves." It likely blocks all status moves targeting it, including allies? In singles, can it use Recover? Since Recover targets self, maybe ability blocks it? Hmm important. In Pokémon Showdown, Good As Gold: "This Pokémon is immune to status moves." It does not prevent using status moves? It may ignore status moves that target it, including healing? Let's recall from Smogon: Good As Gold makes Gholdengo immune to status moves, including Spore, Thunder Wave, Toxic, Taunt, Encore, etc. It can still use Recover? I have seen Gholdengo with Recover and Good As Gold; can it recover? I think yes? Wait if immune to status moves, Recover is a status move; but abilities that grant immunity to status moves (e.g., Comatose) do not prevent self-inflicted status? For Safeguard prevents status including Rest? Safeguard prevents your own Rest? Yes Safeguard prevents Rest from working? Actually Safeguard prevents status conditions and confusion, but Rest fails if user is behind Safeguard? I think Rest fails while Safeguard is active because it would induce sleep. Good As Gold might similarly make Recover fail? Need not rely maybe. Our Gholdengo has Recover; if Good As Gold blocks self Recover, bad. But in Showdown, Good As Gold only blocks status moves from foes? Let's recall exact: Good As Gold: "The Pokémon is immune to status moves." It doesn't say only opposing. In battle, if a Pokémon with Good As Gold uses a status move on itself, does it fail? I can infer from ability implementation: It adds immunity to being hit by status moves? In Pokemon Showdown, abilities like "Good As Gold" have onHit: status moves? Hmm. It might block moves with category Status from hitting the Pokémon, including self-target? The move Recover targets user; ability could prevent it? But many sets run Recover on Gholdengo with Good As Gold successfully? I recall Gholdengo commonly runs Recover + Good As Gold and it works. Yes, Good As Gold does not prevent own recovery moves? Let's check memory: Gholdengo's ability Good As Gold makes it immune to status moves like Thunder Wave, Toxic, Spore, Taunt, Encore, Disable, etc. It can still use Recover; in fact Recover is a status move but targets itself, maybe not blocked because it's not "affected by" an opponent's status move. In game, Magic Bounce reflects status moves including own? Magic Bounce only reflects opposing status moves, not own? It can bounce back status moves targeted at it; if it uses Recover on itself, no target? Not relevant. I think Recover works.

    - Kingambit: Supreme Overlord boosts based on fallen teammates (in 1v1 with 3 each, if teammates faint, boost). Life Orb. Kowtow Cleave (high crit? ignores? Dark physical), Sucker Punch priority, Swords Dance, Iron Head. Strong late game but slow SPE 70. Weak to Fighting, Ground, Fire. Resists many. Can be checked by Corviknight (resists Dark/Steel? Corviknight Flying/Steel resists Dark? Dark vs Flying neutral, vs Steel neutral => neutral; Iron Head resisted by Steel? Corviknight resists Steel and maybe? Kowtow neutral), Toxapex (resists? Poison/Water: Dark neutral? Water resists Fire; Steel? Toxapex resists? Dark vs Poison neutral, vs Water neutral; Iron Head Steel vs Poison neutral? Steel resists? Poison is resistant to Poison/Bug/Grass/Fairy; takes neutral from Steel. Toxapex can burn/recover), Garchomp (ground immune? Garchomp Dragon/Ground: Dark neutral? Ground vs Steel? Kingambit Dark/Steel: Ground vs Steel neutral? Ground vs Dark neutral => neutral; but Garchomp can Earthquake not resisted? Steel resists? Ground vs Steel = 1? Wait Ground is super effective vs Fire, Electric, Poison, Rock, Steel; not very vs Grass/Bug; immune Flying. So Ground is super effective vs Steel. Kingambit Dark/Steel takes 2 from Ground. Garchomp threatens. Dragapult (Dragon/Ghost) resists? Dark vs Dragon neutral, vs Ghost super effective; Steel vs Dragon resist, vs Ghost neutral => Dragapult resists Dark? Dark vs Dragon 1, vs Ghost 2 => 2 (super effective) actually Kingambit's Dark moves are super effective on Dragapult (Ghost weakness) but Dragapult is faster and can Shadow Ball/Dragon Pulse; Kingambit weak to Dragon? Dragon vs Dark neutral, vs Steel resist => 0.5; Ghost vs Dark neutral, vs Steel resist => 0.5. So Kingambit resists Dragapult's STAB but Dragapult can use Thunderbolt/Fire? not listed. Our Dragapult has Thunderbolt/Dragon Pulse/Shadow Ball/U-turn.

    - Dragapult: Choice Scarf, SPE 213 (very fast; with scarf 319). Infiltrator ignores screens/sub. Moves U-turn, Dragon Pulse, Shadow Ball, Thunderbolt. Great speed control, can check opposing Dragapult? Speed tie possible (opponent dragapult SPE 145-213; our scarf 213*1.5=319, outspeeds all). Can U-turn pivot. Shadow Ball hits Gholdengo/Dragapult; Thunderbolt hits Corviknight? Electric vs Flying/Steel: Electric vs Flying 1, vs Steel 0.5 => 0.5 resist; not great. Dragon Pulse hits Dragapult/Garchomp? Dragon vs Dragon 1, vs Ground 1 => neutral; Garchomp 4x? Ice absent. U-turn chip. Choice locked can be problematic but speed.

    - Torkoal: Drought, Heat Rock, Stealth Rock, Rapid Spin, Eruption, Solar Beam. In singles, sun sets for 5 turns (8 with heat rock). Eruption powerful but decreases with HP; Torkoal slow SPE 36, likely takes damage before moving. Sun boosts Fire, weakens Water. Could support Incineroar Flare Blitz? But no Chlorophyll teammates. Torkoal can set Stealth Rock and Rapid Spin. Eruption can OHKO many if full HP but frail to ground/water/rock. Lead Torkoal vs Garchomp? Garchomp faster, Earthquake OHKO likely. Not ideal lead. Could be back with sun for Eruption after opponent weakened? But one Pokémon field per side; switching in singles? Yes can switch to back Pokémon. Sun can help Incineroar? Fire moves boosted but water weakened; however opponent may have Quaquaval/Garchomp. Torkoal's Drought can be useful to weaken Water attacks and power Eruption/Flare Blitz, but Torkoal itself is slow and weak to Ground/Water/Rock. Heat Rock with sun 8 turns. Stealth Rock/Rapid Spin less impactful in 1v1? Hazards matter on switches; but only one per side and switches limited. Still can set SR if forced out.

    - Azumarill: Focus Sash, Huge Power, Belly Drum, Aqua Jet, Play Rough, Ice Punch. Very strong priority after Belly Drum, but slow SPE 72. Focus Sash allows survive one hit at full HP, then Belly Drum/Aqua Jet. However in singles, if lead at full HP, sash survives a hit, then can Belly Drum (if not faster taunt/status) or Aqua Jet. Huge Power makes Aqua Jet strong. Checks Gholdengo? Play Rough neutral? Steel/Ghost resists? Fairy vs Steel 1, vs Ghost 1 => neutral; Gholdengo can shadow ball. Checks Dragapult? Play Rough super effective vs Dragon, neutral vs Ghost => 2; but Dragapult faster can shadow ball before Azumarill moves unless sash survives and Aqua Jet priority. Azumarill can check Quaquaval (Water/Fighting): Water vs Water resist, vs Fighting neutral => 0.5; Play Rough Fairy vs Water neutral, vs Fighting 1 => neutral; Ice Punch vs Flying? Quaquaval not flying. Aqua Jet resisted by Water. Garchomp: Ice Punch 4x? Ice vs Dragon 1, vs Ground 1 => neutral? Wait Ice is super effective vs Dragon, Flying, Grass, Ground. Garchomp Dragon/Ground: Ice vs Dragon 2, vs Ground 2 => 4x. Azumarill Ice Punch can OHKO Garchomp if survives. But Garchomp faster may Earthquake OHKO Azumarill (Focus Sash survives at full HP from full? Earthquake vs Azumarill Water/Flying? Water resists? Ground vs Water 1, vs Fairy 1 => neutral; Huge Power irrelevant. Azumarill HP 207, Defense 100; Garchomp atk maybe 200, Earthquake BP120, likely huge damage maybe not OHKO? Need estimate. At level 50, Garchomp Atk maybe 180, Earthquake 120 vs Azumarill Def 100 HP207. Damage roughly (2*50/5+2)=22 *180*120/100 /100 +2 = 22*21600/100/100? Let's formula: ((2*50/5 +2)=22) * (180*120/100)=22*216=4752; divide by Def 100 =47.52; /50=0.9504; +2=2.95; *STAB1.5=4.43; *effectiveness1=4.43; *random ~0.85-1 = 3.8-4.5%? That seems wrong because level 50 stats are not 180? Wait stats shown are actual stats at level 50? For Garchomp possible Atk 135-200 (actual stat). Damage formula uses level 50, attack stat 200, defense stat 100. Base damage = (2*50/5+2)=22; * A * P / D / 50 +2 = 22*200*120/100/50+2 = 22*240/50? Let's compute: A*P/D = 200*120/100=240. 22*240=5280; /50=105.6; +2=107.6; *1.5 STAB=161.4; *random ~0.85=137. Azumarill HP207, so not OHKO (unless max roll and atk 200 =154, still <207). With Focus Sash at full HP, survives. Then Azumarill can Ice Punch (priority? Ice Punch not priority; Aqua Jet priority). After surviving, if Azumarill uses Belly Drum, halves HP (to ~52? sash gone? At full HP before hit, after hit at 1 HP due sash; Belly Drum requires HP > half? It fails if user has less than half max HP? In games Belly Drum fails if user's HP is less than or equal to half? It maximizes Attack at cost of half HP; if user has less than half HP, fails. At 1 HP, Belly Drum fails. So Azumarill with Focus Sash should not take hit before Belly Drum. If lead at full HP and opponent move doesn't break sash (leaves 1 HP), Belly Drum fails because HP < half. Unless use Aqua Jet priority first (damage) then maybe get hit? Lead Azumarill can Aqua Jet first (if faster? priority but speed still matters among priority; opponent may have priority Sucker Punch/Aqua Jet). Then if survives at sash? Actually if Azumarill moves first and damages, opponent may break sash leaving 1 HP; then Belly Drum fails next turn. Better lead Belly Drum at full HP before taking damage if faster or opponent doesn't attack? Opponent likely attacks.
    Bonsai 2 27B brought Garchomp,quaquaval,toxapex4,191 tok · 48.5 s

Opponent has 6 Pokémon: Incineroar, Gholdengo, Kingambit, Dragapult, Torkoal, Azumarill. I bring Garchomp (lead, handles Torkoal/Incineroar), Quaquaval (Fighting SE vs Kingambit, Focus Sash), Toxapex (wall for Gholdengo's special attacks). Watch for Intimidate from Incineroar and Dragapult's speed.

    Reasoning trace (1,055 words)
Let me analyze the opponent's team and pick the best 3 Pokémon to bring.

    Opponent's team:
    - Incineroar (Fire/Dark) - Intimidate/Blaze, physical attacker
    - Gholdengo (Steel/Ghost) - GoodasGold, special attacker
    - Kingambit (Dark/Steel) - Defiant/SupremeOverlord/Pressure, physical attacker
    - Dragapult (Dragon/Ghost) - Clearbody/Infiltrator/CursedBody, fast physical attacker
    - Torkoal (Fire) - Whitesmoke/Drought/ShellArmor, slow special attacker
    - Azumarill (Water/Fairy) - ThickFat/HugePower/Sapsipper

    My team:
    - Garchomp (Dragon/Ground) - Life Orb, Roughskin, fast physical attacker
    - Corviknight (Flying/Steel) - Leftovers, Mirror Armor, defensive
    - Toxapex (Poison/Water) - Black Belt, Regenerator, slow but tanky
    - Gholdengo (Steel/Ghost) - Expert Belt, GoodasGold, special attacker
    - Dragapult (Dragon/Ghost) - Light Clay, Infiltrator, very fast physical attacker
    - Quaquaval (Water/Fighting) - Focus Sash, Moxie, physical attacker

Let me think about what to bring:

    Key threats from opponent:
    1. Kingambit (Dark/Steel) - resists a lot, hits Garchomp hard with Dark moves, but is weak to Fighting and Fire
    2. Dragapult (Dragon/Ghost) - very fast, can hit Garchomp with Dragon moves, resists a lot
    3. Incineroar (Fire/Dark) - Intimidate lowers attack, hits Garchomp with Fire
    4. Gholdengo (Steel/Ghost) - special attacker, resists a lot

    What I need:
    - Something to handle Kingambit: Fighting type is great (Quaquaval), or Fire type
    - Something to handle Dragapult: Ice type would be good but I don't have one... Actually, my Garchomp can hit Dragapult with Ground moves (Dragon/Ground resists nothing from Ground... wait, Dragon/Ghost - Ground is neutral to Ghost and super effective to Dragon? No, Ground is not very effective against Ghost. Let me reconsider.

    Actually:
    - Garchomp vs Kingambit: Garchomp's Earthquake hits Kingambit neutrally (Ground vs Dark/Steel = neutral). But Kingambit can hit Garchomp with Dark moves (super effective) or Steel moves (neutral). Garchomp resists Fire, Electric, Rock. Kingambit is Dark/Steel - resists Normal, Fighting, Rock, Bug, Grass, Psychic, Ice, Dragon, Flying, Fairy. Weak to Ground, Fire, Fighting.
    - Garchomp vs Dragapult: Earthquake hits neutrally (Ground vs Dragon/Ghost = neutral). But Dragapult's Phantom Force (Ghost) is immune to Ground! And Dragapult is very fast.
    - Quaquaval vs Kingambit: Close Combat (Fighting) is super effective against Dark/Steel. Great matchup.
    - Quaquaval vs Dragapult: Liquidation (Water) hits neutrally, but Flipturn could be useful. Actually Water is neutral to Dragon/Ghost.
    - Garchomp vs Incineroar: Earthquake is neutral (Ground vs Fire/Dark = neutral). But Intimidate lowers my attack.

Let me think about the best trio:

    Option 1: Garchomp, Quaquaval, Toxapex
    - Garchomp handles Torkoal (Earthquake), Incineroar (resists Fire)
    - Quaquaval handles Kingambit (Fighting super effective), Dragapult (Water neutral but can switch out)
    - Toxapex is a wall for special attackers like Gholdengo

    Option 2: Garchomp, Quaquaval, Corviknight
    - Garchomp handles Torkoal, Incineroar
    - Quaquaval handles Kingambit
    - Corviknight can handle Gholdengo (Steel resists Steel), and is a physical wall

    Option 3: Garchomp, Dragapult, Quaquaval
    - Two fast attackers, but both are weak to Ice (which I don't think opponent has)
    - But two Dragon/Ghost types might be redundant against the opponent's Dragapult

Let me reconsider. The opponent has:
    - Incineroar: Intimidate is a big threat. Garchomp with Life Orb would have reduced attack.
    - Gholdengo: Special attacker, resists a lot of physical moves
    - Kingambit: Physical attacker, resists a LOT (resists 10 types!)
    - Dragapult: Very fast physical attacker
    - Torkoal: Slow special attacker
    - Azumarill: Water/Fairy

Best strategy: I want to handle the physical threats (Kingambit, Incineroar, Dragapult) and have something for Gholdengo.

Garchomp: Great against Torkoal (Earthquake), resists Fire from Incineroar. But Intimidate hurts.
Quaquaval: Great against Kingambit (Fighting SE). Focus Sash lets it survive one hit to set up Moxie.
Toxapex: Can handle Gholdengo's special attacks, Regenerator helps.

Actually, let me reconsider Corviknight vs Toxapex:
    - Corviknight: Flying/Steel, resists a lot physically. Can use Defog. But is weak to Fighting (which Kingambit could have... actually Kingambit is Dark/Steel, so it doesn't hit Corviknight super effectively with Fighting). Wait, Corviknight is weak to Fighting and Fire. Incineroar's Fire would hit Corviknight super effectively! That's bad.
    - Toxapex: Poison/Water, resists a lot. Weak to Grass, Electric, Ground. Gholdengo's Thunderbolt would hit it super effectively. But Gholdengo is special and Toxapex has 172 Def... wait, SpD is 194. That's good for special attacks.

Actually Toxapex with 194 SpD can tank Gholdengo's Flash Cannon (Steel) - Steel is neutral to Poison/Water. Shadow Ball (Ghost) is neutral. Thunderbolt (Electric) is super effective but Toxapex has high SpD.

Hmm, let me think about what the opponent will likely lead with. They probably have a balanced team. Kingambit or Incineroar as leads are common.

I'll go with: Garchomp, Quaquaval, Toxapex

    - Garchomp (lead): Fast physical attacker, can handle Torkoal, resists Fire from Incineroar
    - Quaquaval: Handles Kingambit with Fighting SE, Focus Sash for survival
    - Toxapex: Wall for special attackers, Regenerator for sustain

Actually wait - let me reconsider. If the opponent leads with Dragapult, Garchomp is in trouble (Dragapult outspeeds at 213 vs 169). But Garchomp can still hit it with Earthquake (neutral) and Dragonclaw (neutral to Ghost, super effective to Dragon... wait Dragon/Ghost - Dragon move is neutral to Ghost but super effective to Dragon? No. Dragon is super effective against Dragon. So Dragonclaw hits Dragapult for 2x damage! That's great.)

Actually let me double-check: Dragon type moves are super effective against Dragon and Ice types. Dragapult is Dragon/Ghost. So Dragonclaw (Dragon) hits it for 2x (super effective to Dragon, neutral to Ghost). Yes!

And Earthquake hits neutrally (Ground vs Dragon = neutral, Ground vs Ghost = immune... wait no. Ground moves are NOT immune to Ghost. Ghost type resists nothing from Ground? Let me think...

Ground is super effective against Fire, Ice, Rock, Steel.
Ground is not very effective against Bug, Grass.
Ghost is immune to Normal and Fighting.
So Ground vs Ghost: neutral (Ground doesn't have any special interaction with Ghost).

Wait, actually I need to check: does Ground hit Ghost neutrally? Yes, Ground moves hit Ghost types at normal effectiveness. The immunity is only for Normal and Fighting moves hitting Ghost.

So Garchomp's Earthquake hits Dragapult neutrally, and Dragonclaw hits it super effectively (2x). Good.

For Kingambit: Quaquaval's Close Combat (Fighting) is super effective against Dark/Steel.

For Incineroar: Garchomp resists Fire, so Intimidate + Fire moves are less threatening. Earthquake hits neutrally.

For Gholdengo: Toxapex can tank it with high SpD. Or Quaquaval's Liquidation (Water) is neutral to Steel/Ghost.

I'll go with Garchomp, Quaquaval, Toxapex as my lead trio.

  2. Turn 1
    Nemotron 3.5 Super VL used Fakeout4,742 tok · 8.8 s

Lead Incineroar vs Garchomp; Intimidate already dropped Garchomp Atk. Use Fake Out (priority +3) to flinch/scout; if it attacks, Incineroar can take Earthquake then pivot. Save Kingambit for late; Gholdengo is special win condition. Watch faster Dragapult/Quaquaval.

    Reasoning trace (1,211 words)
We need answer exactly format. Need decide action. Battle: Incineroar active vs Garchomp at -1 Atk due Intimidate. Garchomp likely faster (109-169 vs Incineroar 80). Legal actions: Fake Out priority +3 first turn on field, can flinch. Parting Shot lowers Atk/SpA and switch. Flareblitz not very effective (Garchomp 4x resists Fire? Dragon/Ground: Fire neutral? Ground resists Fire? Actually Ground resists Fire (0.5x), Dragon neutral, so 0.5x; not very effective yes). Snarl lowers SpA. Switch to Gholdengo or Kingambit.

Need plan. We have only seen Garchomp. Need choose action. Fake Out can stop Garchomp turn 1 and flinch, but Garchomp may have Rough Skin if contact? Fake Out is contact? Yes Fake Out makes contact? I think Fake Out is contact move? It deals damage and flinch; if Garchomp has Rough Skin, Incineroar takes 1/8 max HP. But Fake Out priority +3 will hit before Garchomp unless opponent uses priority (none known maybe Sucker Punch not on Garchomp). It can prevent Garchomp from moving if flinched. However if Garchomp has Substitute? not revealed. Fake Out cannot be selected unless first turn on field; it is Incineroar's first turn. Good.

Parting Shot would lower Garchomp Atk and SpA then switch to Gholdengo/Kingambit. But Garchomp moves first (unless parting shot is status no priority? Parting Shot no priority, so Garchomp moves before parting shot? In Showdown, moves without priority are ordered by speed; Garchomp faster, so it would attack before Parting Shot. Unless Intimidate already lowered atk. Risk. Fake Out goes first due priority and can flinch, then if not flinched Garchomp attacks after. Fake Out likely best to gain momentum and possibly flinch. But if Garchomp has Rough Skin, Fake Out contact causes recoil? Rough Skin damages attacker on contact moves; Fake Out is contact? Need verify: Fake Out is a contact move? Bulbapedia: Fake Out (move) makes contact? I believe yes? Let's recall: Contact moves include Fake Out? In Pokémon, Fake Out is not affected by Protect? It is a contact move? I think Fake Out does make contact (it can be blocked by Protect, and abilities like Rough Skin, Static, Flame Body can activate). Yes Fake Out is contact. If Garchomp Rough Skin, Incineroar takes 12.5% HP after Fake Out. Still okay. If Garchomp uses Rocky Helmet unknown item also contact damage. Fake Out may flinch and prevent attack; if not flinch, Garchomp attacks after Fake Out (Earthquake likely) doing significant to Incineroar. But Intimidate -1 helps. Incineroar has Leftovers.

Alternative Parting Shot to Gholdengo: Gholdengo is immune to Ground (Steel/Ghost) and can take Earthquake, threatens Garchomp with Shadow Ball? Gholdengo vs Garchomp: Shadow Ball neutral (Ghost vs Dragon neutral? Ghost is neutral to Dragon; Steel/Ghost attacking Ghost is neutral to Dragon/Ground? Ghost vs Dragon neutral, vs Ground neutral; so neutral). Gholdengo has high SpA but Garchomp may outspeed and KO with Earthquake? Gholdengo HP 194, Def 115; Earthquake from Garchomp at +? At -1 Atk maybe can 2HKO/OHKO? Need estimate. Gholdengo is grounded? Steel/Ghost not immune to Ground? Ghost immunity to Normal/Fighting only; Steel/Ghost is not Ground immune (unless ability? Good as Gold no). Earthquake is super effective? Ground vs Steel is neutral? Ground is not very effective vs Flying? vs Steel neutral? Actually Ground is super effective against Fire, Electric, Poison, Rock, Steel; not very effective vs Grass/Bug; no effect Flying. So Earthquake is super effective vs Steel (2x) and neutral vs Ghost? Type effectiveness combined: Ground vs Steel/Ghost = 2 (Steel) *1 (Ghost)=2. Gholdengo Def 115, HP194. Garchomp Atk maybe 167 after -1? Earthquake BP100 STAB? In Pokémon Showdown? Moves BP: earthquake likely 100. Damage at level50: ((2*50/5+2)*100*(Atk/Def)/50)+2. If Atk 167, Def115: base factor 22*100*1.452/50=63.9+2=65.9; STAB 1.5=98.9; supereffective 2=197.8; random ~0.85-1 =168-198. Could OHKO or leave low. If Garchomp Atk lower 135 after -1? Atk stat maybe 135-200 range includes nature/IV; after intimidate maybe 121-180. Earthquake could OHKO Gholdengo often. Switching to Gholdengo on predicted Earthquake is risky but Gholdengo can Recover. However Garchomp moves first and may KO before Gholdengo acts. Kingambit resists? Dark/Steel vs Ground: Ground is super effective vs Steel (2x), neutral vs Dark => 2x; Kingambit has high HP/Def but Earthquake super effective can hurt. Kingambit can Sucker Punch priority if Garchomp attacks, but if Garchomp uses non-attacking (Swords Dance?) Sucker fails. Garchomp likely lead with Earthquake or Stone Edge? Not revealed.

Fake Out seems safe: priority flinch, chip damage, then decide. If Garchomp flinches, we can next turn switch or attack. If not flinch, Garchomp attacks after Fake Out; Incineroar can take hit and then Parting Out/Flareblitz? But Flareblitz resisted and recoil; not good. Snarl lowers SpA but Garchomp is physical. Parting Shot after Garchomp attack could lower and switch to Gholdengo/Kingambit, but if Incineroar survives. Fake Out turn 1 is standard lead vs Garchomp to prevent Earthquake and scout. Need maybe use Fake Out. Notes should plan: Fake Out to flinch/disable Garchomp turn 1; if it moves, switch to Gholdengo (Ground immunity? Wait not immune) or Kingambit; preserve Kingambit for late; watch for Dragapult/Quaquaval faster. But Gholdengo not Ground immune; however it resists? Steel/Ghost resists Dragon? Steel resists Dragon (0.5), Ghost resists Dragon? Ghost vs Dragon neutral, so Gholdengo resists Dragon 0.5 and is immune to Normal/Fighting, poison? Poison vs Steel/Ghost: Poison is not very effective vs Steel? Poison vs Steel neutral? Actually Poison is super effective vs Grass/Fairy; not very effective vs Poison/Ground/Rock/Ghost; no effect Steel. So Poison vs Steel/Ghost = no effect (0) due Steel. Ground is 2x. Gholdengo can take non-Ground moves well and Recover. But Earthquake is common for Garchomp. If Garchomp is locked into Outrage? Gholdengo resists Dragon and immune? Ghost is immune to Normal/Fighting, not Dragon. Outrage is Dragon, Gholdengo resists 0.5 (Steel) and neutral Ghost =0.5, good. But Garchomp likely Earthquake to hit Incineroar/Gholdengo/Kingambit. Incineroar is Fire/Dark: Ground is super effective vs Fire (2x), neutral vs Dark => 2x. Incineroar HP202 Def156; Earthquake at -1 maybe not OHKO? Atk 167: factor 22*100*(167/156)/50=47.2+2=49.2; *1.5 STAB=73.8; *2 supereff=147.6; random 125-148. Incineroar can survive, Leftovers. Fake Out then Earthquake leaves Incineroar ~55-75%. Then can Parting Shot to Gholdengo/Kingambit. But if Fake Out flinches, no damage taken. Good.

Need consider Mega Evolution available: No. In this format "Mega Evolution instead of Terastallization" but our team has no mega stones? Incineroar can Mega Evolve? Mega Incineroar doesn't exist. Gholdengo no mega. Kingambit no mega. So no.

We can include notes and decision. Need maybe mention opponent possible abilities unknown. Keep notes concise.

Garchomp leads with Life Orb, Atk -1 from Intimidate. Incineroar (Fire/Dark) is a guaranteed KO target for Earthquake (2x Ground). Garchomp outspeeds Incineroar. After KOs, watch for their remaining 3: likely Gholdengo, Kingambit, Dragapult based on team preview. Quaquaval handles Kingambit, Toxapex walls Gholdengo.

    Reasoning trace (845 words)
    Let me analyze the situation:

    - I'm leading with Garchomp (Dragon/Ground, Life Orb, Atk -1 from Intimidate)
    - Opponent is leading with Incineroar (Fire/Dark, Intimidate)
    - Garchomp moves first (speed 169 vs 72-123)

    Garchomp's options:
    1. Earthquake - Ground/Physical, BP 100, super effective on Fire/Dark (4x? No, Ground is super effective on Fire but not Dark. Wait, let me think again. Ground is super effective against Fire, Rock, Steel. It's NOT super effective against Dark. So it's only 2x on Incineroar.)

    Wait, let me re-check:
    - Ground is super effective against: Fire, Ice, Rock, Steel
    - Ground is NOT super effective against: Dark (it's neutral)
    - So Earthquake on Incineroar (Fire/Dark): Ground hits Fire for 2x, but the move type is just Ground. The move deals damage based on its own type vs the target's types. Ground vs Fire = 2x, Ground vs Dark = 1x. Combined: 2x * 1x = 2x.

Actually wait - in Pokémon, when a move hits a dual-type, you multiply the effectiveness for each type. So Ground (move) vs Fire/Dark (target):
    - Ground vs Fire: 2x
    - Ground vs Dark: 1x
    - Total: 2x * 1x = 2x

So Earthquake is super effective (2x) on Incineroar. Good.

    2. Dragonclaw - Dragon/Physical, BP 80. Dragon vs Fire/Dark: neutral x neutral = 1x. Not great.

    3. Stoneedge - Rock/Physical, BP 100, 80% accuracy, super effective on Incineroar. Rock vs Fire/Dark: Rock vs Fire = 2x, Rock vs Dark = 1x. Total: 2x. Super effective but 80% accuracy.

    4. Dragontail - Dragon/Physical, BP 60, priority -6. Forces switch. Dragon vs Fire/Dark = neutral. Low damage.

    5. Switch to Quaquaval
    6. Switch to Toxapex

Garchomp with Life Orb and Atk -1:
    - Base Atk 182, with -1 stage: roughly 182 * (1/1.5) ≈ 121 effective Atk... actually the formula is different. With a -1 stage, the multiplier is 0.667. So effective Atk = 182 * 0.667 ≈ 121.

    With Life Orb: damage = (Atk * BP / target_def) * STAB * type_effectiveness * modifiers

Let me estimate Earthquake damage on Incineroar:
    - Garchomp's effective Atk with -1: ~121
    - Life Orb: 1.3x
    - STAB: Dragon/Ground, Ground is STAB = 1.5x
    - Type effectiveness: 2x (Ground vs Fire)
    - Incineroar Def: let's say around 99-156, midpoint ~127

    Damage ≈ (121 * 100 / 127) * 1.3 * 1.5 * 2 = (95.3) * 3.9 ≈ 372

    Incineroar HP: 170-202, midpoint ~186

So Earthquake would deal about 372 damage to an Incineroar with ~186 HP... that's a KO! Even at the low end of Def (99), it'd be even more. At high Def (156): (121*100/156)*3.9 = 77.6*3.9 ≈ 303, still KOs an Incineroar with max HP 202.

Wait, let me recalculate more carefully. The damage formula in Pokémon is:
    Damage = ((2*Level/5 + 2) * BP * Atk * STAB * Type / Def) / 50 + 2

    At level 50: (2*50/5 + 2) = (20+2) = 22

    So: Damage = (22 * 100 * Atk * STAB * Type / Def) / 50 + 2

With Life Orb and -1 stage:
    - Atk base 182, with -1: the stat is reduced. Actually, in Pokémon, a -1 stage means the stat is multiplied by (1/1.5) = 0.667. But the actual stat value... let me think. The displayed stats are already calculated. So Atk 182 is the base stat at level 50 with IVs/EVs. With a -1 stage, it becomes 182 * (2/3) ≈ 121.

Wait, actually in Showdown, the stats shown ARE the actual stats. The -1 boost means the effective Atk for damage calculation is reduced. Let me just use the formula:

    Damage = ((2*50/5 + 2) * BP * Atk_eff * STAB * Type / Def) / 50 + 2
    = (22 * 100 * 121 * 1.5 * 2 / Def) / 50 + 2

With Life Orb: multiply by 1.3

    = (22 * 100 * 121 * 1.5 * 2 * 1.3 / Def) / 50 + 2
    = (86460 / Def) + 2

    If Incineroar Def = 99: 86460/99 + 2 ≈ 873 + 2 = 875 → KOs easily
    If Incineroar Def = 127: 86460/127 + 2 ≈ 681 + 2 = 683 → KOs
    If Incineroar Def = 156: 86460/156 + 2 ≈ 554 + 2 = 556 → KOs

Incineroar HP range: 170-202. All of these are well above the max HP. So Earthquake is a guaranteed KO on Incineroar!

Wait, but I need to account for the fact that Garchomp also takes damage from Incineroar's move after it acts (since Garchomp moves first). But since Earthquake KOs Incineroar, Incineroar won't get to attack.

Actually wait - does Intimidate affect this? Intimidate lowers Attack by 1 stage on switch-in. That's already applied (Garchomp Atk -1). So my calculation above is correct.

So the best move is Earthquake - it's a guaranteed KO on Incineroar. Let me go with that.

Actually, let me double-check: Stoneedge is also super effective (2x) but has 80% accuracy. Earthquake is 100% accuracy and also 2x. Earthquake is clearly better.

    Decision: MOVE: earthquake

Plan: Parting Shot to drop Garchomp to Atk -2/SpA -1, then switch to Gholdengo (Ground-immune) to wall Earthquake and Shadow Ball/Recover. Garchomp is faster and has Rough Skin; save Kingambit for late. Watch Dragapult/Quaquaval speed and opposing Gholdengo.

    Reasoning trace (1,476 words)
We need answer exactly format. Need decide action. Let's analyze battle. We have Incineroar active vs Garchomp at 89%, Intimidate dropped Garchomp Atk -1. Incineroar took Rough Skin from Fake Out contact? Fake Out made contact? Yes Rough Skin damage 1/8 max HP ~25 HP, healed Leftovers to 189. Garchomp couldn't move flinched. Turn 2 legal: PartingShot lowers Atk/SpA and switch; FlareBlitz not very effective on Garchomp (Fire resisted by Dragon/Ground? Fire vs Dragon neutral, vs Ground neutral actually not very effective? Wait Garchomp Dragon/Ground: Fire is neutral to Dragon and neutral to Ground? Ground resists? Fire is neutral to Ground. So not very effective? The log says not very effective on garchomp maybe because Garchomp has ability? No. Dragon/Ground: Fire neutral (1x). But maybe in this game format? It says not very effective, maybe due to Garchomp's held item? Unknown. Anyway FlareBlitz physical with Incineroar Atk 135 vs Garchomp Def maybe high, resisted? likely low damage and recoil. Snarl lowers SpA (Garchomp physical mostly, but could have special moves). PartingShot lowers Atk and SpA then switch to Gholdengo or Kingambit. Since Garchomp is faster and likely will attack next turn. Incineroar at 93% can take an Earthquake? Intimidate -1, Rough Skin. But if switch to Gholdengo, Gholdengo is immune to Ground (Steel/Ghost) and can threaten Garchomp with Shadow Ball/Make It Rain? Gholdengo vs Garchomp: Gholdengo can take non-Ground moves; Garchomp Earthquake immune? Gholdengo is Ghost, immune to Earthquake (Ground) yes. Good switch-in. However Garchomp may have Stone Edge/Fire Fang etc. Gholdengo resists? Steel/Ghost resists Dragon? Steel resists Dragon, Ghost immune to Normal/Fighting, etc. Garchomp's Dragon Claw is resisted by Steel? Dragon vs Steel = not very effective (0.5). Fire Fang is super effective vs Steel (2x) but Gholdengo maybe can take? Fire Fang physical vs Gholdengo Def 115, Garchomp Atk after Intimidate -1 maybe could hurt. But Gholdengo has Good As Gold immune to status moves, not relevant. PartingShot to Gholdengo seems best: lower Garchomp Atk further to -2 and SpA -1, then switch into Gholdengo immune to Ground. But PartingShot is status Dark; Good As Gold on opposing Gholdengo not active now. Garchomp can be hit by PartingShot? Dark vs Dragon neutral, status move accuracy 100, lowers stats. It doesn't damage. Then switch. Since Garchomp moves first unless priority; PartingShot is status no priority? In this game, PartingShot likely no priority? It lowers then user switches. If Garchomp moves first this turn, it could attack Incineroar before PartingShot? In Showdown, moves execute by speed priority; PartingShot has priority 0, Garchomp's Earthquake priority 0, Garchomp faster, so it moves first. But we choose action now; if Garchomp attacks first, Incineroar may take damage then PartingShot still executes if not fainted? In turn-based, both choose moves; faster moves first. If Garchomp uses Earthquake and Incineroar uses PartingShot, Garchomp moves first, may damage Incineroar, then Incineroar PartingShot lowers stats and switches if still alive. Incineroar at 189 HP can survive Earthquake? Let's estimate. Level 50 Garchomp Atk range 135-200, after Intimidate -1 (0.5? Actually -1 stage = 0.667? In Pokémon, stat stages: -1 = 2/3? Wait stat multiplier for -1 is 2/3? Let's recall: stage -2 = 2/4=0.5, -1 = 2/3? No formula: stage -6=2/8=0.25, -5=2/7=0.2857, -4=2/6=0.333, -3=2/5=0.4, -2=2/4=0.5, -1=2/3=0.6667, 0=1, +1=3/2=1.5. Yes -1 = 0.6667. But log said atk -1. Incineroar Def 156, HP 202. Earthquake BP100 STAB. Damage roughly floor(floor(floor(2*50/5+2)*Atk*BP/Def)/50)+2. If Atk after intimidate maybe 135*2/3=90 (if base 135) to 200*2/3=133. Damage max: level term 22; 22*133*100/156=1880; /50=37.6 +2=39; with random 85-100% ~33-39. Min ~22*90*100/156=1269/50=25+2=27 random ~23-27. Plus maybe if Garchomp has Life Orb? unknown. Incineroar can survive easily. Rough Skin if contact? Earthquake doesn't contact. Leftovers heals. PartingShot then switch to Gholdengo. Good.

Alternative FlareBlitz: Fire not very effective (per log) and recoil; Garchomp faster will attack next. Not good. Snarl lowers SpA only; Garchomp likely physical; no switch. PartingShot gives momentum and further Atk drop. Switch to Gholdengo to handle Garchomp. But note Gholdengo item Sitrus Berry, PP Make It Rain only 8/8 (low), Shadow Ball 24, Thunderbolt 24, Recover 8. Gholdengo can switch into Garchomp's Earthquake (immune) and maybe use Shadow Ball. Garchomp at 89% after Fake Out; Shadow Ball from Gholdengo SpA 185 vs Garchomp SpD maybe 94-150. If SpD high (150) damage maybe ~? 22*185*80/150=2165/50=43+2=45 random 38-45, not enough. If SpD low 94: 22*185*80/94=3455/50=69+2=71 random 60-71, could KO from 89%? Garchomp HP max maybe 183-215; at 89% if max HP 215 ->191 HP, Shadow Ball max 71 not KO. If min HP 183 ->163 HP, max 71 not KO. Make It Rain BP120 Steel vs Dragon/Ground neutral? Steel vs Dragon neutral, vs Ground neutral? Actually Steel is not very effective vs Ground? Wait type chart: Steel vs Ground is not very effective? Let's recall: Ground is resistant to Steel? In Pokémon, Steel-type moves are not very effective against Ground? Hmm type chart: Steel is super effective against Rock, Ice, Fairy; not very effective against Fire, Water, Electric, Steel. Ground is not in list, so neutral. But Ground-type Pokémon are immune to Electric, not Steel. Make It Rain BP120 STAB from SpA185 vs Garchomp SpD maybe: if SpD 150, damage ~22*185*120/150=3256/50=65+2=67 random 57-67; not KO at 89% if HP high. If SpD 94, damage ~22*185*120/94=5183/50=103+2=105 random 89-105, could KO if Garchomp HP low (163) maybe max 105 not KO; if HP 183 at 89%=163, max 105 no. If Garchomp HP min 183 and at 89%=163, no. Make It Rain lowers SpA by 2 stages, not ideal. Shadow Ball safer. Gholdengo can Recover later. But Garchomp faster than Gholdengo? Garchomp Spe 109-169, Gholdengo 104. Garchomp may outspeed and attack before Gholdengo moves. But Gholdengo is immune to Earthquake; if Garchomp uses Earthquake, no damage. If Garchomp uses Stone Edge/Fire Fang/Dragon Claw, Gholdengo may take damage but can recover. Gholdengo resists Dragon Claw (Steel resists Dragon) and is neutral to Fire Fang? Steel is weak to Fire (2x). Fire Fang could be strong: Garchomp Atk after Intimidate -1 and maybe PartingShot -2 = 0.444? If Atk base 135 ->60, Fire Fang BP65 vs Gholdengo Def115: 22*60*65/115=747/50=14+2=16 random low. If Atk base 200 ->89, damage 22*89*65/115=1107/50=22+2=24 random 20-24. Not huge. If Garchomp has Swords Dance? not revealed. But okay.

Switch to Kingambit? Kingambit is slower (70) and weak to Ground (4x? Dark/Steel: Ground is super effective vs Steel? Ground vs Steel = super effective (2x), vs Dark neutral, so 2x; not 4 because Dark neutral. Earthquake would hurt Kingambit badly: Garchomp Atk after Intimidate -1 vs Kingambit Def140 HP207. Max Atk 133: 22*133*100/140=2086/50=41+2=43 random 36-43; min Atk90: 22*90*100/140=1414/50=28+2=30 random 25-30. Kingambit can survive but not ideal; also Garchomp faster. Gholdengo better due Ground immunity.

Need craft notes at most 60 words. Include plan: PartingShot to lower Garchomp Atk/SpA, switch to Gholdengo (Ground immune) to wall Earthquake and pressure with Shadow Ball/Recover; save Kingambit late; watch faster Dragapult/Quaquaval and opposing Gholdengo. Need mention Garchomp ability Rough Skin revealed, item unknown. At most 60 words. Then decision exactly MOVE: partingshot. Need ensure no extra text. The user says answer in exactly this form: <notes>...</notes>, then <decision>...</decision>. We can include newline between. Fine.

Need consider if PartingShot's stat drop applies before switch and if Garchomp moves first. Yes. Could there be issue: PartingShot is Dark status; Garchomp is Dragon/Ground, not immune. Good. It lowers Atk and SpA by 1. Since Intimidate already Atk -1, PartingShot makes Atk -2. Good.

Potential problem: Incineroar's Fake Out already used; cannot use again unless switch out and back. PartingShot is good. FlareBlitz not very effective and recoil; Snarl no switch. Switch directly to Gholdengo without PartingShot would not lower Garchomp's attack; but PartingShot then switch is better. However if Garchomp moves first and uses a contact move, Incineroar takes Rough Skin? Actually if Garchomp uses Earthquake no contact; if Fire Fang/Fang contact, Incineroar takes Rough Skin 1/8 max (~25) and Garchomp maybe no ability? Rough Skin revealed. Incineroar can survive. PartingShot still executes unless fainted. Fine.

Turn 2: Garchomp at 89.6% HP, Atk -1 from Intimidate, Life Orb. Incineroar at 93% HP with Leftovers. Earthquake is 2x SE (Ground vs Fire/Dark) and should KO Incineroar even with the -1 stage. Garchomp outspeeds it. After KO, expect a switch to one of: Gholdengo, Kingambit, Dragapult, Torkoal, Azumarill. Quaquaval handles Kingambit, Toxapex walls Gholdengo.

    Reasoning trace (569 words)
    Let me analyze the situation:

    - My Garchomp is at 164/183 HP (89.6%), with Atk -1 from Intimidate, and it's been flinched on turn 1.
    - Incineroar is at 93% HP, has Leftovers, and used Fake Out to flinch Garchomp.
    - Garchomp outspeeds Incineroar (169 vs 72-123).
    - Earthquake is super effective on Incineroar (Ground vs Fire/Dark = 2x).

With Atk -1 and Life Orb, let me calculate:
    - Garchomp's base Atk at level 50 with the stats given: Atk 182. With Intimidate (-1), that's roughly 182 * (1/1.5) ≈ 121... wait, actually in Pokémon, -1 stage means multiplying by 1/1.5 = 0.667. So effective Atk is about 182 * 0.667 ≈ 122.

Actually, let me reconsider. The stats shown are [HP 183, Atk 182, Def 115, SpA 90, SpD 107, Spe 169]. With -1 Attack stage, the effective Attack is 182 * (1/1.5) ≈ 121.

    Earthquake with Life Orb:
    - Base damage = ((2*50+2)/50 + 2) * (BP/2) * (Atk/Def) / 50 + 2
    - With super effective: multiply by 2
    - Life Orb: multiply by 1.3

Let me estimate: Incineroar's Def is in range 99-156. Let's say around 127 (middle).

    Damage = ((2*50+2)/50 + 2) * (100/2) * (121/127) / 50 + 2, all times 2 (SE) and 1.3 (Life Orb)
    = (4.04) * 50 * (0.953) / 50 + 2 = 4.04 * 0.953 + 2 = 3.85 + 2 = 5.85
    Then * 2 (SE) * 1.3 (Life Orb) = 5.85 * 2.6 = 15.2

Wait, that doesn't seem right. Let me recalculate more carefully.

    The damage formula in Pokémon:
    Damage = (((2*Level/5 + 2) * Power * Attacker_Atk / Defender_Def) / 50) + 2

    With Level 50: (2*50/5 + 2) = (20+2) = 22
    Power = 100
    Attacker Atk (effective with -1) ≈ 182 * 0.667 ≈ 121
    Defender Def ≈ let's say 127 (middle of 99-156)

    Base damage = (22 * 100 * 121 / 127) / 50 + 2 = (266200/127)/50 + 2 = 2096.85/50 + 2 = 41.94 + 2 = 43.94

    With SE (x2): 43.94 * 2 = 87.88
    With Life Orb (x1.3): 87.88 * 1.3 = 114.2

Incineroar's HP is at 93% of max. Max HP range is 170-202, let's say ~186. So current HP ≈ 173.

So Earthquake would deal about 114 damage to an Incineroar with ~173 HP. That's a KO!

Even in the worst case (Def 156):
    Base damage = (22 * 100 * 121 / 156) / 50 + 2 = (266200/156)/50 + 2 = 1706.4/50 + 2 = 34.13 + 2 = 36.13
    With SE: 72.26
    With Life Orb: 93.9

Incineroar at 93% of 170-202 HP... worst case HP is 202 * 0.93 ≈ 188. So 94 damage wouldn't KO it. But most likely it will KO.

Actually wait, let me reconsider the Atk -1 calculation. In Pokémon, stage modifiers work as:
    - Stage -1: multiplier = 1/1.5 = 0.667
    - So effective Atk = 182 * 0.667 ≈ 121

With Life Orb damage reduction (1/10 max HP per turn): Garchomp loses 183/10 ≈ 18 HP after attacking.

So Earthquake should KO Incineroar in most cases. Let me go with Earthquake.

Actually, I should also consider: Incineroar has Intimidate which already lowered my Atk. But since I'm KOsing it anyway, that's fine. After the switch, the new Pokémon won't have Intimidate (unless it's another one).

Let me go with Earthquake to KO Incineroar.

Switch to Gholdengo: immune to Garchomp's Earthquake, walls it. Garchomp at -2 Atk/-1 SpA, 79% HP, Life Orb/Rough Skin. Gholdengo can Recover or Shadow Ball. Save Kingambit for late game. Watch opposing Dragapult/Quaquaval speed.

The user wants me to choose an action for a Pokémon Showdown battle.

    Current state:
    - My active: Incineroar at 54/202 HP (26.7%), item Leftovers
    - Opponent active: Garchomp at 79% HP, item Life Orb, Ability Rough Skin, boosts Atk -2, SpA -1
    - Revealed move: Earthquake
    - Speed: Incineroar 80 vs Garchomp 109-169, Garchomp moves first unless priority

    Legal actions:
    1. SWITCH: gholdengo (100.0% HP)
    2. SWITCH: kingambit (100.0% HP)

I cannot attack because the only legal actions are switches. Wait, let me check - the legal actions listed are only switches. So I must switch.

Gholdengo is Ground-immune (Steel/Ghost), so it walls Earthquake completely. It can Recover or attack with Shadow Ball/Make It Rain/Thunderbolt. Gholdengo has Sitrus Berry.

Kingambit is Dark/Steel, not Ground-immune, so Earthquake would hit it (though it resists? No, Dark/Steel is neutral to Ground? Let's check: Ground vs Dark = neutral, Ground vs Steel = neutral? Actually Steel resists Ground? No, Steel is resistant to Normal, Grass, Ice, Flying, Psychic, Bug, Rock, Dragon, Steel, Fairy. Ground is not resisted by Steel. Wait, Ground is super effective against Fire, Electric, Poison, Rock, Steel. Yes! Ground is super effective against Steel. So Kingambit (Dark/Steel) takes 2x from Earthquake. That's bad.

So switching to Gholdengo is the clear choice. Gholdengo is immune to Ground, so Earthquake does nothing. Gholdengo can then attack or Recover.

The plan: Switch to Gholdengo to wall Earthquake, then use Shadow Ball or Recover. Garchomp has Rough Skin and Life Orb, but Gholdengo doesn't make contact with Earthquake (it's not a contact move), so no Rough Skin damage. Gholdengo can threaten with Shadow Ball (super effective? Ghost vs Dragon = neutral, vs Ground = neutral). Actually Garchomp is Dragon/Ground, so Ghost is neutral, Ground is immune to Electric. Shadow Ball is neutral. Make It Rain is Steel, neutral vs Dragon/Ground? Steel vs Dragon = neutral, vs Ground = neutral. Thunderbolt is Ground immune? No, Electric is immune to Ground. So Thunderbolt does nothing to Garchomp.

Gholdengo should probably use Shadow Ball to chip, or Recover to stay healthy. But this turn is just the switch.

    So decision: SWITCH: gholdengo

Notes should be concise, at most 60 words.

Gholdengo is NOT immune to Earthquake (Steel/Ghost takes Ground neutrally/super effectively? Ground hits Steel for 2x), but can likely survive one -2 Life Orb Earthquake and Recover back. Shadow Ball/Make It Rain cannot reliably KO Garchomp at 79% from full. Best to Recover now, preserve Kingambit as cleaner, and chip Garchomp next turn if it stays in. Watch for Dragapult/Quaquaval speed and opposing Gholdengo.

We need answer exact format. Need decide action. Let's analyze battle state.

We are Gholdengo active vs Garchomp active at 79% HP, boosts Atk -2 SpA -1, item Life Orb, ability Rough Skin. Our Gholdengo full HP, Sitrus Berry, Good as Gold immune to status. Speed: Gholdengo 104 vs Garchomp possible 109-169, so Garchomp moves first unless priority. Garchomp revealed Earthquake only; likely has other moves (Stone Edge, Fire Blast, etc). Gholdengo immune to Ground, resists? Ghost/Steel vs Dragon/Ground: Earthquake immune. Shadow Ball is neutral? Garchomp Dragon/Ground: Ghost neutral, Ground neutral? Shadow Ball vs Dragon/Ground: neutral (1x). Make It Rain Steel vs Dragon/Ground: neutral? Steel vs Dragon neutral, vs Ground neutral = 1x, but lowers SpA by 2. Thunderbolt no effect on Garchomp (Ground immune). Recover heals 50%. Since Gholdengo is immune to Earthquake and Good as Gold blocks status, but Garchomp can attack with other moves. We need plan ahead.

We have Incineroar low 54/202, Kingambit full. Opponent has 2 more to come from list. We saw Garchomp only. Need choose action this turn. Options: Shadow Ball to damage Garchomp (maybe KO? at 79%, Life Orb recoil already applied? It is at 79% after LO from Earthquake. Shadow Ball from Gholdengo SpA 185 vs Garchomp Def maybe around 130? At level 50, damage roughly: (2*50/5+2)=22 *185*80 / (Def ~130) /50 +2 =? 22*185=4070*80=325600 /130=2504 /50=50.1 +2=52.2, with modifiers maybe ~52%? Actually if Def 130, damage ~52% of Garchomp HP. Garchomp at 79%, Shadow Ball could KO if high roll and low defense. But Garchomp moves first and may use Stone Edge/Fire Blast/Fang. Gholdengo resists? Fire neutral? Steel/Ghost resists Dragon, Grass, Ice? Let's recall type chart: Steel/Ghost resistances: Normal, Grass, Ice, Flying, Psychic, Bug, Rock, Dragon, Steel, Fairy, Poison? Ghost resists Poison/Bug; Steel resists many. Weaknesses: Fire, Ground, Ghost, Dark. Gholdengo is immune to Ground (Steel? Ground not effective on Flying? Wait Ground vs Steel is neutral? Let's check: Ground is super effective vs Fire, Electric, Poison, Rock, Steel. Yes Ground is super effective against Steel! But Gholdengo is Steel/Ghost; Ghost is immune to Ground? Ground vs Ghost: Ground is not very effective? Actually Ground moves affect Ghost? In Pokémon, Ground is immune to Flying, not Ghost. Ghost is immune to Normal and Fighting. Steel is immune to Poison. Ground vs Steel is super effective. However Gholdengo ability Good as Gold makes immune to status moves only, not Ground. Wait earlier notes said Gholdengo immune to Garchomp's Earthquake—wrong? Let's verify: Gholdengo is Steel/Ghost. Ground is super effective against Steel, and Ghost does not immunize Ground. So Earthquake hits Gholdengo for super effective! But in battle log Turn 2: Your Incineroar used Parting Shot; Your Gholdengo came in. It didn't show Garchomp using Earthquake against Gholdengo yet. Turn 3 speed says Garchomp moves first. Earthquake would be super effective on Gholdengo (2x) and Life Orb, possibly huge damage. Gholdengo has 194 HP. Garchomp Atk after -2, Life Orb. Need estimate damage. Garchomp Atk possible range 135-200 at level 50 (this range seems actual stat? At level 50 with IVs/EVs? Atk stat maybe 135-200? That's huge range due to possible nature/IV/EV? At level 50 base 170 Atk Garchomp can be ~165-195? They list possible range [135-200], maybe uninvested to invested. After -2 Atk, stat divided by 2? At -2, attack is 25%? Actually stat stages: -2 = 2/4 = 0.5. So Atk halved. Earthquake BP100, STAB 1.5, LO 1.3, SE 2. Damage formula: level50 factor 22. If Atk after boost maybe 100 (if original 200 ->100) or 67 (if original 135->67.5). Defense Gholdengo 115. Damage = 22 * Atk *100 /115 /50 +2 *1.5*1.3*2. For Atk=100: 22*100*100=220000 /115=1913 /50=38.3 +2=40.3 *3.9 =157.2 (plus roll) ~81% HP. For Atk=67: 22*67*100=147400/115=1282/50=25.6+2=27.6*3.9=107.7 ~55%. So Earthquake can do ~55-81% to Gholdengo. Not immune. Important correction. Gholdengo is not immune to Earthquake. Good as Gold only status immunity. Sitrus Berry if at <=50% after hit restores 25% (48.5 HP) after damage? Item activates when at 1/2 max or less after taking damage? In Showdown, Sitrus Berry restores when HP <= 50% after damage? It checks at end of turn? Actually berry activates when HP is <= 1/2 max after taking damage (during damage? It heals immediately if brought to half or below). If Earthquake does >50%, Sitrus heals 25%, net maybe -30 to -55%. If does <50%, no Sitrus until next check? It only consumes when at or below half after hit. If hit leaves at 60%, no heal. Then Gholdengo can Recover next turn if faster? But Garchomp moves first each turn.

Need choose best action. We can attack with Shadow Ball to try KO before Garchomp moves? But Garchomp moves first due speed. Unless we switch to Kingambit/Incineroar. Incineroar low and Earthquake is super effective vs Fire? Incineroar Fire/Dark: Ground is super effective vs Fire, neutral vs Dark => 2x. At 54 HP, Earthquake from -2 Atk Garchomp likely KO (maybe 2x LO). Not good to switch into Earthquake. Kingambit Dark/Steel: Ground is super effective vs Steel, neutral vs Dark => 2x. Kingambit has high HP 207, Def 140. Earthquake from Garchomp -2 Atk LO: damage formula with Def 140, Atk maybe 100: 22*100*100/140/50+2 =31.4+2? Wait 220000/140=1571/50=31.4+2=33.4 *3.9=130.3 ~63% HP. If Atk 67: 22*67*100/140/50+2 =21.0+2=23.0*3.9=89.7 ~43%. Kingambit can survive and maybe KO with Kowtow Cleave? But Kingambit speed 70 vs Garchomp 109+, Garchomp moves first. Kingambit has Sucker Punch priority if Garchomp attacks; but if Garchomp uses non-attacking move, Sucker Punch fails. Kowtow Cleave is 85 BP, ignores? It's a Dark physical move that can hit through? It has no special ignore protection? It deals damage and can lower? Actually Kowtow Cleave is a Dark-type physical move that ignores the target's stat boosts? Let's recall: Kowtow Cleave does damage and ignores target's Attack/SpA stat stages? It is like King's Shield? In Pokémon, Kowtow Cleave is a Dark-type move introduced in Gen 9; it deals damage and ignores the target's stat stat changes? I think it ignores the target's Attack and Sp. Atk stat stages (like it says "This attack ignores the target's stat stat changes"?). Need not rely. Kingambit has Supreme Overlord boost if teammates faint; none faint yet, so no boost. It can use Swords Dance but Garchomp moves first and can damage. Could switch to Kingambit to take Earthquake and then Sucker Punch/Kowtow. But Gholdengo full can Recover to stay healthy, but Garchomp will keep attacking. We need long-term plan.

We need infer opponent team. They brought Garchomp lead, likely two of corviknight, toxapex, gholdengo, dragapult, quaquaval. We need preserve win conditions. Our Gholdengo is special win condition but vulnerable to Earthquake (SE) and maybe opposing Gholdengo Good as Gold blocks status, not relevant. Kingambit late-game cleaner. Incineroar support low.

At Turn 3, Gholdengo vs Garchomp at -2 Atk/-1 SpA, 79%, Life Orb. Garchomp moves first. If we use Shadow Ball, Garchomp attacks first possibly Earthquake doing major damage; then our Shadow Ball may KO or not. If we Recover, we heal to full (or +97) but Garchomp attacks first, maybe brings us below half then Sitrus? Sequence: Gholdengo uses Recover (status) but Good as Gold makes immune to status moves, not relevant; Recover is status used by self, works. Garchomp moves first (Earthquake) then our Recover? In Showdown, moves execute in speed order; if Garchomp attacks first and damages Gholdengo, then Gholdengo's Recover still executes (unless fainted) healing 50%. If Earthquake does >50%, Gholdengo might faint before Recover. If survives, Recover heals to near full; Sitrus may also activate if <=50 after attack before Recover? Order within turn: damage, then berry? Then our move? If Gholdengo at <=50 after Earthquake, Sitrus heals 25%, then Recover heals 50% of max (not current) =97, could bring to ~72% if at 25% +25 +97 =147/194=76%. Actually if at 1 HP after EQ, Sitrus to 49.5, Recover to 146.5 (75.5%). Good. If EQ does 80%, Gholdengo at 20%, Sitrus to 45%, Recover to 142 (73%). If EQ does 55%, at 45%, Sitrus to 70%, Recover to 167 (86%). If EQ does <50% (e.g. 43%), Sitrus doesn't activate (still above half), Recover to 142? Wait if at 57% after EQ, Recover to 107% capped full? Recover heals 50% max =97, from 111 HP to 194 full. So Recover can restore full unless fainted. Since Gholdengo full, using Recover after an attack that doesn't KO brings back to full (if at >0, heal 97; if at 100 HP after EQ (52%), heal to 197 capped 194). So Recover is viable if Gholdengo can survive Earthquake. Worst-case Atk 200 -> after -2 =100, Earthquake damage ~157 (81%) leaves 37 HP, Sitrus activates to 85 HP (44%), then Recover to 182 (94%). Actually if Sitrus activates before Recover, end high. If Sitrus doesn't activate because damage <50%, Recover to full. So Recover seems safe unless Garchomp has a move that does more than 100% (e.g. Stone Edge if crit? or Fire Blast? Gholdengo is weak to Fire (Steel weak to Fire, Ghost neutral) =2x; Fire Blast SpA after -1 SpA, LO maybe could KO? Garchomp SpA possible 90-145, after -1 =0.75. Fire Blast BP120, SpA maybe 100, SpD Gholdengo 124. Damage: 22*100*120/124/50+2 =42.6+2=44.6 *1.5(STAB? Fire not STAB for Dragon/Ground)*1.3(LO)*2(SE)=44.6*3.9=174 (90%). If SpA 145 after -1=109: 22*109*120/124/50+2=46.2+2=48.2*3.9=188 (97%). Could leave low, Sitrus to 44%, Recover to 141 (73%). Not KO unless high roll/crit. Stone Edge vs Gholdengo: Rock is neutral? Steel resists Rock (0.5), Ghost neutral => 0.5, so not huge. Dragon Claw resisted by Steel (0.5) and Ghost? Dragon vs Ghost neutral, Steel resists =0.5. Poison Fang? Gholdengo immune to Poison (Steel). So Earthquake/Fire Blast are main. Gholdengo can survive likely and Recover.

But if we Recover, Garchomp remains at 79% and can keep attacking; we stall? Gholdengo has Recover PP 8, Sitrus one-time. Garchomp Life Orb recoil each attack; if it keeps using Earthquake, it takes recoil (~8% max) and Rough Skin doesn't affect Earthquake (no contact). Gholdengo can Recover indefinitely (8 PP) while Garchomp loses LO recoil each turn (~16%? Actually Life Orb recoil is 1/10 max HP after attack, ~18-21 HP per turn, ~10%). Garchomp at 79% will be at ~69 after attack, then maybe switches. But we cannot force. Shadow Ball may KO now? But Garchomp moves first and may damage us; if we survive, Shadow Ball could KO. Need calculate KO chance. Gholdengo Shadow Ball vs Garchomp at 79%. Gholdengo SpA 185, no boost. Garchomp Defense possible range 103-161. Damage formula: 22*185*80 / Def /50 +2 =? 22*185=4070; *80=325600; /50=6512; /Def +2. For Def=161: 6512/161=40.4+2=42.4 (no type effectiveness? Ghost vs Dragon/Ground neutral =1) =42% of Garchomp HP. For Def=103: 63.2+2=65.2%. With random roll 85-100%, damage range for Def=130: base 52.1, roll 44.3-52.1 =45-53% of target HP. Target at 79% HP; to KO need damage >=79% of its max. Impossible with one Shadow Ball (max ~65% if low Def, roll high). Wait damage percent is of target's max HP. Garchomp at 79%, Shadow Ball max ~65% (if Def min 103 and high roll) not enough to KO from 79 (needs 79). If Def average 130, ~50%. So Shadow Ball cannot KO now. It can bring to ~20-35%, but Garchomp moves first and may damage Gholdengo. Then maybe next turn KO if Garchomp doesn't switch. But Garchomp at low HP with Life Orb may switch out or attack. We need consider.

Make It Rain: BP120 Steel neutral, lowers SpA by 2. Damage: 22*185*120/Def/50+2 = base for Def130: 78.2+2=80.2? Wait 22*185*120=488400 /50=9768 /130=75.1 +2=77.1% (before roll) of Garchomp max. With roll 85-100 =65.5-77.1%. Target at 79%; high roll could KO if damage >=79? Max 77.1% <79, so cannot KO from 79 even max roll? If Def lower 103: 9768/103=94.8+2=96.8% max, roll high 96.8% can KO (target at 79, needs 79; yes). If Def 103-120, Make It

Garchomp (Atk -2, SpA -1, 79.8% HP) vs Gholdengo (Steel/Ghost, GoodasGold). Game says EQ is super effective on Gholdengo. I outspeed it (169 vs 93-149). Use Earthquake for max damage; even if not a KO, it chips and forces a switch. Next threats: likely Kingambit/Dragapult/Torkoal/Azumarill. Quaquaval handles physical threats, Toxapex walls special attackers like Gholdengo.

    Reasoning trace (1,305 words)
    Let me analyze the situation:

    Current state:
    - My Garchomp: 146/183 HP (79.8%), Atk -2, SpA -1, Life Orb
    - Opponent's Gholdengo: 100% HP, Steel/Ghost, GoodasGold ability, Speed 93-149

Garchomp outspeeds Gholdengo (169 vs 93-149).

    Key considerations:
    - Earthquake is super effective on Gholdengo (Ground vs Steel/Ghost - wait, let me check. Ground is NOT super effective on Steel. Actually, Ground is not very effective against Steel. Let me reconsider.

Wait, the legal actions say "earthquake | Ground, Physical, power 100, 100% accuracy, super effective on gholdengo". So it says it's super effective. But Ground vs Steel/Ghost... Ground is not very effective against Steel (4x resist). Hmm, but the game says it's super effective. Let me trust the game's data.

Actually wait - let me re-read. The legal actions say "super effective on gholdengo". I'll trust that.

But actually, Garchomp has Atk -2 and SpA -1 from Parting Shot. With Life Orb (1.3x), Earthquake at BP 100:
    - Base damage calculation with Atk -2: Atk is reduced by about 50% (stage -2 means 0.5x)
    - So effective Atk = 182 * 0.5 = 91
    - With Life Orb: 91 * 1.3 = 118.3
    - Earthquake BP 100, super effective (4x? or 2x?)

Wait, the game says "super effective" which typically means 2x in Pokémon. But Ground vs Steel is actually not very effective (0.5x). Let me re-read...

The legal actions explicitly state: "earthquake | Ground, Physical, power 100, 100% accuracy, super effective on gholdengo"

I'll trust the game's assessment. So Earthquake does super effective damage to Gholdengo.

With Atk -2 (50% of base), Life Orb (1.3x), and super effective (2x):
    - Damage = roughly (91 * 1.3 * 2) / some factor...

Actually, let me think about whether Earthquake will KO Gholdengo. Garchomp's Atk is 182, with -2 stages that's effectively 91. With Life Orb multiplier of 1.3, effective attacking stat for damage calc purposes... Actually in Pokémon, the stage modifier affects the stat used in damage calculation.

Stage -2 means the stat is multiplied by (2/(2+2)) = 0.5. So Atk becomes 91.
With Life Orb: damage multiplier 1.3x.
    Super effective: 2x.

    Rough damage estimate: (91 * 1.3 * 2 * 100) / (some HP factor)
    Gholdengo's Def is 103-161, let's say around 130 average.
    HP is 162-194, let's say ~178.

Damage ≈ (91 * 1.3 * 2 * 100) / (130 * 178/100) ... this is getting complicated. Let me just trust that the game says it's super effective and Garchomp should be able to hit hard.

Actually, with Atk -2, Garchomp might not KO Gholdengo in one hit. But Earthquake is still the best option since it's super effective.

Alternatively, I could switch to Quaquaval or Toxapex.

Let me think about what makes sense:
    - Garchomp at 79.8% HP with Atk -2 and SpA -1 is weakened
    - Gholdengo is a special attacker (SpA 137-203) that will likely hit hard
    - Earthquake is super effective on Gholdengo

If I use Earthquake, it might KO or significantly damage Gholdengo. Even if it doesn't KO, it deals good damage.

But wait - with Atk -2, the damage might not be enough to KO. Let me think...

    Actually, in Pokémon damage calculation:
    - Base damage = (2*Level/5 + 2) * BP * Atk * STAB / Def / 50 + 2
    - Level 50: (100/5 + 2) = 22
    - STAB for Dragon/Ground hitting Steel/Ghost with Ground... wait, Garchomp is Dragon/Ground. Earthquake is Ground type. No STAB since Garchomp's types are Dragon and Ground - actually yes! Ground IS one of Garchomp's types, so there IS STAB (1.5x).

Wait, but the game says "super effective on gholdengo" for earthquake. Let me just go with that.

With Atk -2: Atk stat effectively halved
    - 182 * 0.5 = 91
    - Life Orb: 1.3x damage multiplier
    - STAB: 1.5x (Ground type matches Garchomp's Ground type)
    - Super effective: 2x

    Damage ≈ 22 * 100 * 91 * 1.5 * 1.3 * 2 / (Def * 50 + 2)

    If Def is ~130: denominator = 130*50+2 = 6502
    Numerator = 22 * 100 * 91 * 1.5 * 1.3 * 2 = 22 * 100 * 91 * 3.9 = 78,438

Damage ≈ 78438 / 6502 ≈ 12 HP... that seems too low. Wait, I'm messing up the formula.

    Let me redo: Damage = (2*Level/5 + 2) * BP * Atk * STAB * TypeMod / Def / 50 + 2
    = 22 * 100 * 91 * 1.5 * 2 / 130 / 50 + 2
    = 22 * 100 * 91 * 3 / 6500 + 2
    = 22 * 100 * 273 / 6500 + 2
    = 22 * 27300 / 6500 + 2
    = 22 * 4.2 + 2
    = 92.4 + 2 = ~94

    With Life Orb: 94 * 1.3 ≈ 122

Gholdengo HP is 162-194, so ~178 average. 122 damage would bring it to about 56/178 or 56% HP. Not a KO but significant damage.

Hmm, actually I'm not sure about the exact formula. Let me just go with what makes strategic sense.

    Options:
    1. Earthquake - super effective, might deal good damage (maybe not KO)
    2. Switch to Quaquaval - Fighting type, Close Combat is super effective on Steel/Ghost? No, Fighting is not very effective against Ghost. Actually Fighting IS super effective against... let me think. Fighting vs Steel: not very effective (0.5x). Fighting vs Ghost: no effect. So Close Combat would be bad.
    3. Switch to Toxapex - Water/Poison, can wall Gholdengo's special attacks

Actually, wait. Let me reconsider the matchup:
    - Garchomp (Dragon/Ground) vs Gholdengo (Steel/Ghost): Ground is not very effective against Steel (0.5x), but the game says it's super effective. I'll trust the game.
    - Quaquaval (Water/Fighting) vs Gholdengo: Water is not very effective against Steel (0.5x). Fighting is not very effective against Steel (0.5x) and neutral to Ghost. So Close Combat would be 0.5x * 1 = 0.5x. Bad.
    - Toxapex (Poison/Water) vs Gholdengo: Water is 0.5x vs Steel. Poison is not very effective against... actually Poison is neutral to Steel and Ghost. So Gunkshot would be 0.5x * 1 = 0.5x. Also bad.

So switching doesn't give a great offensive option either. But Toxapex can wall Gholdengo's special attacks (SpD 194, Def 172).

Actually, I think the best play is to use Earthquake since it's super effective per the game. Even if it doesn't KO, it deals damage and forces a switch. Then I can bring in Quaquaval or Toxapex for the next threat.

Wait, but Garchomp has Atk -2 and SpA -1. It's quite weakened. And Life Orb is draining it (it already lost 17 HP from Life Orb on turn 2).

Let me reconsider: Should I just switch to Toxapex? Toxapex at full HP can wall Gholdengo's special attacks. Then I can bring out Quaquaval later for the physical threats.

Actually, you know what, let me just go with Earthquake. It's super effective per the game, and even if it doesn't KO, it deals damage. If Garchomp survives, great. If not, I still have two healthy Pokémon.

Hmm, but actually with Atk -2, the damage might be quite low. Let me think about whether it's worth using Garchomp now or saving it.

I'll go with Earthquake. It's the best offensive option available, and even partial damage helps. If Gholdengo switches out, I can bring in Quaquaval or Toxapex.

Actually wait - let me reconsider. The game says earthquake is "super effective on gholdengo." In standard Pokémon typing:
    - Ground vs Steel: 0.5x (not very effective)
    - Ground vs Ghost: neutral (1x)
    - Combined: 0.5x * 1 = 0.5x

So it should be NOT very effective, not super effective. But the game explicitly says "super effective." I'll trust the game's data since that's what determines actual damage in this simulation.

    Let me go with Earthquake.

Gholdengo can't KO Garchomp (Shadow Ball/Make It Rain insufficient), and Earthquake is super effective vs Steel/Ghost. Garchomp at -2 Atk/-1 SpA, 69% HP, Life Orb. Switching to Kingambit: takes EQ (2x vs Steel) but survives (~110-130 dmg into 207 HP), then threatens with Kowtow Cleave/Sucker Punch. Preserve Gholdengo as late-game win condition. Opponent has 2 unrevealed Pokémon.

    Reasoning trace (2,077 words)
Let me analyze the battle state carefully.

    Current situation:
    - My Gholdengo is active at 100% HP (194/194), item none (Sitrus Berry was consumed)
    - Opposing Garchomp is active at 69% HP, Life Orb, Rough Skin, boosts: Atk -2, SpA -1
    - Garchomp moves first (speed 109-169 vs my 104)
    - Garchomp has revealed Earthquake only

    Key facts:
    - Gholdengo is Steel/Ghost. Ground is super effective against Steel (2x). Ghost is immune to Ground? No wait - Ground hits Steel neutrally? Let me think. Ground vs Steel: Ground is super effective against Steel (2x). Ghost doesn't change Ground interaction. So Earthquake hits Gholdengo for 2x damage.

Wait, but earlier the notes say "Gholdengo is NOT immune to Earthquake (Steel/Ghost takes Ground neutrally/super effectively? Ground hits Steel for 2x)". So Earthquake is super effective against Gholdengo.

Garchomp at -2 Atk, Life Orb, 69% HP. Gholdengo at full HP.

Let me calculate damage. Garchomp Atk range 135-200 at level 50, but with -2 boost that's 0.6x. Life Orb 1.3x. Earthquake BP 100, super effective 2x against Gholdengo.

Actually, let me think about whether Gholdengo can survive. Gholdengo HP 194, Def 115, SpD 124.

Earthquake is physical, so uses Garchomp's Atk vs Gholdengo's Def.

    Garchomp Atk: let's say it's around 167 (mid range). With -2 = 0.6x = ~100. Life Orb = 1.3x.

    Damage formula at level 50:
    Damage = ((2 * 50 / 5 + 2) * Power * (Atk/Def) / 50) + 2
    = (22 * 100 * (Atk/Def) / 50) + 2
    = (44 * Atk/Def) + 2

    With Life Orb: ×1.3
    With super effective: ×2
    With -2 Atk: ×0.6

    So roughly: 44 * (Atk * 0.6 * 1.3 / Def) * 2 + 2, then ×1.3 LO again? No, Life Orb is applied once.

Let me be more careful. The damage formula:
    base = floor(floor(floor((2 * level / 5 + 2) * power * (A/D) / 50) + 2) × modifiers)

Modifiers include: STAB (1.5 if applicable), type effectiveness (2), critical, random (0.85-1.0), Life Orb (1.3 if attacker holds it), etc.

Garchomp using Earthquake: STAB applies (Ground type), so ×1.5. Super effective vs Steel ×2. Life Orb ×1.3.

    Let's say Garchomp Atk is 167 (mid), after -2 = 100.2 → 100. Gholdengo Def 115.

    (2 * 50 / 5 + 2) = 22
    22 * 100 * 100 / 115 / 50 = 22 * 100 * 100 / 5750 = 220000 / 5750 = 38.26
    + 2 = 40.26 → 40
    × STAB 1.5 = 60
    × effectiveness 2 = 120
    × Life Orb 1.3 = 156
    × random 0.85-1.0 = 132-156

So roughly 132-156 damage to Gholdengo's 194 HP. That's survivable but leaves Gholdengo at ~38-62% HP. Then Rough Skin would damage Garchomp if contact, but Earthquake doesn't make contact.

Actually wait, Gholdengo's item is "none" now (Sitrus Berry consumed). So no healing from item.

If Garchomp stays in and uses Earthquake again, Gholdengo takes heavy damage. Gholdengo can Recover to heal back.

But the question is: can Gholdengo KO Garchomp? Shadow Ball (80 BP, Ghost special) vs Garchomp (Dragon/Ground). Ghost is neutral against Dragon/Ground (1x). Gholdengo SpA 185, Garchomp SpD ~120ish.

    Shadow Ball damage: 22 * 80 * (185/120) / 50 + 2 = 22 * 80 * 1.54 / 50 + 2 = 271.36/50 + 2 = 5.43 + 2 = 7.43... wait that doesn't seem right.

    Let me redo: (2 * 50 / 5 + 2) = 22
    22 * 80 * (185/120) / 50 = 22 * 80 * 1.5417 / 50 = 2713.6 / 50 = 54.27
    + 2 = 56.27 → 56
    × Ghost STAB 1.5 = 84
    × effectiveness 1 = 84
× Life Orb? No, Gholdengo has no item.
    × random 0.85-1.0 = 71-84

Garchomp at 69% of ~199 HP = ~137 HP. Shadow Ball does ~71-84, not enough to KO.

Make It Rain (120 BP, Steel special): Steel is not very effective against Garchomp (Dragon/Ground) - Steel vs Ground is 1x, Steel vs Dragon is 1x. So neutral.
    22 * 120 * (185/120) / 50 = 22 * 120 * 1.5417 / 50 = 4068 / 50 = 81.36 + 2 = 83.36 → 83
    × Steel STAB 1.5 = 125
    × random = 106-125

Still not enough to KO Garchomp at ~137 HP. And Make It Rain lowers SpA by 2 stages.

Thunderbolt: Electric vs Ground is immune (0x). No effect.

So Gholdengo cannot KO Garchomp this turn. Garchomp will likely use Earthquake again, doing ~132-156 damage to Gholdengo. Gholdengo can Recover, but then it's a stall war where Garchomp has Life Orb recoil and Rough Skin doesn't apply to Earthquake (non-contact).

Actually, Garchomp at 69% with Life Orb - each Earthquake costs it 10% HP. So it can only use Earthquake a few times before dying to recoil. But Gholdengo also takes heavy damage.

    Options:
    1. Shadow Ball - chip Garchomp, but won't KO. Garchomp then EQs Gholdengo.
    2. Make It Rain - more damage but lowers SpA, won't KO.
    3. Recover - heal to full, but Garchomp EQs again.
    4. Switch to Incineroar (26.7% HP) - would die to Earthquake (super effective vs Fire? Ground vs Fire is 1x actually. Fire/Dark vs Ground: Ground is neutral vs Fire, super effective vs... Dark is neutral to Ground. So Ground is neutral vs Incineroar? Wait: Ground vs Fire = 1x (neutral). Ground vs Dark = 1x (neutral). So Earthquake is neutral vs Incineroar. But Incineroar is at 54/202 = 26.7%. A neutral Earthquake from -2 Atk Garchomp... let's estimate: 22 * 100 * (100/156) / 50 + 2 = 22*100*0.641/50 + 2 = 28.2 + 2 = 30.2 → 30 × STAB 1.5 = 45 × LO 1.3 = 58 × random = 49-58. Incineroar has 54 HP, so it might survive or might not. Risky.
    5. Switch to Kingambit (100% HP) - Dark/Steel. Ground vs Steel is super effective (2x), Ground vs Dark is neutral. So Earthquake is 2x vs Kingambit. Kingambit has HP 207, Def 140. -2 Atk LO Earthquake: 22 * 100 * (100/140) / 50 + 2 = 22*100*0.714/50 + 2 = 31.4 + 2 = 33.4 → 33 × STAB 1.5 = 50 × effectiveness 2 = 100 × LO 1.3 = 130 × random = 110-130. Kingambit at 207 HP would survive with ~75-97 HP left. Then Kingambit can attack back with Kowtow Cleave or Sucker Punch.

Actually, Kingambit seems like a good switch-in. It can take an Earthquake and hit back hard. Kowtow Cleave is 85 BP Dark physical, STAB, vs Garchomp (Dragon/Ground) - Dark is neutral vs Dragon/Ground (1x). Kingambit Atk 205, with Supreme Overlord boost (depends on how many Pokémon are fainted - currently none fainted, so no boost yet? Actually Supreme Overlord boosts based on number of fallen allies/fainted Pokémon on both teams? Let me recall: Supreme Overlord increases damage of Dark-type moves based on how many Pokémon have fainted in the battle (both sides combined? or just user's team?).

Actually, Supreme Overlord: "Boosts the power of Dark-type moves for each Pokémon that has fainted (on either team? or just the user's team?)." I believe it's based on the number of Pokémon that have fainted in the battle total, up to 5, giving up to 1.5x boost. Currently 0 Pokémon have fainted, so no boost.

    Kowtow Cleave damage: 22 * 85 * (205/103ish) / 50 + 2. Garchomp Def ~130ish. 22 * 85 * 1.577 / 50 = 2948 / 50 = 58.96 + 2 = 60.96 → 60 × Dark STAB 1.5 = 90 × random = 76-90. Garchomp at ~137 HP, so not a KO. But with Life Orb recoil and previous damage, Garchomp is at 69%.

Actually, Garchomp at 69% of ~199 = ~137 HP. Kowtow Cleave does 76-90, leaving Garchomp at ~47-61 HP. Not a KO but significant.

    Sucker Punch is priority but only works if Garchomp attacks. Garchomp will likely use Earthquake (attacking move), so Sucker Punch would work. Sucker Punch BP 70, priority. 22 * 70 * (205/130) / 50 + 2 = 22*70*1.577/50 + 2 = 2428/50 + 2 = 48.56 + 2 = 50.56 → 50 × 1.5 = 75 × random = 63-75. Not a KO either.

Hmm, but Kingambit switching in means Garchomp uses Earthquake first (Garchomp is faster), doing ~110-130 to Kingambit. Then Kingambit attacks.

Actually, let me reconsider. The best play might be to switch to Kingambit. Gholdengo can't KO Garchomp, and staying in means taking another Earthquake. Kingambit can take the Earthquake and threaten back.

But wait - if I switch to Kingambit, Garchomp might switch out or use Earthquake. If Garchomp uses Earthquake, Kingambit takes ~110-130 damage (survives), then Kingambit can KO or heavily damage Garchomp.

Actually, can Kingambit KO Garchomp? Garchomp at 69% (~137 HP). Kowtow Cleave does ~76-90. Not a KO. But if Garchomp is at 69% and takes Life Orb recoil from previous turns... actually Life Orb recoil happens after each attack. Garchomp has used Earthquake twice already (turns 2 and 3), so it's taken 20% HP recoil total. But the 69% already accounts for that.

If Kingambit uses Kowtow Cleave and does 76-90, Garchomp would be at ~47-61 HP. Then Garchomp might use Earthquake again (if faster) or switch.

Actually, I think switching to Kingambit is the best play. Gholdengo is taking too much from Earthquake and can't KO back. Kingambit is a better check.

Wait, but there's another consideration. Garchomp's speed is 109-169, Gholdengo is 104. Garchomp is faster. If I stay with Gholdengo and use Recover, Garchomp EQs first, then I Recover. But Gholdengo would be at ~40-60% after EQ, then Recover to ~90-100%. This could work as a stall strategy, but Garchomp has Life Orb and will eventually die to recoil, while Gholdengo has no item now (Sitrus consumed).

Actually, Gholdengo has no item now. So it can't recover except via Recover move. Garchomp has Life Orb and will take 10% recoil each Earthquake. Garchomp at 69% can take about 6-7 more Earthquakes before dying to recoil. Gholdengo can Recover each time. This is a stall war that Gholdengo wins eventually (Garchomp dies to recoil), but it takes many turns and exposes Gholdengo to other threats coming in.

But the opponent has 2 more Pokémon to bring in. If I stall with Gholdengo, the opponent might switch to something that threatens Gholdengo (like opposing Gholdengo, Dragapult, etc.).

I think switching to Kingambit is better. Kingambit threatens Garchomp with Sucker Punch (priority) or Kowtow Cleave. Even if it doesn't KO, it puts Garchomp in range of priority Sucker Punch next turn.

Actually, let me reconsider the damage. If Kingambit switches in on Earthquake:
    - Garchomp moves first (faster), uses Earthquake. Kingambit takes ~110-130 damage (2x super effective vs Steel). Kingambit at 207 → ~77-97 HP left.
    - Then Kingambit uses Kowtow Cleave or Sucker Punch.
    - Kowtow Cleave: ~76-90 damage. Garchomp at ~137 → ~47-61 HP left. Not KO.
    - Sucker Punch: ~63-75 damage (if Garchomp attacks). Garchomp at ~137 → ~62-74 HP left. Not KO.

Hmm, neither KOs. But then Garchomp is at low HP and Kingambit can Sucker Punch next turn if Garchomp attacks.

Alternatively, I could use Swords Dance on Kingambit to boost, but Garchomp would EQ again and likely KO Kingambit (2x super effective Earthquake at -2 Atk... wait, if Kingambit uses SD, Garchomp EQs next turn. Kingambit at ~77-97 HP after first EQ, second EQ does another ~110-130, which would KO).

    So SD is too risky.

I think the best move is SWITCH: kingambit. It can take a hit and threaten back, preserving Gholdengo for later.

Actually wait, let me reconsider staying with Gholdengo and using Shadow Ball. If I Shadow Ball:
    - Garchomp moves first, EQs Gholdengo for ~132-156. Gholdengo at 194 → ~38-62 HP.
    - Then Gholdengo Shadow Balls for ~71-84. Garchomp at ~137 → ~53-66 HP.
    - Gholdengo is now at low HP, vulnerable to anything.

That's bad. Gholdengo is my special win condition and shouldn't be weakened like this.

    Recover:
    - Garchomp EQs first, Gholdengo at ~38-62 HP.
    - Gholdengo Recovers to ~88-112% (capped at 100%). So back to full or near full.
    - This stalls but wastes a turn.

Switch to Kingambit seems best. Let me go with that.

Actually, one more thought: Incineroar is at 26.7% and could use Fake Out or Parting Shot, but switching Incineroar in would mean it takes an Earthquake (neutral vs Fire/Dark). At -2 Atk, Earthquake does ~
    Bonsai 2 27B used Earthquake5,451 tok · 58.9 s

Garchomp at 69.9% HP, Atk -2, SpA -1, Life Orb. Gholdengo recovered to full (GoodasGold, immune to status). EQ is 2x SE on it but won't KO now due to -2 Atk. One more EQ chips it to ~45%, then switch to Toxapex to wall its special attacks and Recover. Remaining threats: Kingambit/Dragapult/Torkoal/Azumarill (1 of 3 still unseen).

    Reasoning trace (1,319 words)
Let me analyze the current situation:

    - My Garchomp is at 128/183 HP (69.9%), Atk -2, SpA -1, Life Orb
    - Opponent's Gholdengo is at 100% HP, Steel/Ghost, GoodasGold, Recovered to full
    - Garchomp outspeeds Gholdengo (169 vs 93-149)

Garchomp's Earthquake is super effective on Gholdengo (Ground vs Steel/Ghost). Let me calculate:
    - Garchomp Atk with -2 stages: base 182, at level 50. With Life Orb and -2 Atk...
    - Actually, let me think about this differently. The opponent's Gholdengo just recovered to 100%.

    Garchomp's Earthquake on Gholdengo:
    - Ground is super effective against Steel/Ghost (2x)
    - Garchomp has Life Orb (1.3x damage multiplier)
    - Atk -2 means reduced attack

The question is whether Earthquake will KO Gholdengo at 100% HP. Given that on Turn 3, Garchomp's Earthquake brought Gholdengo from full to 27%, and now it's recovered back to 100%, another Earthquake would likely bring it to around 27% again (not a KO).

Wait, but Garchomp is at Atk -2 now. On Turn 3, it was at Atk -1 (from Intimidate) and SpA -1 (from Parting Shot). Now it's at Atk -2 (another Parting Shot? No wait, let me re-read).

    Looking at the battle log:
    - Turn 1: Garchomp got Atk -1 from Intimidate
    - Turn 2: Garchomp used Earthquake (KO'd Incineroar), then Incineroar used Parting Shot before switching out. Wait, actually looking more carefully:

    Turn 2:
    - Your Garchomp used Earthquake → KO'd Incineroar
    - Opposing Incineroar used Parting Shot → Garchomp Atk -1, SpA -1
    - Opposing Gholdengo came in

Wait, but the notes say "Atk -2" now. Let me re-read...

    Actually looking at Turn 3:
    - Your Garchomp used Earthquake (super effective) → Gholdengo at 27%
    - Opposing Gholdengo used Recover → healed to 100%

So the Atk -2 must have come from somewhere. Wait, in Turn 2, Parting Shot gave Atk -1 and SpA -1. Then Intimidate was already there giving Atk -1. So that's Atk -2 total (Intimidate + Parting Shot). And SpA -1 from Parting Shot.

    So Garchomp is at:
    - Atk -2 (Intimidate + Parting Shot)
    - SpA -1 (Parting Shot)
    - 128/183 HP (Life Orb damage each turn)

Now, should I keep using Earthquake on Gholdengo or switch?

Garchomp's Earthquake on Gholdengo at 100%:
    - Ground is 2x effective against Steel/Ghost
    - With Life Orb and -2 Atk stages...

From Turn 3, when Garchomp was at Atk -1 (Intimidate only) and SpA -1, Earthquake brought a full HP Gholdengo to 27%. Now with an additional -1 Atk stage, the damage would be lower. Let's estimate: going from -1 to -2 stages reduces attack by about 33% (from 0.67x to 0.5x of base). So if it was dealing enough to bring to 27%, now it might deal less - maybe bringing to around 40-50%.

Actually wait, let me reconsider. On Turn 3, Garchomp was at Atk -1 (just Intimidate) and SpA -1 (Parting Shot). The Earthquake brought Gholdengo from 100% to 27%. Now it's at Atk -2 (Intimidate + Parting Shot).

The damage reduction from -1 to -2 stages:
    - Stage -1: 0.67x base
    - Stage -2: 0.5x base
    So the ratio is 0.5/0.67 ≈ 0.746

If previous damage was ~73% of max HP (bringing to 27%), new damage would be ~73% × 0.746 ≈ 54%. So Gholdengo would go to about 46% HP. Not a KO.

    Options:
    1. Use Earthquake again - chips Gholdengo but won't KO
    2. Switch to Toxapex - can wall Gholdengo's special attacks, use Recover/Toxic
    3. Switch to Quaquaval - can handle physical threats

Gholdengo is a Steel/Ghost type with GoodasGold (immune to status). It has Recover and likely other moves. Its SpA range is 137-203, so it's a special attacker.

    If I switch to Toxapex:
    - Toxapex can wall Gholdengo's special attacks (Water resists Water, Poison resists... wait, Steel/Ghost)
    - Actually, what does Gholdengo hit with? It has Recover revealed. Likely moves include Flash Cannon, Shadow Ball, etc.
    - Toxapex is Poison/Water: resists Ghost (no, Ghost is neutral to Poison and Water), resists Steel (Water resists Steel 0.5x)
    - Actually: Poison resists... let me think.
      - Ghost vs Poison: neutral
      - Ghost vs Water: neutral
      - Steel vs Poison: neutral
      - Steel vs Water: 0.5x (resisted)
    - So Toxapex would resist Steel-type moves from Gholdengo but not Ghost-type moves.

    If I switch to Quaquaval:
    - Water/Fighting
    - Ghost vs Water: neutral, Ghost vs Fighting: neutral
    - Steel vs Water: 0.5x, Steel vs Fighting: 0.5x
    - So Quaquaval resists both Steel and... wait, Ghost is not resisted by either.

Actually, let me reconsider. Garchomp's Earthquake is super effective (2x) on Gholdengo. Even with reduced stats, it's dealing significant damage. But it won't KO.

The best strategy might be to switch to Toxapex to wall Gholdengo and recover, then bring out Quaquaval or Garchomp later. Or I could use Earthquake one more time to chip it down significantly before switching.

Actually, let me think about what's optimal:
    - Garchomp at 128/183 with Life Orb will lose 18 HP each turn from Life Orb damage (1/10 of max)
    - If I keep using Earthquake, I'm dealing ~54% damage per hit but losing HP from Life Orb
    - After one more EQ: Garchomp at ~110 HP, Gholdengo at ~46%
    - Then switch to Toxapex

Or I could just switch now to Toxapex. Toxapex is at 100% and can wall Gholdengo well.

Actually, I think the best play is to use Earthquake one more time to chip Gholdengo down significantly (to ~46%), then switch to Toxapex next turn. This way Gholdengo is weakened when it comes back out.

Wait, but if I switch to Toxapex now, Gholdengo might use a special move that hits hard. Let me think about what Gholdengo's moveset likely is:
    - Recover (revealed)
    - Likely: Flash Cannon, Shadow Ball, maybe Will-O-Wisp or something else

Toxapex with Black Belt... wait, Toxapex has Black Belt? That's interesting. Black Belt doubles the power of Dark-type moves. But Toxapex doesn't have a Dark move in its kit (Gunkshot is Poison, Hex is Ghost, Toxic and Recover are status). So Black Belt won't help much unless it's using Gunkshot... no, Gunkshot is Poison type.

Hmm, actually wait - does Black Belt only apply to Dark-type moves? Yes, it doubles the power of Dark-type moves. Since Toxapex doesn't have a Dark move, this item seems suboptimal for this team. But that's what we have.

Let me reconsider: Should I use Earthquake or switch?

    If I use Earthquake:
    - Gholdengo goes from 100% to ~46% (rough estimate)
    - Garchomp loses 18 HP from Life Orb → 110/183
    - Next turn, I can switch to Toxapex with a weakened Gholdengo

If I switch to Toxapex now:
    - Gholdengo at 100% hits Toxapex
    - If it uses a special move (likely Shadow Ball or similar), Toxapex takes neutral damage
    - But Toxapex has great SpD (194) and can Recover

I think using Earthquake one more time is better to weaken Gholdengo before switching. Then Toxapex can wall the weakened Gholdengo easily.

Actually, wait. Let me reconsider the damage calculation more carefully.

From Turn 3: Garchomp at Atk -1 (Intimidate), SpA -1 (Parting Shot), Life Orb. Earthquake brought full HP Gholdengo to 27%. So damage dealt was ~73% of max HP.

Now: Atk -2 (Intimidate + Parting Shot). The attack stat reduction:
    - Stage -1: multiplier is 0.67
    - Stage -2: multiplier is 0.50
    - Ratio: 0.50/0.67 = 0.746

So new damage ≈ 73% × 0.746 ≈ 54.5% of max HP. Gholdengo would go to about 45.5%.

That's still significant chip damage. Let me use Earthquake.

Actually, I want to double-check: is Ground super effective against Steel/Ghost?
    - Ground vs Steel: 2x (super effective)
    - Ground vs Ghost: neutral
    - Combined: 2x × 1 = 2x

Yes, Ground is super effective on Gholdengo. The battle log confirms "It was super effective" on both turns.

I'll go with Earthquake to chip Gholdengo down further before switching.

We need answer exactly format. Need decide action. Let's analyze battle state.

We are Kingambit active vs Garchomp active at 60% HP, boosts atk -2 spa -1, item Life Orb, ability Rough Skin. Our Kingambit at 95/207 (45.9%), item Life Orb, ability Supreme Overlord (no fainted allies so +0%? Actually each fainted ally up to 5; none fainted, so 10% more power per fainted ally = 0). Speed: Garchomp moves first (109-169 vs Kingambit 70). Garchomp revealed only Earthquake but likely has other moves (maybe Fire Fang, Stone Edge, etc). At -2 Atk Life Orb Earthquake vs Kingambit (Dark/Steel) is super effective (2x). Need estimate damage. Garchomp Atk after -2: possible range 135-200 at level 50 before boost? The stat range likely at level 50 with nature/IVs? At -2, Atk becomes 67.5-100 (if range includes nature). Earthquake BP100, Life Orb 1.3, STAB 1.5, super effective 2. Against Kingambit HP 207, Def 140. Damage roughly floor(floor(floor(2*50/5+2)*100*Atk/Def)/50)+2 *1.5*2*1.3 etc. Let's approximate max Atk 100 after -2? Base damage = (22*100*100/140)/50+2 = (220000/140)/50+2 =1571.4/50+2=31.4+2=33.4 ->33. Modifiers STAB 1.5, SE 2, LO 1.3 =3.9 =>130.2, plus random 85-100% =>110-130. Min Atk 68 => damage ~75-89. Kingambit at 95 HP could be KOed by max roll (~130) or survive min (~75-89) with 6-20 HP. Previous turn Kingambit took EQ at 95/207 from 60% Garchomp? Log: Kingambit came in, Garchomp used Earthquake super effective, Kingambit at 95/207, Garchomp at 60% from Life Orb. That means Kingambit took ~112 HP (from 207 to 95) at Garchomp 69%? Wait Turn 4: Gholdengo used Recover, then Turn 4 Kingambit came in (presumably after Gholdengo turn? Actually turn 4 log: Your Kingambit came in; Opposing Garchomp used Earthquake; Kingambit at 95/207; Opposing Garchomp at 60% from Life Orb. It seems Garchomp used Earthquake on switch-in Kingambit and took Life Orb recoil, ending at 60%. Kingambit took ~112 damage. That was at Garchomp 69%? Atk -2, Life Orb. So Kingambit can survive one more EQ maybe at low HP (95 -> negative if similar 112). Actually if same damage ~112, Kingambit faints (95-112). But damage varies; previous was likely high roll. Need not risk if can KO now.

Kingambit moves: Kowtow Cleave BP85 Dark physical no accuracy check, STAB, Supreme Overlord no boost, Life Orb. vs Garchomp Dragon/Ground: Dark is neutral (1x). Garchomp HP 60% of ~183-215 = 110-129 HP. Kingambit Atk 205, Life Orb 1.3, STAB 1.5. Damage approx base = (22*85*205/Def)/50+2. Def Garchomp range 103-161. Might not KO min HP 110? 82-97 <110, so not reliable vs high Def. But Garchomp at 60% after Life Orb recoil; HP could be 110-129. Kowtow Cleave may KO if Def lower or roll high, not guaranteed vs high Def. Ironhead BP80 Steel STAB vs Dragon/Ground neutral? Steel vs Dragon neutral, vs Ground neutral =1x. Less power than Kowtow (80 vs 85) but same STAB? Kingambit Dark/Steel, Ironhead STAB steel, neutral vs Garchomp. Kowtow has higher BP and no accuracy check; Ironhead has flinch chance but lower. Sucker Punch priority +1 BP70 Dark STAB, fails if Garchomp not attacking. Since Garchomp moves first and likely attacks (Earthquake) unless switches. Sucker Punch could KO if Garchomp attacks: damage approx base (22*70*205/Def)/50+2. Def 103: (315700/103=3065;/50=61.3+2=63.3)*1.95=123.4 random 105-123; may KO min HP 110 but not max 129 if low roll. Def 161: base=(315700/161=1961;/50=39.2+2=41.2)*1.95=80.3 random 68-80, no KO. But if Garchomp attacks, Kingambit takes EQ first? Priority: Sucker Punch +1 vs Garchomp's Earthquake no priority; Garchomp is faster but Sucker Punch goes first due priority. If Sucker Punch KOes, Garchomp doesn't move, so no EQ damage/recoil? If fails (Garchomp switches or uses non-attacking), Kingambit takes no damage? Sucker Punch fails if target is not attacking; if Garchomp switches out, does Sucker Punch fail? In Showdown, if target switches out before move? Sucker Punch fails if target chooses a non-damaging move or switches? I think Sucker Punch fails if the target is not using an attacking move that turn, including switching? In games, if target switches out, Sucker Punch fails? It checks if target's move is status or if target is switching? In Pokémon, Sucker Punch fails if the target chooses a non-attacking move; if the target switches out, I believe the move fails because the target is not attacking? Need not rely.

Swords Dance: Garchomp moves first and likely KOes Kingambit with Earthquake before boost. Bad unless Garchomp is forced out? Not.

Switch to Gholdengo (100%): Gholdengo is Steel/Ghost, takes Earthquake neutrally? Ground vs Steel is super effective (2x), vs Ghost neutral, so 2x. It previously survived -2 Life Orb Earthquake at 54 then Sitrus to 102 and Recover. Now full HP can survive and Recover/Shadow Ball. But Garchomp at 60% can be chipped. However Kingambit is at 45.9 and likely cannot survive another EQ. Switching to Gholdengo avoids Kingambit death and can Recover if needed. But Gholdengo cannot reliably KO Garchomp; Shadow Ball vs Garchomp (Ghost neutral vs Dragon/Ground? Ghost vs Dragon neutral, vs Ground neutral =1) at SpA 185 (no item now? It had Sitrus Berry consumed? Item none now after Sitrus? Actually Gholdengo item: none? It used Sitrus Berry earlier, so item consumed. At full HP via Recover. Gholdengo can maybe KO with Make It Rain if SpD not too high, but then becomes vulnerable and SpA -2. Garchomp at -1 SpA already; if it stays and uses Earthquake on Gholdengo, Gholdengo full HP can survive (~? -2 Atk LO EQ vs Steel/Ghost 2x: similar to Kingambit but Gholdengo HP194 Def115. Max damage maybe base Atk100: (22*100*100/115)/50+2 = (220000/115=1913;/50=38.3+2=40.3)* modifiers STAB1.5*SE2*LO1.3=3.9 =>157 random 133-157. Fire Fang Fire vs Steel resists (0.5), Stone Edge Rock vs Steel neutral? Rock vs Steel neutral? Actually Rock vs Steel is neutral (1) (Steel resists Rock? Wait type chart: Rock is not very effective against Steel? Let's recall: Rock vs Steel: not very effective? Type effectiveness: Rock is super effective vs Flying, Bug, Fire, Ice; not very effective vs Fighting, Ground, Steel. Yes Rock vs Steel = 0.5. Fire vs Steel =0.5. So Gholdengo resists common coverage. Good.

But we need win condition. Kingambit is a cleaner but at 45.9 vs Garchomp faster. If we switch to Gholdengo, we can maybe force Garchomp out or chip. Opponent has 2 unrevealed; Garchomp at 60% Life Orb, -2 Atk -1 SpA. It may switch out to preserve. If it stays, Earthquake on Gholdengo; Gholdengo can Recover or attack. Since Gholdengo cannot be poisoned? Good as Gold blocks status moves? Ability Good as Gold makes it immune to status moves (like Toxic, Thunder Wave, Spore) and also immune to? It blocks status moves, not damage. It is immune to poison. Toxapex etc.

Question: choose one action this turn. We need consider best. We have Kingambit active at 95 HP, Garchomp at 60%, faster. If we attack with Kowtow Cleave, Garchomp moves first with Earthquake and likely KOes Kingambit (previous similar damage took Kingambit from 207 to 95; now at 95, another EQ of ~112 KOes). Even if Kingambit survives low roll, it will be at low HP and Life Orb recoil after attack. If Kowtow Cleave KOes Garchomp, then Garchomp still moves first? Speed: Garchomp moves first unless priority. Kowtow no priority. If Garchomp uses Earthquake first and KOes Kingambit, Kingambit's move doesn't happen. If Garchomp's Earthquake doesn't KO (low roll) then Kingambit can attack and maybe KO. But risky. Sucker Punch has priority and goes before Garchomp's Earthquake. If Garchomp attacks (likely Earthquake), Sucker Punch may KO or damage; if it KOes, Kingambit avoids EQ and Life Orb recoil? It still loses Life Orb recoil after Sucker Punch if it attacks (1/10 max HP =20.7 -> ~21 HP), so Kingambit would go from 95 to ~74 if Sucker Punch used and KOes. If Sucker Punch fails (Garchomp switches or uses status), Kingambit takes no damage? Actually if Sucker Punch fails because target not attacking, does user still take Life Orb recoil? No, if move fails, no damage dealt, no recoil? In games, if Sucker Punch fails, no recoil. But if Garchomp switches out, Sucker Punch fails? Need know. If it fails, Kingambit remains at 95 and opponent brings in a new Pokémon; we can react next turn. But if Garchomp stays and uses Earthquake, Sucker Punch goes first; if it doesn't KO, Garchomp then uses Earthquake and likely KOes Kingambit (95 - ~112). Sucker Punch damage vs Garchomp maybe not KO vs high Def/HP. Then Kingambit dies. Kowtow Cleave has higher damage but no priority; Garchomp moves first and likely KOes. Ironhead lower. Swords Dance suicidal.

Switch to Gholdengo seems safest: full HP Gholdengo can tank Earthquake and Recover/attack. But if Garchomp predicts switch and uses Stone Edge/Fire Fang? Gholdengo resists both (Rock 0.5 vs Steel? Fire 0.5 vs Steel; Ghost neutral? Fire Fang is Fire physical, Steel resists 0.5; also Gholdengo Ghost type immune to Normal? not relevant). Garchomp at -2 Atk, Stone Edge vs Gholdengo: Stone Edge BP100 Rock vs Steel/Ghost: Rock vs Steel 0.5, vs Ghost neutral =>0.5. Damage low. Fire Fang 0.5. So Gholdengo is safe. It can Recover to full if needed, or attack. However Gholdengo's item is none (Sitrus consumed), no Leftovers. It can Recover PP 7 left. It can switch out later to Kingambit when Garchomp weakened or when opponent sends slower threat.

But we need long-term plan: Kingambit is late-game cleaner; Garchomp at -2 Atk/-1 SpA, 60%, Life Orb. Gholdengo can wall Garchomp's Earthquake? Wait earlier notes incorrectly said Gholdengo immune to Earthquake; actually Steel/Ghost takes Ground neutrally? Let's verify type effectiveness: Ground vs Steel: super effective (2x). Ground vs Ghost: immune? Ghost is immune to Normal and Fighting only. Ground hits Ghost normally. So Ground vs Steel/Ghost = 2 * 1 = 2x. Yes super effective. Gholdengo can survive one -2 LO Earthquake from full (estimated 93-157 max; max could KO if high roll and high Atk? Max 157 <194, so survives even max. Good). It can Recover off damage. It can threaten with Make It Rain (possible KO if SpD low) or Shadow Ball. But Make It Rain lowers SpA and has limited PP; Shadow Ball may not KO. Gholdengo is a good check but not a reliable KO. Kingambit can KO with priority Sucker Punch if Garchomp attacks, but may not KO vs bulky; if it doesn't KO, Kingambit dies to EQ. Could switch Kingambit out now to Gholdengo, preserve Kingambit for later when Garchomp is weakened or faster threats gone. Opponent has Dragapult/Quaquaval faster; Kingambit with Sucker Punch can handle Dragapult if it attacks, but Dragapult may use status/Dragon Darts? Kingamb

    Reasoning trace (796 words)
Let me analyze the current situation:

    - My Garchomp is at 110/183 HP (60.1%), Atk -2, SpA -1, Life Orb
    - Opponent's Kingambit is at 45% HP, Dark/Steel
    - I outspeed Kingambit (169 vs 63-112)

Kingambit is Dark/Steel. Earthquake is super effective on it (Ground vs Steel). Let me calculate:
    - Garchomp's base Attack at level 50: 182, with -2 stages: 182 * (1/4) = 45.5... wait, let me recalculate.

    Actually, with -2 stages, the multiplier is 1/4 of base. So effective Atk = 182 * 0.25 = 45.5, rounded to 45 or 46.

Wait, actually in Pokémon, stat stages work differently. At -2, the multiplier is (2-2+2)/(2+2) = 2/4 = 0.5... no wait.

    The formula for stat stages:
    - +1: 1.5x
    - +2: 2x
    - -1: 0.67x
    - -2: 0.5x
    - -3: 0.4x
    - -4: 0.33x

    So at -2, the multiplier is 0.5. Effective Atk = 182 * 0.5 = 91.

    With Life Orb (1.3x), effective damage multiplier = 91 * 1.3 = 118.3

Earthquake BP 100, super effective (2x):
    Damage = (2*Level/5 + 2) * BP * Atk / Def * STAB * SE * modifiers

Wait, let me use the standard formula:
    Base damage = ((2*50/5 + 2) * 100 * 91) / Kingambit's Defense

    Kingambit's Defense range: 126-189. Let's say around 157 (midpoint).

    Base = (22 * 100 * 91) / 157 = 200,200 / 157 ≈ 1275

Then STAB: Dragon/Ground vs Dark/Steel. Ground is not STAB for Garchomp... wait, Garchomp is Dragon/Ground. Earthquake is Ground type, so it IS STAB (Ground). So STAB = 1.5x.

SE: Ground vs Steel = super effective = 2x.

    So damage before modifiers = 1275 * 1.5 * 2 = 3825

    With Life Orb: 3825 * 1.3 = 4972.5

    Kingambit's HP at 45%: Let's say max HP is around 191 (midpoint of 175-207). 45% = ~86 HP.

So my Earthquake would deal way more than 86 HP damage. It should KO Kingambit easily.

Wait, but I need to account for the fact that Kingambit might have Defiant or Supreme Overlord. Let me check:
    - If Defiant: Attack is raised by 2 for each stat lowered. Garchomp has Atk -2 and SpA -1. But Defiant only raises based on stats being lowered, not which specific stat. Actually, Defiant says "This Pokemon's Attack is raised by 2 for each of its stats that is lowered by a foe." So if Kingambit has any stat lowered, its Attack goes up. But I haven't lowered any of Kingambit's stats yet (Parting Shot was on Garchomp).

Wait, actually Parting Shot lowered Garchomp's Atk and SpA. It didn't lower Kingambit's stats. So Defiant wouldn't trigger unless something else lowers Kingambit's stats.

    - Supreme Overlord: 10% more power for each fainted ally. Incineroar is at 26% (not fainted), Gholdengo is at 100%. So no fainted allies yet.

So Kingambit should be vulnerable to my Earthquake. Let me recalculate more carefully.

Actually, I realize I should just go with Earthquake. It's super effective, I outspeed, and it should KO Kingambit at 45% HP even with my -2 Atk.

After KOsing Kingambit, the opponent will switch to one of their remaining Pokémon (Gholdengo is still in the party at 100%, or they might have a 3rd Pokémon I haven't seen yet). Wait, the notes say "The opponent brought 3 of the 6 it showed at team preview: all have been seen." So their three are Incineroar, Gholdengo, and Kingambit. After KOsing Kingambit, they'll switch to Gholdengo (at 100%).

So my plan: Earthquake to KO Kingambit, then I'll need to deal with Gholdengo. Toxapex would be good against Gholdengo (Poison/Water resists Steel and Ghost... wait, does it? Poison resists... let me think. Gholdengo is Steel/Ghost.

    Toxapex is Poison/Water:
    - vs Steel: Water resists Steel (0.5x), Poison resists Steel (0.5x) → 0.25x
    - vs Ghost: Water resists Ghost? No, Water doesn't resist Ghost. Poison resists Ghost? No. Actually, let me check:
      - Water is not very effective against Ghost (neutral)
      - Poison is not very effective against Ghost (neutral)

    Wait, actually:
    - Steel/Ghost takes from Water: Water vs Steel = 0.5x, Water vs Ghost = 1x → 0.5x
    - Steel/Ghost takes from Poison: Poison vs Steel = 0.5x, Poison vs Ghost = 1x → 0.5x

So Toxapex resists Gholdengo's moves (if it hits with Steel or Ghost). But Gholdengo's main attack is probably special (SpA 137-203). It might use moves like... well, we only know it has Recover. Its other moves are unknown.

Actually, let me just focus on the immediate action: Earthquake to KO Kingambit. That's clearly the best move.

Let me also consider: should I switch to Toxapex now? No, because I can KO Kingambit with Earthquake and then deal with whatever comes next. Garchomp at 60% HP is still useful.

    Decision: MOVE: earthquake

We need answer exactly format. Need decide action. Let's analyze battle state carefully.

We are playing Pokémon Showdown battle: Pokémon Champions singles? one Pokémon field per side; each brought 3 of 6; level 50; Mega instead of Tera. We have active Gholdengo at 77/194 (39.7%), item none (Sitrus Berry consumed? It says item none; earlier Sitrus Berry healed at turn 3, now item none likely consumed). Opponent active Garchomp at 50% HP, item Life Orb, ability Rough Skin, boosts atk -2 spa -1. Revealed move Earthquake only. Speed: our Gholdengo 104 vs Garchomp possible 109-169, so Garchomp moves first unless priority. Our moves: Shadow Ball 80 special, Make It Rain 120 special lowers user SpA by 2, Thunderbolt no effect on Garchomp (Ground immune), Recover status heals 50%. Switches: Incineroar 26.7%, Kingambit 45.9%.

Need choose one action. We need plan ahead. We need infer opponent team: brought Garchomp, Corviknight, Toxapex, Gholdengo, Dragapult, Quaquaval; 2 more to come. We have Incineroar, Gholdengo, Kingambit. Opponent Garchomp at 50%, -2 Atk -1 SpA, Life Orb, Rough Skin. It has used Earthquake repeatedly. It likely has other moves (maybe Stone Edge, Fire Blast, Iron Head, Dragon Claw, Swords Dance?) but revealed only Earthquake. At -2 Atk, Earthquake vs Gholdengo: Gholdengo Steel/Ghost, Ground is super effective vs Steel (2x), neutral vs Ghost? Ground hits Steel 2x, Ghost immune? Wait Ground is immune to Flying, not Ghost. Ghost does not resist Ground. Steel is weak to Ground. So Steel/Ghost takes 2x from Ground. Yes earlier notes incorrectly said neutral? Actually Ground vs Steel = 2x, vs Ghost = 1x, so 2x. Gholdengo survived -2 Life Orb Earthquake from ~? Turn 3 at 54 then Sitrus to 102, Recover to full. Turn 5 at 77 after EQ. So -2 LO EQ does around 117 damage into 194 (60%). At 50% Garchomp with Life Orb recoil and maybe can KO Gholdengo? Let's estimate: Level 50 Garchomp Atk after -2. Possible Atk range 135-200 before boost? With nature/IV/EV unknown. At -2, Atk = 0.6325? Actually stat stages: -2 = 2/4 = 0.5 of original? In Pokémon, stat stage -2 multiplies by 2/4 = 0.5. Yes Atk halved. If base Atk stat at level 50 maybe 167 (if 252+), after -2 = 83.5. Life Orb Earthquake 100 BP vs Gholdengo (defense stat maybe 115 with HP 194). Damage roughly: (2*50/5+2)=22; *100*Atk/Def /50 +2. If Atk 84, Def 115: 22*100*84/115=1603; /50=32.1; +2=34.1; *2 (SE)=68.2; *1.3 LO=88.7; random 0.85-1 = 75-89. Not KO from full (194), but from 77 could KO if high roll (~89 >77). Earlier turn 5 Gholdengo at 77 after EQ from full? It was at 102 after Sitrus then Recover to 194 turn3, turn4 switched to Kingambit, turn5 Gholdengo came in and took EQ to 77. So damage ~117 into 194? That suggests Atk higher or my calc off due to level 50 formula? Let's recalc Showdown damage: floor(floor(floor(floor((2*level/5 + 2) * power * A/D) / 50) + 2) * modifiers). Level 50: 22. A after -2 maybe if Garchomp Atk stat 200 (max possible range includes Atk 135-200 possible range due to IV/nature? At level 50 with 252 Atk, Adamant Garchomp Atk = 190? Let's calculate: base 130, IV31, EV252, nature +10%: stat = floor((floor((2*130+31+floor(252/4))*50/100)+5)*1.3) = floor((floor((260+31+63)*0.5)+5)*1.3) = floor((floor(354*0.5=177)+5=182)*1.3=236.6 floor 236? That seems too high; wait level 50 stat formula: floor((2*base+IV+EV/4)*level/100 +5) = floor((354)*0.5 +5)=floor(177+5)=182; nature = floor(182*1.3)=236. But possible range given Atk 135-200, not 236. Hmm in Pokémon Champions maybe stats are different? They show possible range [Atk 135-200] for Garchomp at level 50. That's lower than standard? Maybe because not all EVs? Actually level 50 base 130 with 31 IV no EVs neutral: floor((354)*0.5+5)=182. With negative nature 158. With 252 positive 236. Range 135-200 suggests maybe IVs 0-31, EVs 0-252? Min base 130 level50: floor((260+0+0)*0.5+5)=135; max with 31 IV 252 EV positive nature: floor((354)*0.5+5)=182 *1.3=236, not 200. Maybe they cap? Not important.

Given Gholdengo at 77, Garchomp faster and Earthquake likely can KO if high roll. We need act. Options:
    - Recover: heal to ~174 (50% of max =97, 77+97=174). But Garchomp moves first and may KO before Recover. Since Garchomp is faster, if it uses Earthquake, Gholdengo at 77 likely takes ~80-117 and may faint. If it faints, no Recover. If it doesn't KO (maybe due to -2 and Sitrus consumed? no item now), Recover after could heal. But risky. Gholdengo is our only switch-in to Earthquake? Incineroar is weak to Ground (Fire/Dark takes 2x) and at 54, would be KOed. Kingambit is Steel/Dark, Ground 2x, at 95; -2 LO EQ maybe around 110-130, could KO or leave low. Earlier notes said Kingambit takes EQ (~110-130 dmg into 207 HP) survives from full? At 45.9% (95 HP), EQ likely KOes. So switching to Kingambit is bad if Garchomp uses EQ. Switch to Incineroar also bad (weak, low HP). Shadow Ball/Make It Rain: we move second; Garchomp may KO us before attack. If it doesn't KO, Make It Rain has high chance to KO? Garchomp at 50%, -1 SpA, our SpA 185. Make It Rain 120 Steel vs Garchomp (Dragon/Ground) neutral? Steel vs Dragon = 1/2? Wait Steel is not very effective against Dragon (0.5), and vs Ground = 1. So Make It Rain is resisted by Dragon (0.5), neutral to Ground => 0.5. Shadow Ball Ghost vs Dragon/Ground neutral (1) (Ghost neutral to Dragon, Ground? Ghost vs Ground neutral). Make It Rain power 120 *0.5 =60 effective, Shadow Ball 80. Shadow Ball likely better despite lower power because Make It Rain resisted and lowers SpA. But Garchomp moves first; if it survives our attack, can KO next. Also Garchomp has Rough Skin only on contact; our special moves no contact. Life Orb recoil each turn. At 50% with Life Orb, after using Earthquake it loses 10% max HP. If it stays in and attacks, it will be at ~40% after recoil (if at 50, loses 10% max = to 40). It might be within range of Make It Rain? But we move second. If Gholdengo survives EQ, Make It Rain could KO a 40% Garchomp? Effective power 60 vs Garchomp HP maybe 183-215, at 40% ~73-86 HP. Damage from SpA 185 after maybe -1? Our SpA not boosted. Make It Rain 120 resisted 0.5: damage roughly level50: 22*120*185/Def(103-161)/50+2. If Def 132 average: 22*120*185=488400 /132=3700 /50=74 +2=76; *0.5=38; random ~32-38. Not KO 73 HP. If Def lower 103: 22*120*185=488400/103=4741/50=94.8+2=96.8*0.5=48. Still not KO. Shadow Ball 80 vs SpD 94-150: 22*80*185=325600 /120=2713/50=54.3+2=56.3 random 48-56. Not KO. So cannot KO Garchomp at 50. Notes said cannot reliably KO at 79% from full; at 50 maybe Make It Rain? Still likely not KO due to resist. Shadow Ball no.

Need think strategically. We have three Pokémon: Incineroar (low, Intimidate, Fake Out, Parting Shot, Flare Blitz, Snarl), Gholdengo (active, Good as Gold immune to status, Recover PP 7/8, Make It Rain PP 8/8 low), Kingambit (45.9%, Life Orb, Supreme Overlord, Kowtow Cleave, Sucker Punch, SD, Iron Head). Opponent Garchomp at 50%, -2 Atk -1 SpA, Life Orb, Rough Skin, faster. It likely will use Earthquake again. We need choose action to maximize win. Since Garchomp moves first and can KO Gholdengo at 77? Need determine if Gholdengo can survive. Earlier turn 5: Gholdengo came in at full? Actually turn 5: Your Gholdengo came in; Opposing Garchomp used Earthquake; super effective; Your Gholdengo is at 77/194 HP; Opposing Garchomp at 50% from Life Orb. That means Gholdengo switched in (maybe from Kingambit?) and took EQ to 77. It was at full before switch? Turn 4 Kingambit came in and took EQ to 95. Turn 5 Gholdengo came in (presumably from Kingambit? Wait turn 4: Your Kingambit came in; Opposing Garchomp used Earthquake; Kingambit at 95. Turn 5: Your Gholdengo came in; Opposing Garchomp used Earthquake; Gholdengo at 77. So Gholdengo switched into EQ at full and took ~117 damage (60%). At 77 now, another EQ likely KO (damage ~117 >77). Unless damage roll lower (~75) leaving 2-49. Possible but risky. Good as Gold makes it immune to status, but Earthquake is not status. Rough Skin damages contact attackers, not relevant.

If we Recover, Garchomp moves first: if EQ KOes, we lose Gholdengo. If not KO (low roll), we heal to ~174 and can attack next. But Garchomp at 50 after recoil to 40; next turn it may EQ again (could KO from 174? likely not if -2 LO EQ ~117, leaves ~57; then we can attack). But Garchomp might switch out to one of unrevealed (Corviknight/Toxapex/Gholdengo/Dragapult/Quaquaval) to avoid Recover/prediction. If we Recover and it switches, we gain health but lose momentum; active Gholdengo vs unknown. Could be okay but Gholdengo is not great vs Dragapult (faster, Ghost/Dragon; Shadow Ball neutral? Dragapult Ghost resists Ghost? Ghost vs Ghost = 0.5, Dragon neutral => 0.5; Dragapult can Draco Meteor/Dragon Dart etc). vs opposing Gholdengo, Good as Gold both, Make It Rain resisted? Steel vs Steel 0.5, Shadow Ball neutral? Ghost vs Steel neutral? Actually Ghost is neutral to Steel? Yes Ghost vs Steel =1. But opposing Gholdengo may have Recover. vs Corviknight, Gholdengo immune to poison? Corviknight Flying/Steel; Gholdengo can Thunderbolt (2x vs Flying) but Corviknight may body press/iron head. vs Toxapex, Gholdengo can Thunderbolt? Toxapex Poison/Water: Electric neutral? Electric vs Poison neutral, vs Water 2 => 2x; but Toxapex has Regenerator and high SpD, can Toxic (but Good as Gold immune to status), Haze, Knock Off? Gholdengo can make progress but Toxapex can switch. vs Quaquaval Water/Fighting: Gholdengo resists Water? Steel resists? Ghost resists? Gholdengo takes Water neutral? Steel resists Water (0.5), Ghost resists? Ghost vs Water neutral; so 0.5. Fighting vs Steel 0.5, vs Ghost immune. So Gholdengo resists both Water and Fighting? Water vs Steel =0.5, vs Ghost=1 =>0.5; Fighting vs Steel=0.5, vs Ghost=0 => immune. Good. But Quaquaval can Ice Spinner? unknown.

Alternative: Switch to Kingambit now. Garchomp moves first with EQ. Kingambit at 95 HP, Steel/Dark, Ground 2x. -2 Life Orb EQ likely damage? If it did ~117 to Gholdengo (HP 194, Def 115), to Kingambit HP 207 Def 140: damage roughly proportional HP/Def? Gholdengo took 117/194=60%. Kingambit with higher Def and HP: maybe 117 * (115/140)*(194/207)? =117*0.821*0.937=90. So Kingambit at 95 might survive with ~5 HP if damage 90, or KO if higher. Earlier notes said Kingambit takes EQ (~110-130 dmg into 207 HP) survives from full (~45-60%). At 45.9% (95 HP), EQ likely KOes if damage >95. It might be borderline. If Kingambit survives at low HP, it can use Kowtow Cleave (85 Dark, never misses? Kowtow Cleave ignores? It deals damage and lowers? It's a physical move that can hit through? It has high damage) or Sucker Punch priority. Garchomp at 50% after recoil to 40; Kingambit Spe 70 vs Garchomp 109-169, so Garchomp moves first next turn too unless it switches. Kingambit could KO Garchomp with Kowtow Cleave? Dark vs Dragon/Ground neutral (1) (Dark neutral to Dragon, 1 vs Ground). BP85, Atk 205 Life Orb Supreme Overlord (if all? Supreme Overlord boosts based on fallen allies; none fallen? We have no fainted yet? Actually all three alive. Supreme Overlord boosts when party members fainted; none, so no boost). Damage: level50 22*85*205/Def(103-161)/50+2. If Def 132: 22*85*205=382850/132=2900/50=58+2=60; *1.3 LO=78; random 66-78. Garchomp at 40% HP (~73-86) maybe high roll KO, low roll not. If Garchomp at 50 before recoil? Sequence: if we switch to Kingambit, Garchomp uses EQ first (may KO Kingambit). If Kingambit survives, Garchomp takes Life Orb recoil from its attack immediately after? In Showdown, Life Orb recoil happens after attack, so Garchomp goes from 50 to 40 before Kingambit's move. Then Kingambit moves (slower

After KO, expect switch to Incineroar or Kingambit. Quaquaval ready for physical threats; Toxapex for special walls.

    Reasoning trace (1,071 words)
Let me analyze the current situation:

    - My Garchomp is at 92/183 (50.3%) HP, Atk -2, SpA -1, Life Orb
    - Opponent's Gholdengo is at 39% HP, GoodasGold, Steel/Ghost
    - I outspeed Gholdengo (169 vs 93-149)

Garchomp's Earthquake is super effective on Gholdengo (Ground > Steel? Wait, no. Ground is NOT super effective on Steel. Let me reconsider.

Actually wait - the battle log says "It was super effective" for Earthquake on Gholdengo multiple times. And the legal actions say "super effective on gholdengo". So in this game's mechanics, Earthquake IS super effective on Gholdengo. That's unusual since normally Ground is not very effective on Steel... but wait, Ghost type - Ground is neutral to Ghost. Steel resists Ground. But the game says it's super effective. Let me just go with what the game says.

Actually, looking more carefully at Pokémon typing:
    - Ground vs Steel: Not Very Effective (0.5x)
    - Ground vs Ghost: Neutral (1x)
    - So Ground vs Steel/Ghost should be 0.5x total

But the game explicitly states "super effective on gholdengo" in the legal actions and the battle log confirms it was super effective multiple times. I'll trust the game's mechanics here.

Wait, let me re-read. The battle log says:
    - Turn 2: Earthquake on Incineroar - "It was super effective" (Ground vs Fire/Dark = 1x... hmm, that doesn't work either)
    - Turn 3: Earthquake on Gholdengo - "It was super effective"
    - Turn 4: Earthquake on Kingambit - "It was super effective" (Ground vs Dark/Steel should be 0.5x)
    - Turn 5: Earthquake on Gholdengo - "It was super effective"

This is confusing but the game says it's super effective, so I'll go with that. Maybe there's some special mechanic or the type matchups are different in this version.

Actually wait - maybe I'm wrong about Ground vs Steel. Let me think again... No, Ground is definitely not very effective on Steel in standard Pokémon. But the game clearly states it's super effective here. I'll trust the game.

    So my options:
    1. Earthquake (super effective, BP 100) - should KO Gholdengo at 39% HP? Let me estimate: Garchomp Atk is reduced by 2 stages from Intimidate x2 (Incineror and Parting Shot). Base Atk 182 with Life Orb. With -2 Atk, effective Atk is roughly 182 * (1/3) ≈ 60... wait no. Each stage reduces by 50% of the base. So -1 = 2/3, -2 = 1/3. So effective Atk ≈ 182/3 ≈ 60.7. With Life Orb: 60.7 * 1.3 ≈ 79.

Gholdengo at 39% HP. If its max HP is around 162-194, let's say ~178. At 39%, that's about 70 HP remaining.

Earthquake damage: (2*79*100/178) * STAB(1.3? No, Ground isn't STAB for Dragon/Ground... wait, Garchomp IS Ground type! So STAB applies. Let me recalculate.

    Actually in Pokémon damage formula: Damage = ((2*Level/5+2) * Power * Atk / Def) / 50 + 2
With STAB multiplier of 1.5 for matching type.

But I don't need to calculate exactly. The game has been showing Earthquake as super effective on Gholdengo, and at 39% HP with my reduced stats, it might or might not KO. Let me think about what happened before:
    - Turn 3: Gholdengo was hit by EQ and went to 27%, then recovered to 100%
    - Turn 5: Gholdengo was hit by EQ and is now at 39%

So one EQ from ~100% brings it to 39%. That means another EQ should definitely KO it (39% → would be well below 0%).

Wait, but my Atk has been reduced further. In Turn 3, I had -1 Atk (from Intimidate). Now I have -2 Atk (Intimidate + Parting Shot). So my damage is lower now. But Gholdengo is at 39%, and in Turn 5 with -2 Atk it went from 100% to 39%. So another EQ should definitely KO it.

Actually wait, let me re-read the turns:
    - Turn 3: Garchomp used Earthquake on Gholdengo → Gholdengo at 27%, then healed to 52% (Sitrus), then Recovered to 100%
    - Turn 5: Garchomp used Earthquake on Gholdengo → Gholdengo at 39%

So from 100% to 39% with one EQ. Another EQ should definitely KO it since 39% is well below the damage threshold.

So I should use Earthquake to KO Gholdengo. After that, the opponent will switch to their remaining Pokémon (Torkoal or Azumarill, since Incineroar, Kingambit, and Gholdengo are all seen).

Wait, actually the opponent has 3 Pokémon total in this battle (Champions singles format - each player brought 3 of their 6). The three seen are: Incineroar, Gholdengo, Kingambit. So those ARE all three of their Pokémon! They don't have any more to switch to.

Wait, let me re-read: "each player brought 3 of their 6 Pokémon" and "The opponent brought 3 of the 6 it showed at team preview: all have been seen."

So the opponent's full battle team is: Incineroar (26%), Gholdengo (39%), Kingambit (45%). All three are still alive!

If I KO Gholdengo, the opponent will switch to either Incineroar or Kingambit. Both are at low HP (26% and 45%).

Actually wait - in Pokémon Showdown Champions format, when a Pokémon is fainted, it's out for the rest of the match. So if I KO Gholdengo, the opponent has only 2 left.

Let me think about what to do after KOs:
    - If Incineroar comes in (26% HP): It's Fire/Dark with Intimidate. My Quaquaval (Water/Fighting) would be great against it - Water resists Fire, and Fighting is neutral to Dark. Close Combat would hit hard.
    - If Kingambit comes in (45% HP): Dark/Steel. Garchomp's Earthquake is super effective on it too. But I'd need to switch.

Actually, let me reconsider. Should I just use Earthquake now to KO Gholdengo? Yes, that seems like the obvious choice. It's super effective and should definitely KO at 39% HP.

    After KOs:
    - If Incineroar (26%) comes in: Switch to Quaquaval. Close Combat is Fighting vs Fire/Dark = neutral/neutral = 1x. But Water resists Fire so it won't take much damage from fire moves. Actually, Incineroar's moves aren't fully revealed yet (Fake Out and Parting Shot). It might have Flare Blitz or something.
    - If Kingambit (45%) comes in: Could switch to Quaquaval too. Close Combat vs Dark/Steel = Fighting is neutral to both. Or I could stay with Garchomp if it's at decent HP.

Actually, let me just focus on this turn. Earthquake will KO Gholdengo. That's the clear choice.

Let me write my notes and decision.

Gholdengo fainted. Garchomp at 40%, -2 Atk/-1 SpA, Life Orb, only Earthquake revealed. Incineroar (26.7%) survives neutral EQ; Kingambit (45.9%) likely KOed by 2x EQ. Switch to Incineroar, then Parting Shot to pivot to Kingambit or chip. Watch unrevealed: Corviknight, Toxapex, opposing Gholdengo, Dragapult, Quaquaval.

    Reasoning trace (1,804 words)
Let me analyze the battle state carefully.

    Current situation:
    - My active Gholdengo is FAINTED (0/194)
    - Incineroar: 54/202 (26.7%), Leftovers
    - Kingambit: 95/207 (45.9%), Life Orb
    - Opponent Garchomp: 40% HP, Life Orb, Rough Skin, -2 Atk, -1 SpA, revealed move Earthquake only

Legal actions: Switch to Incineroar or Switch to Kingambit.

Garchomp is at 40% HP with Life Orb. It has -2 Atk. Earthquake is super effective against both Incineroar (Fire/Dark - wait, Fire/Dark is not weak to Ground... Fire is neutral to Ground, Dark is neutral to Ground. So Incineroar takes neutral damage from Earthquake) and Kingambit (Dark/Steel - Steel is weak to Ground, so 2x).

Wait, Incineroar is Fire/Dark. Ground is not super effective against Fire or Dark. So Earthquake is neutral against Incineroar.

Kingambit is Dark/Steel. Ground is super effective against Steel. So Earthquake is 2x against Kingambit.

Garchomp has Rough Skin, so contact moves damage the attacker.

Garchomp is at 40% HP. It's faster than both my Pokémon (Spe 109-169 vs Incineroar 80, Kingambit 70).

If I switch to Kingambit: Garchomp will likely use Earthquake (2x vs Steel). Kingambit at 95/207. A -2 Life Orb Earthquake from Garchomp... Let me estimate. Garchomp Atk with -2. Even at -2, Garchomp's Earthquake is strong. Kingambit has 140 Def.

Actually, from the notes: "Earthquake likely KOes Kingambit from 45.9%". So switching to Kingambit means it likely gets KOed by Earthquake.

If I switch to Incineroar: Earthquake is neutral. Incineroar at 54/202. A neutral Earthquake from -2 Atk Garchomp... Incineroar has 156 Def. Might survive? But Incineroar is already at 26.7%. Rough Skin would also damage Garchomp if Incineroar uses a contact move, but Incineroar's moves are Fake Out (contact), Parting Shot (not contact), Flare Blitz (contact), Snarl (not contact).

Wait, but Garchomp only has Earthquake revealed. It might have other moves. But based on revealed moves, it's using Earthquake.

Actually, let me think about this differently. Garchomp is at 40% with Life Orb. It's been using Earthquake repeatedly. My Gholdengo just fainted to Earthquake.

The best play: Switch to Incineroar. Incineroar resists... no, Fire/Dark takes neutral from Ground. But Incineroar has high HP (202) and decent Def (156). At 54 HP, a neutral Earthquake might KO or might not.

Actually, wait. Let me reconsider. Garchomp at -2 Atk, Life Orb, 40% HP. Earthquake vs Incineroar (neutral):
    - Garchomp Atk: let's say it's around 150-180 after -2 (from 135-200 range, -2 means multiply by 0.75 roughly... actually -2 stat stage is 2/4 = 0.5x? No. Stat stages: -2 = 2/4 = 0.5x? Let me recall. Stage -2 means the stat is multiplied by 2/4 = 0.5? No.

    Pokémon stat stages:
    - -6: 2/8 = 0.25
    - -5: 2/7 ≈ 0.286
    - -4: 2/6 ≈ 0.333
    - -3: 2/5 = 0.4
    - -2: 2/4 = 0.5
    - -1: 2/3 ≈ 0.667
    - 0: 2/2 = 1.0
    - +1: 3/2 = 1.5
    - +2: 4/2 = 2.0

So -2 Atk means Garchomp's Atk is halved. From 135-200 range, that's roughly 67-100 effective Atk. That's not very high.

Earthquake (BP 100) with ~80 Atk vs Incineroar (156 Def), neutral:
    Damage ≈ (2 × 50 / 50 + 2) × 100 × (Atk/Def) × modifier / 50 + 2
    ≈ 2 × 100 × (80/156) / 50 + 2 ≈ 2 × 100 × 0.513 / 50 + 2 ≈ 2.05 + 2 ≈ 4? That can't be right.

Let me use the proper formula:
    Damage = (((2 × Level / 5 + 2) × Power × Atk / Def) / 50) + 2
    = (((2 × 50 / 5 + 2) × 100 × Atk / Def) / 50) + 2
    = ((22 × 100 × Atk / Def) / 50) + 2
    = (2200 × Atk / Def) / 50 + 2
    = 44 × Atk / Def + 2

    With Atk ≈ 80 (after -2), Def = 156:
    = 44 × 80 / 156 + 2 ≈ 44 × 0.513 + 2 ≈ 22.6 + 2 ≈ 24.6

With Life Orb (1.3x): ≈ 32 damage. Plus random factor (0.85-1.0): ~21-32 damage.

Incineroar has 54 HP. So it would survive easily. But wait, Garchomp's Atk range is 135-200 at level 50. After -2 (0.5x): 67.5-100. Let's say max 100.
    44 × 100 / 156 + 2 ≈ 28.2 + 2 ≈ 30.2. With LO: ~39. With random: ~33-39.

So Incineroar at 54 HP would survive a -2 Life Orb Earthquake (neutral) with maybe 15-20 HP left. Then Leftovers heals a bit.

But actually, Garchomp might have Stone Edge or other coverage. But based on revealed moves, only Earthquake.

If I switch to Kingambit: Earthquake is 2x. Kingambit Def 140.
44 × 100 / 140 + 2 ≈ 31.4 + 2 ≈ 33.4. With 2x: ~67. With LO: ~87. With random: ~74-87. Kingambit has 95 HP. So it might survive a low roll but likely KOed by high roll. From the notes: "Earthquake likely KOes Kingambit from 45.9%". So Kingambit is at risk.

So switching to Incineroar seems safer. Incineroar can then use Parting Shot to lower Garchomp's stats further and bring in Kingambit safely, or use Flare Blitz to damage Garchomp (but Rough Skin and Flare Blitz recoil...).

Actually, Incineroar at 54 HP. If it switches in, Garchomp uses Earthquake (neutral), Incineroar survives with ~15-25 HP. Then Incineroar can Parting Shot (lower Atk and SpA further) and switch to Kingambit. But Parting Shot is not a contact move, so no Rough Skin damage. Then Kingambit comes in on a predicted Earthquake or other move.

Wait, but if I Parting Shot, Garchomp's Atk goes to -3 (or stays at -2 if already at minimum? No, -2 can go to -3, -4, -5, -6). Then Kingambit switches in and can use Kowtow Cleave or Sucker Punch.

Garchomp at 40% HP. Kowtow Cleave is 85 BP, Dark type. Garchomp is Dragon/Ground, so neutral. Kingambit Atk 205 with Life Orb. Even without boost, that's strong. But Garchomp might be faster and use Earthquake first.

Actually, Kingambit is slower (70 vs Garchomp 109-169). So Garchomp moves first. If Kingambit switches in after Incineroar takes an Earthquake, Garchomp will use Earthquake again (2x vs Kingambit). Kingambit at 95 HP might not survive.

Hmm. Let me think about the best play.

    Option 1: Switch to Incineroar.
    - Garchomp uses Earthquake (neutral vs Incineroar). Incineroar survives with low HP.
    - Then I can Parting Shot to drop Garchomp's Atk further, switch to Kingambit.
    - But Garchomp might KO Incineroar if it has a roll or if I miscalculated.

    Option 2: Switch to Kingambit.
    - Garchomp uses Earthquake (2x vs Kingambit). Kingambit likely KOed.
    - Then I lose my cleaner.

Option 1 seems better. Incineroar can survive the neutral Earthquake, then Parting Shot to make Garchomp even weaker, then bring in Kingambit or stay and Flare Blitz.

Actually, wait. If Incineroar uses Flare Blitz (contact), it takes Rough Skin damage (1/8 max HP = ~25 HP) and Flare Blitz recoil (1/3 of damage dealt). Garchomp is 4x weak to... no, Garchomp is Dragon/Ground, Fire is neutral. Flare Blitz would do decent damage but Incineroar would take a lot of recoil.

Parting Shot seems best: lower Garchomp's Atk (already -2, going to -3) and SpA (-1 going to -2), then switch out.

But actually, can I Parting Shot and then switch? Parting Shot doesn't force a switch. I'd need to predict.

Let me think about what's most likely. Garchomp is at 40%, -2 Atk, -1 SpA, Life Orb. It's been spamming Earthquake. It will likely use Earthquake again.

Switch to Incineroar: survives Earthquake (neutral). Then next turn, Parting Shot to drop stats further, or Flare Blitz to try to KO.

Actually, Incineroar at ~20 HP after Earthquake. Flare Blitz does ~1/3 recoil of damage dealt. If Flare Blitz does ~60-70% to Garchomp (40% HP remaining, so need ~40% to KO), Incineroar would take ~20-25 recoil + Rough Skin ~25 = ~45-50 damage. Incineroar at 20 HP would faint from recoil/Rough Skin before or after.

Hmm, this is tricky. Let me reconsider.

Actually, the safest play is Switch to Incineroar. It survives Earthquake (neutral, -2 Atk). Then I can assess. But I only get one action this turn.

Switch: Incineroar seems right. It can take a hit, then Parting Shot next turn to bring in Kingambit safely, or if Garchomp is weakened enough, Flare Blitz.

Wait, but if I switch to Incineroar and Garchomp uses Earthquake, Incineroar is left with very low HP. Then Garchomp is still at 40%. Next turn I'd need to switch again or attack.

Actually, let me reconsider Kingambit. Kingambit has Supreme Overlord. If Gholdengo fainted, that's 1 fallen Pokémon. Supreme Overlord boosts damage based on fallen teammates (up to 5). With 1 fallen, Kingambit's moves get a small boost.

But Kingambit is slower and takes 2x from Earthquake. At 95/207, a -2 Life Orb Earthquake (2x) likely KOes.

Let me go with Switch: Incineroar. It's the safer play. Incineroar can survive the neutral Earthquake, then use Parting Shot to further cripple Garchomp and pivot to Kingambit.

Actually, wait. Let me reconsider whether Incineroar really survives. Garchomp's Atk after -2: if Garchomp has a nature boosting Atk and max IVs/EVs, Atk could be 200. After -2: 100. Life Orb Earthquake vs Incineroar (156 Def), neutral:

    Damage = 44 × 100 / 156 + 2 ≈ 30.2. × 1.3 (LO) ≈ 39.3. × random (0.85-1.0) ≈ 33-39.

Incineroar has 54 HP. Survives with 15-21 HP. Then Leftovers next turn.

But what if Garchomp has Stone Edge or Fire Fang? Those aren't revealed. But based on the log, Garchomp has only used Earthquake. It might be a Choice-locked set or just spamming. But we can't assume.

Given the information, Switch: Incineroar is the best play. It avoids losing Kingambit to a 2x Earthquake, and Incineroar can survive a neutral Earthquake.

Actually, I want to reconsider one more time. The notes say "Garchomp is faster and at 50% after Life Orb recoil; -2 Earthquake likely KOes active Gholdengo at 77% and probably Kingambit at 95%." So Kingambit is likely KOed by Earthquake. Incineroar takes neutral damage and should survive.

    Decision: SWITCH: incineroar

For notes: Garchomp at 40%, -2 Atk/-1 SpA, Life Orb, only Earthquake revealed. Gholdengo fainted. Incineroar at 26.7% can survive neutral Earthquake; Kingambit at 45.9% likely KOed by 2x Earthquake. Switch to Incineroar, then Parting Shot to pivot to Kingambit or chip Garchomp. Watch for opposing Corviknight/Toxapex/Dragapult/Quaquaval/Gholdengo.

Let me write the notes concisely (under 60 words).

    <notes>
Gholdengo fainted. Garchomp at 40%, -2 Atk/-1 SpA, Life Orb, only Earthquake revealed. Incineroar (26.7%) survives neutral EQ; Kingambit (45.9%) likely KOed by 2x EQ. Switch to Incineroar, then Parting Shot to pivot to Kingambit or chip. Watch unrevealed: Corviknight, Toxapex, opposing Gholdengo, Dragapult, Quaquaval.

    That's about 55 words. Good.

Incineroar at 26.7%, Garchomp at 40% (-3 Atk/-1 SpA, Life Orb). Garchomp is faster and Earthquake is 2x vs Incineroar (Fire weak to Ground), so Incineroar faints if Garchomp attacks first. Fake Out has priority +3, flinches Garchomp, denies its attack this turn. Incineroar takes Rough Skin contact damage but survives. Gholdengo fainted; only Kingambit remains as backup but likely loses to 2x EQ. Plan: Fake Out now, then reassess—possibly switch to Kingambit next turn if it can survive -3 Atk EQ, or chip Garchomp into KO range.

    Reasoning trace (1,670 words)
Let me analyze the battle state carefully.

    Current situation:
    - My Incineroar is active at 54/202 HP (26.7%), with Leftovers
    - Gholdengo is fainted
    - Kingambit is at 95/207 HP (45.9%), Life Orb
    - Opponent Garchomp is active at 40% HP, Life Orb, Rough Skin, boosts: Atk -3, SpA -1
    - Garchomp has only revealed Earthquake
    - Speed: Incineroar 80 vs Garchomp 109-169, so Garchomp moves first

    Key considerations:
    1. Garchomp is at -3 Atk (Intimidate twice + Parting Shot once = -3? Let me check: Turn 1 Intimidate (-1), Turn 2 Parting Shot (-1), Turn 6 Intimidate again on switch-in (-1). So yes, -3 Atk, and -1 SpA from Parting Shot).
    2. Garchomp at 40% HP with Life Orb
    3. Incineroar at 26.7% HP - very low
    4. Kingambit at 45.9% - Earthquake is 2x vs Steel, likely KOes Kingambit

    Legal actions:
    - Fake Out: Can only be used on first turn on field. Incineroar just switched in this turn (Turn 6 end), so this IS its first turn on the field. Fake Out has priority +3 and flinches. But Garchomp is at 40%, Fake Out does minimal damage (40 BP, not very effective vs Dragon/Ground? Fire/Dark vs Dragon/Ground - Normal type, neutral). Fake Out would flinch Garchomp, giving me a free turn.
    - Parting Shot: Lowers Atk/SpA, switches out. But Garchomp is already at -3 Atk/-1 SpA. Parting Shot would switch to Kingambit, but Kingambit gets KOed by Earthquake (2x).
    - Flare Blitz: Not very effective on Garchomp (Fire vs Dragon/Ground = neutral actually? Wait, Fire vs Dragon is neutral, Fire vs Ground is neutral. So it's neutral, not not very effective. The description says "not very effective on garchomp" but that might be wrong or referring to something else. Actually Fire is neutral vs Dragon and neutral vs Ground. So Flare Blitz is neutral. But with 120 BP and Incineroar's 135 Atk, it could do significant damage. However, Garchomp has Rough Skin and Life Orb recoil.
    - Snarl: Lowers SpA by 1. Garchomp is physical attacker mostly.
    - Switch to Kingambit: Kingambit at 45.9% vs Earthquake (2x super effective). Garchomp at -3 Atk but Life Orb. Earthquake from Garchomp at -3 Atk... Let me think. Even at -3, Garchomp's Earthquake is strong. Kingambit has 140 Def. But 2x super effective... Kingambit might not survive.

Wait, let me reconsider. The notes say "Kingambit (45.9%) likely KOed by 2x EQ." So switching to Kingambit is risky.

Fake Out seems like a good option:
    - Priority +3, goes first regardless of speed
    - 100% flinch chance
    - Garchomp can't move this turn
    - Incineroar takes Rough Skin damage (1/8 max HP = ~25 HP) if Fake Out makes contact? Fake Out is a contact move, so Rough Skin would damage Incineroar.
    - But then next turn I can switch or attack

Actually, if I Fake Out and Garchomp flinches, Garchomp doesn't attack this turn. Then next turn I can decide. But Incineroar is at 26.7% and will take Rough Skin damage from Fake Out contact.

Wait, does Fake Out make contact? Yes, Fake Out is a contact move. So Rough Skin would deal 1/8 of Incineroar's max HP = 202/8 ≈ 25 damage. Incineroar at 54 would go to ~29, then Leftovers heals ~12 to ~41.

    Alternatively, Parting Shot:
    - Garchomp gets -1 Atk/-1 SpA (already at -3/-1, so -4/-2)
    - Incineroar switches out
    - But who switches in? Only Kingambit available (Gholdengo fainted)
    - Kingambit at 45.9% vs Earthquake 2x - likely KOed

    Flare Blitz:
    - Goes second (Garchomp faster)
    - Garchomp uses Earthquake first - Incineroar at 26.7% vs Earthquake 2x... wait, Incineroar is Fire/Dark. Ground is super effective vs Fire? No, Ground is neutral vs Fire. Wait: Ground vs Fire is neutral. But Incineroar is Fire/Dark. Ground is super effective vs... Fire? No. Let me check type chart: Ground is super effective against Fire, Electric, Poison, Rock, Steel. Yes! Ground is super effective vs Fire. So Earthquake is 2x vs Incineroar.
    - Incineroar at 26.7% would be KOed by Earthquake before it can use Flare Blitz.

    Snarl:
    - Goes second, Garchomp attacks first with Earthquake, Incineroar likely KOed.

So the viable options are Fake Out or Parting Shot or Switch.

    Fake Out:
    - Goes first, flinches Garchomp
    - Incineroar takes Rough Skin damage
    - Next turn, Garchomp is still at 40%, Incineroar is even lower
    - But I've denied Garchomp a turn of attack

    Parting Shot:
    - Garchomp attacks first (Earthquake), Incineroar likely KOed
    - Then Parting Shot fails? No, if Incineroar faints before moving, Parting Shot doesn't happen.
    - Actually, if Garchomp KOes Incineroar with Earthquake, Incineroar doesn't get to use Parting Shot.

    Switch to Kingambit:
    - Garchomp uses Earthquake on Kingambit (2x)
    - Kingambit at 45.9% - likely KOed based on notes

Hmm, all options seem bad. But Fake Out at least guarantees Garchomp doesn't attack this turn. Incineroar survives the turn (takes Rough Skin but not Earthquake). Then next turn I can reassess.

Actually wait - if I Fake Out, Garchomp flinches and doesn't move. Incineroar takes Rough Skin damage from the contact move. End of turn Leftovers. Next turn, Incineroar is still active (unless it faints from Rough Skin, which it won't at 54 HP taking ~25 damage). Then I can switch to Kingambit or attack.

But Kingambit vs Garchomp Earthquake... Kingambit at 45.9% with -3 Atk Garchomp. Let me think about whether Kingambit survives. Garchomp's Attack at -3 is significantly reduced. Kingambit has 140 Def and 207 HP. Even with Life Orb, -3 Atk Earthquake might not KO Kingambit from 45.9%. But the notes say it likely does. I should trust the notes.

Actually, let me reconsider Fake Out. The issue is that Fake Out can only be used on the first turn the Pokémon is on the field. Incineroar switched in at the end of Turn 6, so Turn 7 is its first turn. Fake Out is available.

    If I Fake Out:
    - Garchomp flinches, no attack
    - Incineroar takes Rough Skin (~25 damage), down to ~29
    - Leftovers heals to ~41
    - Next turn: I can switch to Kingambit (Garchomp attacks, Kingambit takes EQ) or use another move

Actually, if I Fake Out and then next turn switch to Kingambit, Garchomp gets a free Earthquake on Kingambit. That's bad.

If I Fake Out and then next turn attack with Flare Blitz... Garchomp attacks first with Earthquake, Incineroar likely faints.

Hmm. What if I just Fake Out now, and then next turn Fake Out again? No, can't - only first turn.

What about Parting Shot now? Garchomp moves first with Earthquake. Incineroar at 26.7% vs 2x Earthquake from -3 Atk Garchomp... Incineroar has 156 Def. Even at -3, Garchomp's Attack is high. But Incineroar might survive? The notes say Incineroar "survives neutral EQ" but this is 2x EQ (Fire is weak to Ground). So Incineroar likely faints.

Actually wait, let me re-read: "Incineroar (26.7%) survives neutral EQ". But Ground is super effective vs Fire, so it's 2x, not neutral. So Incineroar does NOT survive 2x EQ.

So if Garchomp attacks first (which it will, being faster), Incineroar faints unless I use Fake Out (priority +3).

Therefore, Fake Out is the only move that prevents Incineroar from being KOed this turn. After Fake Out, Garchomp is flinched and doesn't attack. Incineroar takes Rough Skin damage but survives.

Then next turn, I need to decide what to do with a weakened Incineroar vs a 40% Garchomp. I could switch to Kingambit and hope it survives -3 Atk Earthquake, or I could try to finish Garchomp.

Actually, with Fake Out, I deny Garchomp a turn. That's valuable. Incineroar takes some Rough Skin damage but lives. Then I can switch to Kingambit next turn (taking an Earthquake) or attack.

But wait - if I switch to Kingambit next turn, Garchomp attacks first with Earthquake. Kingambit at 45.9% vs -3 Atk Life Orb Earthquake... The notes say likely KOed. But maybe with -3 Atk it survives? I'm not sure.

Alternatively, after Fake Out, I could use Flare Blitz next turn. Garchomp moves first with Earthquake, Incineroar faints. But Flare Blitz might KO Garchomp first? No, Garchomp moves first.

Actually, the best play might be Fake Out now to save Incineroar from immediate death, then next turn switch to Kingambit. Even if Kingambit takes Earthquake, if it survives, it can threaten Garchomp with Kowtow Cleave or Sucker Punch.

Or, Fake Out now, then next turn Parting Shot? No, Parting Shot switches out but Garchomp attacks first.

Let me go with Fake Out. It's the only action that keeps Incineroar alive this turn.

Wait, actually I should reconsider. If I Fake Out:
    - Turn 7: Fake Out, Garchomp flinches. Incineroar takes Rough Skin (~25 HP), down to ~29. Leftovers to ~41.
    - Turn 8: Garchomp is at 40%, Incineroar at ~41%. I switch to Kingambit. Garchomp uses Earthquake on Kingambit. If Kingambit survives (at -3 Atk), great. If not, I lose Kingambit.

Or Turn 8: I use Flare Blitz. Garchomp uses Earthquake first, Incineroar faints. Flare Blitz might not even KO Garchomp (not very effective? No, neutral). But Incineroar dies.

Fake Out seems best to at least get one more turn of safety.

Actually, let me reconsider Parting Shot. If I use Parting Shot:
    - Garchomp moves first with Earthquake. Incineroar at 26.7% vs 2x EQ. Incineroar faints before moving. Parting Shot doesn't happen.

So Parting Shot is useless if Incineroar gets KOed first.

    Switch to Kingambit:
    - Garchomp uses Earthquake on Kingambit (2x). Kingambit at 45.9%. Notes say likely KOed.

So Fake Out is really the only viable option. It guarantees Incineroar survives this turn (takes Rough Skin but not Earthquake), and denies Garchomp an attack.

Let me go with Fake Out.

Wait, one more thing: the move description says "This move cannot be selected unless it is the user's first turn on the field." Incineroar switched in at end of Turn 6, so Turn 7 is its first turn. Fake Out is legal.

Garchomp (40% HP, Atk -3) outspeeds Incineroar (26%). EQ is 2x SE on Fire/Dark and will easily KO it despite the -3 stages. After KO, opponent's only remaining Pokémon is Kingambit (45%). Plan: switch to Quaquaval next turn — Fighting is super effective against Steel-type Kingambit, and Closecombat with Focus Sash gives a free hit even if it resists. Toxapex as backup if needed.

    Reasoning trace (822 words)
Let me analyze the current situation:

    - My Garchomp is at 74/183 HP (40.4%), Atk -3, SpA -1, Life Orb
    - Opponent's Incineroar is at 26% HP, Intimidate active
    - I outspeed Incineroar (169 vs 72-123)

Incineroar is at 26% HP. Let me calculate if Earthquake KOs it:
    - Garchomp Atk with -3 stages: base 182, but with Life Orb and Intimidate...
    - Actually, let me think about this differently. Incineroar was at 26% after my first EQ (Turn 1). Then it healed to 93% from Leftovers. Wait no, that was Turn 1.

Let me re-read the battle log:
    - Turn 1: Fake Out hit Garchomp, Incineroar healed to 93% from Leftovers
    - Turn 2: My EQ hit Incineroar (super effective), Incineroar at 26%. Then Parting Shot lowered my Atk and SpA. Gholdengo switched in.
    - Turn 3: My EQ hit Gholdengo (super effective), Gholdengo at 27%, healed to 52% from Sitrus Berry. Gholdengo Recovered to 100%.
    - Turn 4: Kingambit switched in. My EQ hit Kingambit (super effective), Kingambit at 45%.
    - Turn 5: Gholdengo switched in. My EQ hit Gholdengo (super effective), Gholdengo at 39%.
    - Turn 6: My EQ KO'd Gholdengo. Incineroar switched in.

So Incineroar is at 26% HP. It's been sitting there since Turn 2 when it was hit by my first EQ.

Now, my Garchomp has Atk -3 (from Intimidate on switch-in + Parting Shot + another Intimidate). Let me think about whether EQ KOs Incineroar at 26%.

    Garchomp's base Atk is 182. With -3 stages: 182 * (1/4) = ~45.5... wait no. Stage modifiers:
    - -1: 0.87x
    - -2: 0.75x
    - -3: 0.67x

    So Atk is roughly 182 * 0.67 ≈ 122. With Life Orb (1.3x): ~159.

    Incineroar's HP at 26%: if max HP is around 170-202, let's say ~186. 26% of 186 ≈ 48 HP.

EQ damage: (2 * Atk * BP / Def) / 50 + 2, times STAB (1.3 for Dragon/Ground... wait no, EQ is Ground type, Garchomp is Dragon/Ground so STAB applies = 1.5x), times super effective (Fire/Dark vs Ground = 2x), times Life Orb (1.3x).

    Wait, let me recalculate:
    - Base damage formula: ((2*Level/5+2) * BP * Atk / Def) / 50 + 2
    - Level 50: (2*50/5+2) = 22
    - EQ: BP 100, Ground type
    - Garchomp Atk with -3 stages: ~182 * 0.67 ≈ 122
    - Incineroar Def: let's say around 99-156, probably mid-range ~120
    - STAB: 1.5 (Ground on Dragon/Ground)
    - Super effective: 2x (Ground vs Fire/Dark... wait, Ground is super effective against Fire? Yes! Ground is super effective against Fire and Rock. And Dark is neutral to Ground.)

    So total multiplier: 22 * 100 * 122 / 120 / 50 + 2 = (268400/6000) + 2 ≈ 44.7 + 2 = 46.7
    Then STAB 1.5x: 46.7 * 1.5 = 70
    Then super effective 2x: 70 * 2 = 140
    Then Life Orb 1.3x: 140 * 1.3 ≈ 182

Incineroar at 26% of ~186 HP = ~48 HP. So EQ would deal ~182 damage, which is way more than 48. It KOs easily.

Wait, but I need to account for Intimidate lowering Atk. The -3 stages already account for that (Parting Shot was -1, and two Intimidates from switching in... actually let me recount:
    - Turn 2: Parting Shot lowered Atk by 1 stage → Atk -1
    - Turn 6: Incineroar switched in with Intimidate → Atk -1 more → Atk -2
    - Wait, but the notes say Atk -3 now.

Looking at the current state: "Boosts: Atk -3, SpA -1"

So yes, Atk is -3. The EQ should still KO Incineroar at 26% easily.

Actually wait - let me reconsider. The Intimidate on Turn 6 says "Your Garchomp: atk -1". And before that it was already at -2 (from Parting Shot + initial Intimidate). So now it's -3.

With Atk -3, the damage is still massive compared to Incineroar's 26% HP. EQ will KO it.

After KOs Incineroar, what happens? The opponent has Kingambit (45%) left as their last Pokémon. So after this turn, I'll have a choice of switching to Toxapex or Quaquaval to face Kingambit.

Actually, let me think about whether I should just EQ now or switch first. If I switch to Toxapex:
    - Toxapex is Water/Poison, Kingambit is Dark/Steel
    - Kingambit's moves are unknown yet
    - Toxapex has great SpD (194) and Def (172), can wall a lot

    If I switch to Quaquaval:
    - Water/Fighting vs Dark/Steel
    - Fighting is super effective against Steel! Closecombat would be 2x SE
    - But Kingambit might have moves that hit hard

Actually, the smartest play right now is to just KO Incineroar with Earthquake. It's a free switch - I get to pick which Pokémon faces Kingambit next turn. Let me just EQ it.

Wait, but should I consider Dragon Tail? No, that would force a switch and I'd lose my turn essentially. Just KO it with EQ.

Let me go with MOVE: earthquake.

Garchomp at 28%, -3 Atk/-1 SpA, Life Orb, faster than Incineroar. Incineroar at 20.3% HP. Fake Out unavailable (not first turn out). Garchomp moves first with Earthquake (2x on Incineroar). Flare Blitz can KO Garchomp if Incineroar survives the hit; Garchomp is nearly dead. Kingambit (45.9%) is backup but likely loses to unboosted EQ. Best chance: Flare Blitz to trade Incineroar for Garchomp, then Kingambit cleans or faces next Pokémon.

    Reasoning trace (2,138 words)
Let me analyze the situation carefully.

    Current state:
    - Incineroar active: 41/202 HP (20.3%), Leftovers
    - Gholdengo: FAINTED
    - Kingambit: 95/207 HP (45.9%), Life Orb

    Opponent:
    - Garchomp active: 28% HP, Life Orb, Rough Skin, -3 Atk / -1 SpA boosts
    - Revealed move: Earthquake
    - Speed: Garchomp 109-169 vs Incineroar 80, so Garchomp moves first unless priority move

    Legal actions:
    1. Parting Shot - lowers Atk/SpA, switches out
    2. Flare Blitz - Fire physical, not very effective on Garchomp (4x resist? No, Garchomp is Dragon/Ground, Fire is neutral... wait, Dragon/Ground: Fire is neutral vs Dragon, super effective vs Ground? No, Fire vs Ground is neutral. Fire vs Dragon is neutral. So Fire is neutral on Garchomp. Wait, the action says "not very effective on garchomp" - hmm, actually Fire is neutral against Dragon/Ground. Let me check: Dragon is neutral to Fire, Ground is neutral to Fire. So Fire is neutral (1x). But the description says "not very effective" - maybe that's just the game's display or maybe I'm wrong. Actually wait, Garchomp is Dragon/Ground. Fire vs Dragon = 1x, Fire vs Ground = 1x. So it's neutral. But the action description says "not very effective on garchomp" - this might be an error in the prompt or maybe there's something I'm missing. Regardless, Flare Blitz has 33% recoil.
    3. Snarl - Dark special, lowers SpA
    4. Switch to Kingambit

    Key considerations:
    - Garchomp is at 28% HP, -3 Atk, Life Orb, Rough Skin
    - Incineroar is at 20.3% HP
    - Garchomp moves first (faster)
    - If Garchomp uses Earthquake: it's 4x effective on Incineroar (Fire is weak to Ground? Wait, Fire vs Ground: Fire is NOT weak to Ground. Ground is super effective against Fire? Let me check type chart: Ground moves are super effective against Fire, Electric, Poison, Rock, Steel. Yes! Ground is super effective against Fire. So Earthquake is 2x on Incineroar (Fire/Dark). Fire is weak to Ground. So Earthquake is 2x effective.

Wait, Incineroar is Fire/Dark. Ground vs Fire = 2x, Ground vs Dark = 1x. So Earthquake is 2x super effective.

With -3 Atk and Life Orb, Garchomp's Earthquake at 28% HP... Incineroar is at 20.3%. A -3 Atk Life Orb Earthquake from Garchomp might still KO or heavily damage Incineroar.

Actually, let me think about what happens:
    - If I use Fake Out (not in legal actions!), it would flinch Garchomp. But Fake Out is NOT in the legal actions this turn. Interesting - the legal actions are Parting Shot, Flare Blitz, Snarl, Switch Kingambit. Fake Out is not available? Wait, looking at PP: fakeout 14/16. But it's not in legal actions. That's strange. Maybe because Fake Out only works on first turn out? Incineroar has been in and out. Actually Fake Out can only be used on the first turn the Pokémon is out. Incineroar came in on Turn 7, used Fake Out. Now on Turn 8, Fake Out can't be used again until Incineroar switches out and back in. That makes sense.

    So options:
    1. Parting Shot: lowers Garchomp's Atk/SpA further (to -4 Atk, -2 SpA), then switches out. But who to switch to? Only Kingambit is available (Gholdengo fainted). So Parting Shot would switch to Kingambit. But Kingambit at 45.9% vs Garchomp Earthquake... Garchomp is faster, so it attacks first. With -3 Atk already, and Parting Shot makes it -4. Kingambit is Dark/Steel, resistant to Ground? No, Ground is neutral on Steel, super effective on Dark? Ground vs Dark = 1x. So Earthquake is neutral on Kingambit. But Kingambit is at 45.9%, and a Life Orb Earthquake from Garchomp... even at -4 Atk, might KO or heavily damage Kingambit.

Actually wait, if I Parting Shot, the switch happens after the move. But Garchomp moves first (faster). So Garchomp attacks Incineroar first, then Incineroar uses Parting Shot? No - if Garchomp moves first and KOes Incineroar, then Parting Shot doesn't happen. If Garchomp doesn't KO, then Parting Shot happens and switches to Kingambit.

Actually, in Pokémon, if you choose a move that switches out (like Parting Shot), and the opponent moves first and KOes you, you don't get to use your move. So Parting Shot is risky if Garchomp can KO Incineroar.

    2. Flare Blitz: Incineroar attacks first? No, Garchomp is faster. Garchomp uses Earthquake first. If it KOes Incineroar, Flare Blitz doesn't happen. If not, Flare Blitz hits Garchomp. Flare Blitz is neutral on Garchomp (Fire vs Dragon/Ground = 1x). With Incineroar's high Attack (135) and Flare Blitz BP 120, at 28% HP Garchomp might be KOed. But Incineroar takes 33% recoil and Rough Skin damage (1/8 max HP = ~25 HP). Incineroar is at 41 HP, so it might faint from recoil + Rough Skin even if it KOes Garchomp.

Wait, but Garchomp moves first. So:
    - Turn 8: Garchomp uses Earthquake on Incineroar. Incineroar at 41 HP. Even with -3 Atk, Life Orb Earthquake is 2x super effective. This could KO Incineroar.
    - If Incineroar survives, it uses Flare Blitz, possibly KOing Garchomp, but takes recoil + Rough Skin.

    3. Snarl: lowers Garchomp's SpA (already -1, goes to -2). But Garchomp moves first with Earthquake (physical), so SpA drop doesn't help this turn. Then Incineroar takes Earthquake damage.

    4. Switch to Kingambit: Garchomp moves first, uses Earthquake on Incineroar (KO likely), then Kingambit comes in. Or if Incineroar somehow survives, Kingambit comes in after.

Actually, the best play might be Flare Blitz to try to KO Garchomp. Let me think about damage.

Garchomp at 28% HP. Incineroar Flare Blitz (120 BP, physical, Atk 135). Even neutral, this should do significant damage. At level 50, with Incineroar's stats... Let me estimate. Incineroar Atk 135 at level 50. Flare Blitz 120 BP. Against Garchomp with Def around 103-161.

    Damage formula: (2 * 50 / 5 + 2) * 120 * (Atk/Def) / 50 + 2
    = 22 * 120 * (135/Def) / 50 + 2
    = 2640 * (135/Def) / 50 + 2
    = 52.8 * (135/Def) + 2

    If Def = 103: 52.8 * 1.31 + 2 = 69.2 + 2 = 71.2
    If Def = 161: 52.8 * 0.838 + 2 = 44.3 + 2 = 46.3

Garchomp HP range: 183-215. At 28%: 51-60 HP.

So Flare Blitz would do 46-71 damage, which is enough to KO Garchomp at 28% (51-60 HP). But wait, Garchomp has Life Orb and Rough Skin. Incineroar takes Rough Skin (1/8 max HP = 202/8 = 25.25 ≈ 25 HP) and Flare Blitz recoil (33% of damage dealt).

But Garchomp moves first! Earthquake on Incineroar:
    Garchomp Atk at -3. Base Atk range 135-200. At -3, that's multiplied by 0.5 (or 25%? At -3 stages, Atk is 25% of original? Let me recall: -1 = 0.667, -2 = 0.5, -3 = 0.4, -4 = 0.333, -5 = 0.286, -6 = 0.25).

    Actually in Pokémon: -1 = 2/3, -2 = 1/2, -3 = 2/5 = 0.4, -4 = 1/3, -5 = 2/7, -6 = 1/4.

So Garchomp Atk at -3 is 0.4 of original. If original Atk is say 170 (mid range), at -3 it's 68.

Earthquake 100 BP, Life Orb 1.3x, 2x super effective on Incineroar.
    Damage: 22 * 100 * 0.4 * (Atk/Def) * 1.3 * 2 / 50 + 2

Incineroar Def 156 at level 50.
    = 22 * 100 * 0.4 * (170/156) * 1.3 * 2 / 50 + 2
    = 22 * 100 * 0.4 * 1.09 * 1.3 * 2 / 50 + 2
    = 22 * 100 * 0.4 * 1.09 * 2.6 / 50 + 2
    = 22 * 113.36 / 50 + 2
    = 2493.92 / 50 + 2
    = 49.9 + 2 = 51.9

Hmm, that's around 52 damage. Incineroar has 41 HP. So Earthquake would KO Incineroar!

Wait, but Garchomp's Atk could be lower. The range is 135-200. If Atk is 135, at -3 it's 54.
    = 22 * 100 * 0.4 * (54/156) * 1.3 * 2 / 50 + 2
    = 22 * 100 * 0.4 * 0.346 * 2.6 / 50 + 2
    = 22 * 36 / 50 + 2
    = 792 / 50 + 2 = 15.8 + 2 = 17.8

That's only 18 damage, which Incineroar survives. But if Atk is higher, it's more dangerous.

Actually, looking at the battle log: Turn 2, Garchomp Earthquake did Incineroar from 189 to 54 (about 135 damage). That was at -1 Atk (after Intimidate). Turn 3, Earthquake on Gholdengo (not relevant). Turn 4, Earthquake on Kingambit from 207 to 95 (about 112 damage). That was at -2 Atk (Intimidate + Parting Shot). Turn 5, Earthquake on Gholdengo from 102 to 77 (25 damage? That seems low... wait, Gholdengo has high SpD but Earthquake is physical. Gholdengo Def 115. Hmm, 25 damage seems low for -2 Atk Earthquake. Maybe Garchomp's Atk isn't that high.)

Actually, looking more carefully at the log:
    - Turn 2: Incineroar at 189 → 54 (135 damage). Garchomp at -1 Atk.
    - Turn 4: Kingambit at 207 → 95 (112 damage). Garchomp at -2 Atk.
    - Turn 5: Gholdengo at 102 → 77 (25 damage). Wait, that seems wrong. Gholdengo is Steel/Ghost, immune to... no, Ground hits Ghost? No! Ground is NOT super effective on Ghost, and Ghost is immune to... wait, Ground vs Ghost: Ground is neutral on Ghost. Ghost vs Ground: Ghost is neutral on Ground. So Earthquake hits Gholdengo normally. But Gholdengo has Def 115. At -2 Atk, Earthquake doing only 25 damage seems low. Unless Garchomp's Atk is on the lower end.

Actually wait, looking at Turn 5 again: "Your Gholdengo is at 77/194 HP" - it was at 102 before, so 25 damage. But then Turn 6: "Your Gholdengo is at 77/194 HP" then "Your Gholdengo fainted" from another Earthquake. So two Earthquakes did 25 + 77 = 102 damage. That's consistent with -2 Atk Earthquake doing around 50 each time? No, 25 then 77... hmm, maybe the first one was at -2 and the second at -2 as well? Or maybe there's some variance.

Anyway, the point is: Garchomp's Earthquake at -3 Atk on Incineroar (41 HP) is uncertain. It might KO or might not.

Given that Fake Out is not available (not in legal actions), and Garchomp moves first:

Option A: Flare Blitz - try to KO Garchomp before it can attack again. But Garchomp attacks first this turn. If Earthquake KOes Incineroar, we lose Incineroar and Garchomp survives at 28%. If Incineroar survives, Flare Blitz likely KOes Garchomp (28% HP), but Incineroar takes recoil + Rough Skin and might faint anyway.

Option B: Parting Shot - lower Garchomp's stats further, then switch to Kingambit. But Garchomp attacks first and might KO Incineroar, preventing Parting Shot. If Incineroar survives, Parting Shot happens, Kingambit comes in. But Kingambit at 45.9% vs Garchomp Earthquake next turn... Garchomp is faster, Kingambit likely takes heavy damage or KO.

Option C: Snarl - lower SpA (useless against physical Earthquake this turn), Garchomp attacks first, likely KOes Incineroar.

Option D: Switch to Kingambit - Garchomp attacks first, KOes Incineroar, then Kingambit comes in and takes Earthquake next turn.

Hmm, actually, if I switch to Kingambit, the switch happens after Garchomp's move. So:
    - Garchomp uses Earthquake on Incineroar (KO likely)
    - Kingambit switches in
    - Next turn: Garchomp uses Earthquake on Kingambit

Kingambit at 45.9% (95/207). Dark/Steel. Earthquake is neutral (Ground vs Dark = 1x, vs Steel = 1x). Kingambit has Def 140. At -3 Atk, Garchomp's Earthquake might not KO Kingambit.

Actually, let me reconsider. The best play might be Flare Blitz. Even if Garchomp attacks first and damages Incineroar, if Incineroar survives, Flare Blitz KOes Garchomp. Then we have Kingambit at 45.9% vs whatever comes next.

But if Garchomp KOes Incineroar with Earthquake, we lose Incineroar and Garchomp is still at 28%. Then Kingambit comes in and faces Garchomp.

Actually, looking at this more carefully: Incineroar is at 41 HP. Leftovers will heal at end of turn, but that's after the turn. Garchomp moves first.

I think Flare Blitz is the best option because:
    1. Garchomp is at 28% - very low
    2. Flare Blitz has a good chance to KO even if Incineroar takes damage first
    3. If Incineroar survives the Earthquake, Flare Blitz finishes Garchomp
    4. Even if Incineroar faints from recoil/Rough Skin after KOing Garchomp, that's a trade we want (Incineroar is low anyway)

Wait, but if Garchomp KOes Incineroar with Earthquake, Flare Blitz never happens. So it's a gamble.

Let me think about Parting Shot. If I Parting Shot:
    - Garchomp moves first, Earthquake on Incineroar
    - If Incineroar survives: Parting Shot lowers Garchomp to -4 Atk / -2 SpA, then Kingambit switches in
    - Next turn: Garchomp at -4 Atk uses Earthquake on Kingambit. Kingambit at 45.9%. With -4 Atk, Earthquake might not KO. Kingambit can then attack

Garchomp (29% HP, Atk -3) outspeeds Incineroar (20%). EQ is 2x SE on Fire/Dark — will easily KO despite -3 stages. After KO, opponent switches to Kingambit (45%, Dark/Steel). Plan: switch to Quaquaval next turn; Closecombat (2x SE on Steel) with Focus Sash KOs Kingambit. Toxapex as backup if needed.

    Reasoning trace (737 words)
    Let me analyze the situation:

    - My Garchomp is at 53/183 HP (29%), Atk -3, SpA -1, with Life Orb
    - Opponent's Incineroar is at 20% HP, Intimidate active
    - Kingambit is at 45% HP and still in the team

Garchomp outspeeds Incineroar (169 vs 72-123). Earthquake is super effective on Fire/Dark.

With Atk -3, Garchomp's Attack is significantly reduced. Let me calculate:
    - Base Atk 182, at level 50: roughly 182 * (50/50) = 182 base stat contribution... actually let me think about this differently.

    At level 50, the formula for physical attack is: ((2*BaseStat + IV + EV/4) * Level / 50 + 32) * AbilityMod * StageMod

With Atk -3 (which is 1/8 of normal), and Life Orb giving 1.3x damage multiplier...

Actually, let me just think about whether EQ can KO Incineroar at 20% HP.

Garchomp's Attack with -3 stages: The stage modifier for -3 is 1/(1+3) = 1/4... wait no. Stage modifiers:
    - +6 to +5: 2x
    - +4 to +3: 1.75x
    - +2 to +1: 1.5x
    - 0: 1x
    - -1 to -2: 0.67x
    - -3 to -4: 0.5x
    - -5 to -6: 0.33x

So Atk -3 means the stage modifier is 0.5x (half).

Garchomp's base Attack is 182. At level 50 with presumably IVs and EVs... Let's say roughly around 182-200 range for actual Attack stat. With -3 stages, that's halved to about 90-100.

Earthquake: BP 100, Ground type (super effective on Fire/Dark = 2x), Life Orb = 1.3x
    Damage = (2*Level/5 + 2) * (BP * TypeMod * STAB / 50) * (Atk/Def)

Actually let me just estimate: Garchomp with Atk -3, Life Orb, EQ on a Fire/Dark target at 20% HP.

    Garchomp's Attack stat at level 50 is roughly 182 (base) + IVs + EVs. Let's say around 190-200. With -3 stages: ~95-100.

    Incineroar's Defense: base 99-156, let's say around 120-140. At level 50: roughly 120-140.

    Damage formula: ((2*50/5 + 2) * (100 * 2 * 1.3 / 50) * (Atk/Def))
    = (22 * 5.2 * (100/130))
    = 22 * 5.2 * 0.77
    = 88

Incineroar at 20% HP: if it has ~186 HP, that's about 37 HP remaining.

So EQ would deal about 88 damage, which is way more than 37 HP. Yes, Garchomp can KO Incineroar with Earthquake.

After KOs Incineroar, the opponent will switch to Kingambit (45% HP).

Now, should I switch to Quaquaval or Toxapex?

    Kingambit is Dark/Steel:
    - Quaquaval's Closecombat (Fighting) is super effective on Steel → 2x SE. With Focus Sash, it gets a free hit even if it would KO. But Closecombat lowers Atk by 1 stage.
    - Toxapex: Gunkshot (Poison) is not very effective on Steel (0.5x). Hex (Ghost) is super effective on Dark/Steel (2x SE). Toxic could poison Kingambit.

Actually, let me reconsider. If I switch to Quaquaval:
    - Closecombat is 2x SE on Dark/Steel
    - Focus Sash means it survives one hit even at 1 HP
    - But Closecombat lowers Atk by 1 stage
    - Quaquaval's Attack is 172, with Moxie (increases when boosted)

    If I switch to Toxapex:
    - Hex is 2x SE on Dark/Steel
    - Toxic poisons Kingambit
    - Very defensive, can wall hits
    - But Gunkshot is only 0.5x SE on Steel

Actually, the opponent's remaining Pokémon is Kingambit at 45% HP. Let me think about what's best.

    With Quaquaval:
    - Closecombat (120 BP, Fighting, 2x SE on Dark/Steel) with Focus Sash
    - Attack 172, no boosts yet
    - This should easily KO Kingambit at 45% HP
    - But it lowers Atk by 1 stage

    With Toxapex:
    - Hex (65 BP, Ghost, 2x SE on Dark/Steel) - lower damage but still effective
    - Toxic for chip damage
    - Very tanky, can survive multiple hits
    - SpA 115

I think switching to Quaquaval is the better choice. Closecombat with Focus Sash will KO Kingambit at 45% HP easily (2x SE, BP 120). The Focus Sash ensures it survives even if Kingambit has a strong move. After that, I can use Toxapex to clean up any remaining threats... wait, there are no remaining threats. The opponent only brought 3 Pokémon and all have been seen: Incineroar (fainted), Gholdengo (fainted), Kingambit (45%).

    So the plan is:
    1. KO Incineroar with Earthquake
    2. Switch to Quaquaval next turn
    3. Closecombat KOs Kingambit

Actually, I should just use Earthquake this turn to KO Incineroar. Then next turn switch to Quaquaval and KO Kingambit.

Let me go with MOVE: earthquake.

Kingambit (45.9%, Life Orb, Supreme Overlord +20% from 2 fainted) vs Garchomp (19%, Life Orb, Rough Skin, -2/-3 Atk, only Earthquake revealed). Garchomp outspeeds (109-169 vs 70). Sucker Punch (+1 priority) should KO Garchomp at 19% if it attacks (it will—only EQ revealed), avoiding Earthquake entirely and preserving Kingambit for the next Pokémon. Kowtowcleave risks Kingambit fainting to EQ first.

    Reasoning trace (2,081 words)
Let me analyze the current battle state carefully.

    Current situation:
    - My Incineroar: FAINTED
    - My Gholdengo: FAINTED
    - My Kingambit: active, 95/207 HP (45.9%), Life Orb, Supreme Overlord active (1 fainted ally = 10% boost? Wait, let me check. Supreme Overlord: "This Pokemon's moves have 10% more power for each fainted ally, up to 5 allies." I have 2 fainted allies (Incineroar and Gholdengo), so that's 20% boost.)

Wait, let me recount. Incineroar fainted, Gholdengo fainted. That's 2 fainted allies. So Supreme Overlord gives 20% power boost.

Opponent Garchomp: active, 19.0% HP, Life Orb, Rough Skin, -3 Atk, -1 SpA, only Earthquake revealed. Speed 109-169 (outspeeds my Kingambit at 70).

Kingambit is at 45.9% HP. Garchomp's Earthquake is super effective against Kingambit (Dark/Steel is neutral to Ground actually... wait. Dark/Steel vs Ground: Ground is not very effective against Steel? Let me think. Ground vs Steel: Ground is super effective against Steel? No. Ground is super effective against Fire, Electric, Poison, Rock, Steel. Yes! Ground is super effective against Steel. Kingambit is Dark/Steel, so Ground is super effective (2x).

Wait, but Dark is neutral to Ground, Steel is weak to Ground (2x). So overall 2x.

Garchomp at -3 Atk, Life Orb, 19% HP. Kingambit at 45.9%.

Let me think about damage. Garchomp's Earthquake at -3 Atk vs Kingambit. Even with -3, Earthquake is 100 BP, STAB, Life Orb. Kingambit has decent Defense (140 base stat, but at level 50 with EVs...). The log says Kingambit took 95/207 from an earlier Earthquake when it was at full health? Let me check turn 4: "Your Kingambit is at 95/207 HP" after Earthquake. So it took about 112 damage from Earthquake at full health. That's roughly 54% damage. Now Kingambit is at 45.9%, so another Earthquake would likely KO it (54% > 45.9%).

But Garchomp is at -3 Atk now (was -1 when Kingambit switched in, then Parting Shot dropped it another -1 to -2, then Intimidate dropped it to -3). Wait, let me trace:
    - Turn 2: Parting Shot -> Garchomp atk -1, spa -1
    - Turn 6: Incineroar Intimidate -> Garchomp atk -1 (now -2)
    - Turn 7: Incineroar Intimidate again -> Garchomp atk -1 (now -3)

So Garchomp is at -3 Atk. But it still did significant damage. At -3, Earthquake vs Kingambit... Kingambit took ~54% at -1 Atk (turn 4). At -3, it would be less, but still likely KO or near KO on Kingambit at 45.9%.

Actually wait, turn 4 was before the Intimidates. Let me re-trace:
    - Turn 4: Kingambit came in, Garchomp used Earthquake, Kingambit at 95/207. At this point Garchomp was at -1 Atk (from turn 2 Parting Shot). So at -1 Atk, EQ did ~112 damage (54%).
    - Turn 5: Gholdengo came in, Garchomp used Earthquake, Gholdengo at 77/194. Garchomp still at -1.
    - Turn 6: Gholdengo fainted from EQ. Incineroar came in, Intimidate -> Garchomp at -2.
    - Turn 7: Incineroar Fake Out, Garchomp flinched. Incineroar took Rough Skin, at 29/202.
    - Turn 8: Garchomp Earthquake, Incineroar fainted. Kingambit came in, Supreme Overlord activated.

Wait, when did Garchomp go to -3? Turn 7 says Incineroar's Intimidate activated when it came in (turn 6), making it -2. Then turn 7 Incineroar used Fake Out (not Intimidate again). So Garchomp should be at -2, not -3.

But the notes say "-3 Atk/-1 SpA" and the current state shows Boosts: [ATK: -3, SPA: -1]. Hmm, maybe there was another Intimidate? Let me check turn 7 again: "Your Incineroar's ability: Intimidate" - no, that was turn 6. Turn 7 just says Fake Out.

Actually wait, looking at turn 6: "Your Incineroar came in - Your Incineroar's ability: Intimidate - Opposing Garchomp: atk -1". So that's one Intimidate (from -1 to -2).

Turn 7: Incineroar used Fake Out. No Intimidate message.

But the current state says ATK: -3. Maybe I'm missing something, or maybe the notes are slightly off. Regardless, Garchomp has at least -2 Atk, possibly -3.

Garchomp is at 19% HP. Kingambit is at 45.9%.

    Options:
    1. Kowtowcleave: 85 BP Dark, STAB, doesn't check accuracy, Supreme Overlord boost + Life Orb. Garchomp is Dark/Ground, so Dark is neutral (1x). But Garchomp is at 19%, so even a neutral hit might KO. Let me estimate: Kingambit Atk 205, +2 boost from Supreme Overlord (2 fainted), Life Orb 1.3x. Kowtowcleave 85 BP. vs Garchomp Def ~103-161. At 19% HP, Garchomp has roughly 35-41 HP left. A +2 LO Kowtowcleave should easily do 35+ damage. This should KO.

    2. Sucker Punch: Priority +1, but fails if Garchomp doesn't attack. Garchomp at 19% might just attack with Earthquake (its only revealed move). But it's risky - if Garchomp doesn't attack (e.g., switches or uses a non-attacking move), Sucker Punch fails. But Garchomp only has Earthquake revealed, and it's at 19% - it will likely attack. However, Sucker Punch at 19% Garchomp... should KO if it hits. But if it fails, Kingambit takes an Earthquake and likely faints.

    3. Swords Dance: Set up, but Garchomp moves first and will likely KO Kingambit with Earthquake.

    4. Iron Head: 80 BP Steel, STAB, vs Garchomp (Dragon/Ground) - Steel is neutral vs Dragon, not very effective vs Ground? Wait, Steel vs Ground: Ground is not affected by... no, Steel vs Ground is neutral (1x). Actually, let me check: Steel type vs Ground type - Steel is not very effective against Ground? No. Type chart: Steel is not very effective against Fire, Water, Electric, Steel. Steel is super effective against Rock, Ice, Fairy. Steel vs Ground is neutral (1x). So Iron Head is neutral vs Garchomp. Less power than Kowtowcleave (80 vs 85), and Kowtowcleave doesn't check accuracy. Kowtowcleave is better.

Best option: Kowtowcleave. Garchomp is at 19% HP, and Kowtowcleave with STAB + Supreme Overlord + Life Orb should easily KO it. Even with Garchomp's potential Defense, at 19% it should be within KO range.

After KOing Garchomp, the opponent will send out one of their remaining 2 Pokémon (from corviknight, toxapex, gholdengo, dragapult, quaquaval). Kingambit will be at lower HP due to Life Orb recoil, but should be able to handle the next threat or at least trade.

Actually, wait - should I consider Sucker Punch for priority? Garchomp is faster (109-169 vs 70). If I use Kowtowcleave, Garchomp moves first with Earthquake. Kingambit at 45.9% vs -2/-3 Atk Earthquake... Let me think if Kingambit survives.

At turn 4, Kingambit at full HP took ~54% from Earthquake at -1 Atk. Now at -2 or -3 Atk, the damage would be reduced. At -2, Atk is 0.75x, so damage would be ~54% * 0.75 = ~40.5%. At -3, Atk is 0.6x, so ~32%. Kingambit is at 45.9%, so it might survive at -3 but not at -2. But this is uncertain.

However, Kowtowcleave doesn't have priority, so Garchomp moves first. If Garchomp's Earthquake KOs Kingambit, then I lose Kingambit without getting a hit off.

Sucker Punch has priority +1. If Garchomp attacks (which it likely will with Earthquake), Sucker Punch goes first and KOs Garchomp at 19%. If Garchomp doesn't attack, Sucker Punch fails and I waste a turn.

Given Garchomp is at 19% and only has Earthquake revealed, it will almost certainly attack. Sucker Punch should KO and prevent Garchomp from attacking.

But wait - Kowtowcleave "does not check accuracy" and is more powerful. The question is whether Kingambit survives Garchomp's Earthquake first.

Let me think about this more carefully. Garchomp at 19% with Life Orb - if it uses Earthquake, it takes 10% recoil, bringing it to ~9% or it might faint from recoil if it's at exactly 10% or below. But 19% - 10% = 9%, so it survives recoil.

The key question: Can Kingambit survive an Earthquake from -2/-3 Atk Garchomp?

From the log, at -1 Atk, full HP Kingambit took ~54% damage. At -2 Atk (0.75x), that's ~40%. Kingambit at 45.9% would survive with ~6% left. At -3 Atk (0.6x), that's ~32%, Kingambit survives with ~14% left.

But wait, Garchomp also has Life Orb, which boosts its damage by 1.3x. The 54% already included Life Orb (the log says "[from] item: Life Orb"). So at -2, it's ~40%, at -3 it's ~32%. Kingambit at 45.9% should survive either way.

Actually, I need to be more careful. The damage at turn 4 was when Kingambit just switched in at full HP. It went from 207/207 to 95/207, so it took 112 damage, which is 54.1%. Garchomp was at -1 Atk at that point.

Now Garchomp is at -2 or -3 Atk. The damage multiplier for Atk stages:
    - -2: 0.75x (or 2/4 = 0.5? No, in Gen 9 it's different. Let me recall. In Gen 6+, -2 is 0.75x? No.)

    Actually, in Pokémon, stat stages:
    - -1: 0.667x (2/3)
    - -2: 0.5x (2/4)
    - -3: 0.4x (2/5)

Wait, that's the old formula. In Gen 6+, it's:
    - -1: 0.667x
    - -2: 0.5x
    - -3: 0.4x
    - -4: 0.333x
    - -5: 0.286x
    - -6: 0.25x

    Hmm, actually I think it's:
    Stage / divisor:
    -6: 2/8 = 0.25
    -5: 2/7 = 0.286
    -4: 2/6 = 0.333
    -3: 2/5 = 0.4
    -2: 2/4 = 0.5
    -1: 2/3 = 0.667
    0: 2/2 = 1.0
    +1: 3/2 = 1.5
    +2: 4/2 = 2.0
    +3: 5/2 = 2.5
    +4: 6/2 = 3.0
    +5: 7/2 = 3.5
    +6: 8/2 = 4.0

So at -2, Atk is 0.5x. At -3, Atk is 0.4x.

At -1 Atk (turn 4), EQ did 54% to full HP Kingambit.
    At -2 Atk, EQ would do 54% * (0.5 / 0.667) = 54% * 0.75 = 40.5%.
    At -3 Atk, EQ would do 54% * (0.4 / 0.667) = 54% * 0.6 = 32.4%.

    Kingambit is at 45.9%. So:
    - At -2: takes 40.5%, survives with 5.4%.
    - At -3: takes 32.4%, survives with 13.5%.

Either way, Kingambit survives! Then Kowtowcleave goes second and should KO Garchomp at 19%.

But wait, there's also Rough Skin. If Kingambit uses a contact move (Kowtowcleave is contact? Let me check. Kowtowcleave - I believe it's a contact move. Kingambit would take 1/8 max HP = ~26 HP = ~12.5% damage from Rough Skin. That's significant but Kingambit would survive.

Actually, Kowtowcleave - is it contact? Looking at the move, it's a Dark physical move. In the games, Kowtowcleave is a contact move. So Kingambit takes Rough Skin damage (1/8 of 207 = ~26 HP).

    So if I use Kowtowcleave:
    1. Garchomp moves first with Earthquake: Kingambit takes ~32-40%, down to ~6-14% HP.
    2. Kingambit uses Kowtowcleave: should KO Garchomp at 19%. Kingambit takes Life Orb recoil (~10% of 207 = ~21 HP) and Rough Skin (~26 HP). Kingambit might faint from the combined damage, but Garchomp is KOed.

Actually, if Kingambit is at 6-14% after Earthquake, then takes Life Orb recoil and Rough Skin from Kowtowcleave, it will definitely faint. But that's a fair trade - Kingambit for Garchomp.

    Alternatively, Sucker Punch:
    1. Kingambit uses Sucker Punch (priority +1). If Garchomp attacks, Sucker Punch goes first and KOs Garchomp. Kingambit takes Life Orb recoil but no Earthquake damage. Kingambit survives at ~35% HP.
    2. If Garchomp doesn't attack, Sucker Punch fails, Kingambit takes Earthquake and likely faints.

Given Garchomp is at 19% and has only Earthquake, it will attack. Sucker Punch is the safer play - it guarantees Kingambit survives if Garchomp attacks.

But Kowtowcleave is more reliable damage-wise (doesn't check accuracy, higher power). And based on my calculation, Kingambit should survive the Earthquake even at -2 Atk.

Hmm, but there's uncertainty in my damage calculation. The 54% at -1 Atk is from the log, but there could be variance. Also, I don't know Garchomp's exact Atk stat or EVs.

Let me think about what's more important: preserving Kingambit or guaranteeing the KO.

Sucker Punch at 70 BP vs Kowtowcleave at 85 BP. With STAB, Supreme Overlord (20%), Life Orb (30%):
    - Sucker Punch: 70 * 1.5 * 1.2 * 1.3 = 163.8 effective BP
    - Kowtowcleave: 85 * 1.5 * 1.2 * 1.3 = 198.9 effective BP

Garchomp at 19% HP. Garchomp's max HP is 183-215. At 19%, that's roughly 35-41 HP. Both moves should easily KO.

The question is really about whether Kingambit survives Garchomp's Earthquake. With Sucker Punch, Kingambit doesn't take Earthquake (if Garchomp attacks). With Kowtowcleave, Kingambit takes Earthquake first.

I think Sucker Punch is the safer play. It guarantees Kingambit survives (assuming Garchomp attacks, which it will at 19% with only Earthquake). Then Kingambit can face the next Pokémon.

    But wait -
    Bonsai 2 27B switched to Quaquaval7,120 tok · 86.1 s

Kingambit (45%) is opponent's LAST Pokémon (they brought only 3, Incineroar & Gholdengo fainted). Switching to Quaquaval guarantees a clean KO next turn via Closecombat (2x SE on Dark/Steel, Focus Sash for safety). Avoids risk of priority move hitting my fragile Garchomp at 19% HP. Battle ends after Kingambit falls.

    Reasoning trace (1,955 words)
Let me analyze the current situation:

    - My Garchomp is at 35/183 HP (19.1%), with Atk -3, SpA -1, and a Life Orb.
    - Opponent's Kingambit is active at 45% HP, with Supreme Overlord activated (2 fainted allies = +20% power to moves).
    - I have Quaquaval (100% HP, Focus Sash) and Toxapex (100% HP, Black Belt) in my bench.

    Key considerations:
    - Garchomp is at 19% HP with Life Orb. Each Earthquake costs 1/10 max HP = ~18 HP. So after one more EQ, Garchomp would be at ~35 - 18 = 17 HP (before taking damage). Actually wait, the Life Orb damage is 1/10 of max HP = 18.3 HP. So 35 - 18 = 17 HP after the attack.
    - Kingambit is at 45% HP. Earthquake is super effective on Dark/Steel (2x). Let me calculate: Garchomp's Attack with -3 stages... Atk base stat is 182, but with -3 stages that's roughly 182 * (0.75^3) ≈ 182 * 0.42 ≈ 76. Wait, actually in Pokémon, stage modifiers work differently. Let me think about this more carefully.

Actually, the stat shown is "Atk 182" which is already the calculated stat at level 50. With -3 stages, the multiplier would be (2/(2+3)) = 2/5 = 0.4. So effective Attack ≈ 182 * 0.4 = 72.8.

Earthquake BP 100, super effective (2x), Life Orb (1.3x):
    Damage = (2*72.8*100/50) * 2 * 1.3 / 50...

    Actually let me use the standard formula: Damage = ((2*Level/5 + 2) * BP * Atk * SE / Def) / 50

    With Level 50: (2*50/5 + 2) = 22
    SE = 2 (super effective)
    Atk ≈ 73 (with -3 stages)
Def of Kingambit: range 126-189, let's say around 150

    Damage = (22 * 100 * 73 * 2 / 150) / 50 * 1.3 (Life Orb)
    = (22 * 100 * 73 * 2) / (150 * 50) * 1.3
    = (32,120,000) / (7,500) * 1.3
    = 4,280 * 1.3 = 5,564

Hmm, that doesn't seem right. Let me recalculate.

    Actually the formula is: Damage = ((2*Level/5 + 2) * BP * Atk * SE / Def) / 50

    = (22 * 100 * 73 * 2 / 150) / 50
    = (22 * 100 * 73 * 2) / (150 * 50)
    = 3,212,000 / 7,500
    = 428

Wait, that's in the "damage points" before the Life Orb multiplier. With Life Orb: 428 * 1.3 = 556.

Kingambit at 45% HP with max HP range 175-207. Let's say ~190 max HP, so current HP ≈ 85.

So Earthquake would deal about 556 damage to a Pokémon with 85 HP? That would definitely KO it. Even if Kingambit has higher Def (up to 189), the damage would be:
    = (22 * 100 * 73 * 2 / 189) / 50 * 1.3
    = (3,212,000) / (9,450) * 1.3
    = 340 * 1.3 = 442

Still way more than 85 HP. So Earthquake will definitely KO Kingambit.

But wait - Garchomp is at 35 HP with Life Orb. After using Earthquake, it loses 1/10 max HP = ~18 HP. So Garchomp would be at ~17 HP. That's very low but it survives the turn (Kingambit is KO'd).

Actually, let me reconsider. The opponent has Kingambit active. If I switch to Quaquaval:
    - Quaquaval with Focus Sash and Closecombat (Fighting, 2x SE on Steel) would deal massive damage.
    - But Kingambit might have moves that hit hard.

    If I use Earthquake:
    - It KOs Kingambit for sure
    - Garchomp drops to ~17 HP
    - Then opponent switches to their last Pokémon (Dragapult, Torkoal, or Azumarill)
    - Garchomp at 17 HP is basically a dead threat

    If I switch to Quaquaval:
    - Quaquaval at 100% HP with Focus Sash
    - Closecombat is 2x SE on Dark/Steel Kingambit
    - With Focus Sash, even if it gets KO'd, it gets one free hit
    - But Kingambit might have a move that KOs Quaquaval before it can act... wait, Garchomp outspeeds Kingambit (169 vs 63-112), so I go first. But Quaquaval is at Spe 150, and Kingambit is 63-112. So Quaquaval also outspeeds Kingambit.

Actually wait - if I switch to Quaquaval, it will be my active Pokémon next turn. Quaquaval (Spe 150) vs Kingambit (Spe 63-112). Quaquaval moves first. Closecombat is Fighting type, super effective on Dark/Steel (2x). With Focus Sash, Quaquaval survives one hit.

    Let me calculate Closecombat damage:
    Atk of Quaquaval = 172
    BP = 120, SE = 2
    Def of Kingambit ≈ 150 (range 126-189)

    Damage = (22 * 120 * 172 * 2 / 150) / 50
    = (22 * 120 * 172 * 2) / (150 * 50)
    = 9,062,400 / 7,500
    = 1,208

Kingambit at ~85 HP. That's a massive KO. Even with Def 189:
    = (22 * 120 * 172 * 2) / (189 * 50)
    = 9,062,400 / 9,450
    = 959

Still way more than 85 HP. So Closecombat KOs Kingambit easily.

But wait - what about the opponent's remaining Pokémon? They've used Incineroar, Gholdengo, and Kingambit. Their team is 3 of 6 from preview. The other 3 could be Dragapult, Torkoal, or Azumarill. After Kingambit falls, they'll switch to one of those.

    If I use Earthquake now:
    - KOs Kingambit
    - Garchomp at ~17 HP (basically useless)
    - Opponent switches to their last Pokémon
    - Garchomp is basically a dead threat, opponent can do whatever they want

If I switch to Quaquaval now:
    - Quaquaval at 100% HP with Focus Sash
    - Next turn, Closecombat KOs Kingambit (2x SE)
    - Opponent switches to their last Pokémon
    - Quaquaval is still at 100% HP (or if it took a hit, Focus Sash keeps it alive)

Actually wait - when I switch, the opponent gets to act on their side. Let me re-read the battle format. In Showdown, when you switch, your new Pokémon comes in and then the opponent acts. So:

    Turn 9:
    - I switch Garchomp → Quaquaval
    - Opponent's Kingambit is still active
    - Turn 10: Quaquaval acts first (Spe 150 vs Kingambit Spe 63-112), uses Closecombat, KOs Kingambit
    - Opponent switches to their last Pokémon

This seems better than using Earthquake because:
    1. I keep a healthy Pokémon (Quaquaval at 100%) instead of Garchomp at ~17%
    2. Quaquaval with Focus Sash is very safe
    3. Closecombat KOs Kingambit easily

But wait, what if the opponent's last Pokémon is something that threatens Quaquaval? Let me think:
    - Dragapult (Dragon/Ghost): Could use Dragon Darts or Shadow Ball. Quaquaval resists Ghost but not Dragon. However, Quaquaval has Focus Sash so it survives one hit.
    - Torkoal (Fire): Fire is neutral to Water/Fighting. Could be a threat but Quaquaval's HP is 160.
    - Azumarill (Water/Fairy): Fairy resists Fighting! Closecombat would not work well against Azumarill.

Hmm, if the opponent switches to Azumarill after Kingambit falls, Quaquaval's Closecombat would be resisted (Fairy resists Fighting). But I could use Liquidation (Water) which is neutral on Water/Fairy... wait, Water is not very effective on Water. So Liquidation would be 0.5x.

Actually, let me reconsider. The opponent has 3 Pokémon total in this battle (they brought 3 of their 6). They've used Incineroar, Gholdengo, and Kingambit. All three have fainted or are active. Wait - Incineroar fainted, Gholdengo fainted, Kingambit is active at 45%. So the opponent has only 1 Pokémon left (Kingambit). After Kingambit falls, the opponent loses the battle!

Wait, let me re-read: "The opponent brought 3 of the 6 it showed at team preview: all have been seen." And the three seen are Incineroar (fainted), Gholdengo (fainted), and Kingambit (active). So yes, the opponent only has 3 Pokémon in this battle, and 2 have fainted. Kingambit is their last one!

So if I KO Kingambit, I win the battle! No need to worry about what comes next.

    Given that:
    - Earthquake KOs Kingambit (definitely) but leaves Garchomp at ~17 HP
    - Switching to Quaquaval and using Closecombat also KOs Kingambit

Both work. But switching to Quaquaval is safer because:
    1. I don't risk Garchomp being KO'd by a last-ditch move (though Kingambit is at 45% and I'm going first, so it should be fine)
    2. Actually wait - if I use Earthquake, I go first (Garchomp Spe 169 > Kingambit Spe 63-112), so Kingambit gets KO'd before it can act. Garchomp at 17 HP is fine because the battle ends.

Actually both options work perfectly since Kingambit is the last Pokémon. Let me just go with Earthquake to end the battle this turn rather than next turn.

Wait, but there's a risk: what if Kingambit has a priority move? Like... hmm, I don't know its moves yet. "Revealed Moves: None yet." So it could have anything. But even with a priority move, Kingambit at 45% HP vs Garchomp at 35/183 (19%)...

Actually no - if Kingambit has a priority move and uses it, it would hit Garchomp first. But Kingambit is at 45% HP. What could it do to KO Garchomp at 19%?

If Kingambit uses something like Iron Head (Steel, neutral on Dragon/Ground... wait, Ground resists Steel! So Iron Head would be 0.5x). Or maybe a Dark move - but Ground is immune to... no wait, Ground is not immune to Dark. Dark is neutral on Ground.

Hmm, actually Kingambit's moves are unknown. It could have:
    - A priority move that hits hard enough to KO Garchomp at 19% HP (35/183)
    - But even so, my Earthquake would still hit first if I go first... wait no, priority moves ignore speed.

If Kingambit has a priority move (like Quick Attack or something), it could hit Garchomp before my Earthquake. At 45% HP with Supreme Overlord (+20% power for 2 fainted allies), Kingambit's attack is boosted.

But realistically, what priority moves would a Dark/Steel Pokémon have? Maybe... I'm not sure. Let me think about this differently.

Actually, the safest play is to switch to Quaquaval. Then:
    - Turn 10: Quaquaval (Spe 150) goes first against Kingambit (Spe 63-112)
    - Closecombat KOs Kingambit
    - Battle ends

This avoids any risk of a priority move KOing my Garchomp this turn. And it guarantees the win next turn.

Alternatively, I could just use Earthquake and hope there's no priority move. But switching is safer.

Actually, let me reconsider once more. The opponent has only 3 Pokémon in this battle (they brought 3 of 6). Two are fainted. Kingambit is active. If I switch to Quaquaval:
    - Turn 10: Quaquaval vs Kingambit. Quaquaval goes first (Spe 150 > 63-112). Closecombat KOs Kingambit. Battle over.

    If I use Earthquake:
    - This turn: Garchomp goes first (Spe 169 > 63-112), uses EQ, KOs Kingambit. Battle over. UNLESS Kingambit has a priority move.

The risk with Earthquake is minimal but non-zero. The switch to Quaquaval eliminates that risk entirely and still wins next turn. I'll go with the switch.

Wait, actually one more thought: what if I use Dragontail? It's priority -6, so it would force Kingambit to switch... but Kingambit is their last Pokémon! If forced to switch, they'd have no Pokémon left and lose. But wait, can you be forced to switch when you have no other Pokémon? In Showdown, if a Pokémon is the last one and gets forced to switch, I believe the battle ends (you lose). Actually, I'm not 100% sure about this mechanic. Let me not take that risk.

I'll go with switching to Quaquaval. It's the safest option that guarantees victory next turn.

Actually, you know what, let me just use Earthquake. The probability of Kingambit having a priority move that KOs Garchomp at 19% HP is very low. And even if it does, I still have Quaquaval and Toxapex to fight with. But the switch is cleaner...

I'll go with SWITCH: quaquaval. It's the safest path to victory.

  11. Turn 10
    Nemotron 3.5 Super VL used Suckerpunch7,749 tok · 13.8 s

Kingambit (45.9%, Life Orb, Supreme Overlord +20%) vs Quaquaval (100%, faster). Garchomp (19%, Life Orb) still alive in back. Incineroar and Gholdengo fainted—if Kingambit falls, I lose. Sucker Punch has +1 priority to hit first if Quaquaval attacks (likely at full HP). All attacks are not very effective on Quaquaval and won't KO, but Sucker Punch at least guarantees damage before taking a hit. Quaquaval's Sucker Punch fail on Turn 9 suggests it may use non-attacking moves, but at 100% vs weakened Kingambit it will likely attack now.

    Reasoning trace (2,532 words)
Let me analyze the current situation carefully.

    Current state:
    - My Kingambit is active at 95/207 HP (45.9%), Life Orb, Supreme Overlord active (+20% from 2 fainted allies)
    - Opponent's Quaquaval is active at 100% HP, Water/Fighting, unknown item/ability
    - Opponent's Garchomp is at 19% HP, Life Orb, Rough Skin, only Earthquake revealed
    - Opponent brought 3 of 6: Garchomp, Quaquaval, and 1 more from: Corviknight, Toxapex, Gholdengo, Dragapult

Speed: Kingambit 70 vs Quaquaval 94-150, so Quaquaval moves first unless priority move.

    Legal actions:
    1. Kowtowcleave - Dark, Physical, 85 BP, not very effective on Quaquaval (Water/Fighting resists Dark? Let me check: Water is neutral to Dark, Fighting is neutral to Dark. So Dark is neutral, not not very effective. Wait, the action says "not very effective on quaquaval". Let me check type chart: Dark vs Water = neutral (1x), Dark vs Fighting = neutral (1x). So Dark should be neutral (1x) on Quaquaval. But the action description says "not very effective". Hmm, maybe I should trust the game's description. Actually wait - maybe Quaquaval has some typing that resists Dark? Water/Fighting - both neutral to Dark. So it should be 1x. But the log says "not very effective on quaquaval". I'll trust the provided info.

Actually, looking more carefully, maybe the system is telling me it's not very effective. Let me just go with what's given.

    2. Sucker Punch - Dark, Physical, 70 BP, priority +1, fails if target is not attacking, not very effective on Quaquaval
    3. Swords Dance - raises Attack by 2
    4. Iron Head - Steel, Physical, 80 BP, not very effective on Quaquaval (Steel vs Water = neutral, Steel vs Fighting = not very effective 0.5x, so overall 0.5x)

    Key considerations:
    - Quaquaval is faster than Kingambit (94-150 vs 70)
    - Sucker Punch has priority +1 but fails if Quaquaval doesn't attack
    - Quaquaval at 100% HP - Sucker Punch won't KO
    - Garchomp is at 19% and still alive - it could come back in

Wait, Quaquaval is the active Pokémon now. Garchomp is at 19% but not active. The opponent switched Quaquaval in on Turn 9.

My Kingambit is at 45.9% HP. Quaquaval is faster and at full health.

If I use Sucker Punch: It has priority +1, so it goes first. But it fails if Quaquaval uses a non-attacking move. Quaquaval at 100% will likely attack. Sucker Punch is not very effective (per the description), so it won't KO a full HP Quaquaval. Then Quaquaval will hit back.

If I use Kowtowcleave: Goes after Quaquaval (since Quaquaval is faster). Quaquaval will attack first, possibly KOing or heavily damaging Kingambit. Then Kowtowcleave might not KO Quaquaval either (not very effective, full HP).

If I use Swords Dance: Quaquaval attacks first (faster), likely does significant damage. Then I'm at +2 Attack but possibly low HP.

If I use Iron Head: Similar to Kowtowcleave but Steel type, not very effective.

Actually, let me think about this differently. Garchomp is at 19% and still on the opponent's team. The opponent switched to Quaquaval.

Wait, I need to reconsider. On Turn 9, Kingambit used Sucker Punch and it failed. Why did it fail? The log says "Your Kingambit used Sucker Punch - Your Kingambit's move failed". This means Quaquaval did NOT attack on Turn 9. But Quaquaval just came in... Actually, looking at Turn 9: "Opposing Quaquaval came in" then "Your Kingambit used Sucker Punch - Your Kingambit's move failed".

Hmm, when a Pokémon switches in, does it get to use a move that turn? In Pokémon Showdown, when a Pokémon switches in, it can use a move that turn. But Sucker Punch failed, meaning Quaquaval used a non-attacking move or... wait, actually if Quaquaval just switched in, it would choose a move for that turn. Sucker Punch fails if the target doesn't select an attacking move.

But now it's Turn 10, and Quaquaval is active. Quaquaval will likely attack this turn since it's at full HP and Kingambit is weakened.

Actually, I should think about what makes sense strategically. Kingambit is at 45.9%, Quaquaval is at 100% and faster.

Sucker Punch has priority +1, so it goes before Quaquaval's move. If Quaquaval attacks (which it likely will at full HP), Sucker Punch will hit. But it's not very effective and won't KO. Then Quaquaval hits back.

Actually wait - if Sucker Punch goes first due to priority, and it hits, then Quaquaval still gets to move (unless it faints, which it won't). So Sucker Punch doesn't prevent damage unless it KOs.

Let me think about whether I should switch... but there's no switch option in legal actions. Only moves.

Actually, looking at the legal actions again - there's no SWITCH option listed. Only 4 moves. So I must choose one of these moves.

    Given that:
    - Quaquaval is faster and at full HP
    - Kingambit is at 45.9%
    - All attacking moves are "not very effective" on Quaquaval
    - Sucker Punch has priority but fails if Quaquaval doesn't attack

Swords Dance seems like a bad idea because Quaquaval attacks first and might KO Kingambit before I can use the boost.

Kowtowcleave or Iron Head - Quaquaval attacks first, likely does significant damage, then my move might not KO.

Sucker Punch - I go first due to priority, hit Quaquaval (if it attacks), then Quaquaval hits back.

Actually, I think Sucker Punch is the best option because:
    1. Priority means I hit first
    2. Quaquaval at full HP will almost certainly attack
    3. Even if it doesn't KO, I at least deal damage before taking damage
    4. If Quaquaval uses a setup move, Sucker Punch fails, but that's unlikely at full HP against a weakened Kingambit

Wait, but there's also Garchomp at 19% waiting in the wings. If I damage Quaquaval but don't KO, Quaquaval will hit Kingambit hard. Then Garchomp could come in and finish Kingambit with Earthquake.

Hmm, but I can't switch. Let me just pick the best move.

Actually, let me reconsider Sucker Punch. The description says it "Usually goes first" and "Fails if target is not attacking." Since Quaquaval is faster normally, but Sucker Punch has +1 priority, Sucker Punch goes first unless Quaquaval also uses a priority move.

I think Sucker Punch is the best choice. Quaquaval at 100% against a weakened Kingambit will almost certainly attack. Sucker Punch will hit first, deal some damage, then Quaquaval will retaliate.

Actually, wait. Let me reconsider whether Kowtowcleave might be better. Kowtowcleave has 85 BP vs Sucker Punch's 70 BP. But Kowtowcleave goes after Quaquaval (no priority), so Quaquaval hits first. With Kingambit at 45.9%, Quaquaval might KO Kingambit before Kowtowcleave can be used.

Sucker Punch at least guarantees I get a hit in (if Quaquaval attacks).

Let me go with Sucker Punch.

Actually, one more thought: The notes mention that Sucker Punch failed on Turn 9. Why? Quaquaval just switched in. Maybe Quaquaval used a non-attacking move like Swords Dance or setup? Or maybe the switch-in counts differently?

In Pokémon Showdown, when a Pokémon switches in, it does get to make a move that turn. Sucker Punch fails if the opponent's move is not an attacking move. Quaquaval might have used a setup move or status move on switch-in.

But on Turn 10, Quaquaval is already in and will likely attack now.

    I'll go with Sucker Punch.

Wait, actually I want to reconsider. Let me think about what Quaquaval might do. Quaquaval is Water/Fighting. Common moves include Liquidation, Close Combat, Aqua Step, Swords Dance, etc. At full HP against a weakened Kingambit, it will almost certainly attack.

    Sucker Punch it is.

Actually, hold on. Let me re-read the turn 9 log more carefully:

    "Turn 9:
    - Opposing Quaquaval came in
    - Your Kingambit used Sucker Punch
    - Your Kingambit's move failed"

So Quaquaval came in, and Kingambit used Sucker Punch, but it failed. This means Quaquaval did not use an attacking move on Turn 9. Quaquaval might have used a setup move, or maybe there's something else going on.

But now on Turn 10, Quaquaval is still active. If Quaquaval used a setup move last turn, it might attack this turn. Or it might continue setting up.

Given the uncertainty, Sucker Punch is risky because it might fail again. But Kowtowcleave means Quaquaval moves first (faster) and could KO Kingambit.

Hmm, this is tricky. Let me think about the damage calculations roughly.

Kingambit at 45.9% HP. Quaquaval at 100%. Quaquaval is faster.

If Quaquaval uses a strong Water or Fighting move against Kingambit (Dark/Steel):
    - Water vs Dark/Steel: Water is neutral to Dark, not very effective vs Steel (0.5x). So 0.5x.
    - Fighting vs Dark/Steel: Fighting is super effective vs Dark (2x), not very effective vs Steel (0.5x). So 1x.

So Fighting moves are neutral, Water moves are resisted. Quaquaval's Attack is 126-189. Kingambit's Defense is 140.

A neutral Fighting move from Quaquaval could do significant damage to Kingambit at 45.9%.

If I use Kowtowcleave or Iron Head, Quaquaval moves first and might KO me. Then my move doesn't happen.

If I use Sucker Punch, I move first (priority +1). If Quaquaval attacks, I hit, then Quaquaval hits back. If Quaquaval doesn't attack, Sucker Punch fails and Quaquaval hits me anyway.

So Sucker Punch is strictly better than Kowtowcleave/Iron Head IF Quaquaval attacks (which is likely). If Quaquaval doesn't attack, Sucker Punch fails but I'm no worse off than if I had used Kowtowcleave (since Quaquaval would have hit me first anyway).

Wait, that's not quite right. If I use Kowtowcleave and Quaquaval uses a non-attacking move, Quaquaval doesn't hit me, and I hit Quaquaval. That's better than Sucker Punch failing.

But if Quaquaval attacks, Sucker Punch lets me hit first, while Kowtowcleave means Quaquaval hits me first (and might KO me before I can attack).

Given that Quaquaval is at 100% and Kingambit is weakened, Quaquaval will almost certainly attack. So Sucker Punch is the better choice.

    I'll go with Sucker Punch.

Actually, let me reconsider one more time. The notes say Sucker Punch failed on Turn 9. If Quaquaval used a non-attacking move on Turn 9 (like Swords Dance or Aqua Step setup), it might continue setting up or it might attack now.

But I think the probability of Quaquaval attacking on Turn 10 is high. Sucker Punch is the best option.

Let me also consider: should I try to KO Garchomp somehow? No, Garchomp isn't active. Quaquaval is active.

    Final decision: Sucker Punch.

Wait, I want to double check - is there any reason to use Swords Dance? If Quaquaval doesn't attack (uses setup), then Swords Dance would let me set up too. But Quaquaval is faster, so if it attacks, I take damage before setting up. And Kingambit is already at 45.9%. Swords Dance seems too risky.

Iron Head vs Kowtowcleave: Both go after Quaquaval. Kowtowcleave has higher BP (85 vs 80) but Dark is resisted by... wait, the description says both are "not very effective on quaquaval". Let me check: Dark vs Water/Fighting = neutral (1x). Steel vs Water/Fighting = 0.5x (Fighting resists Steel). So Iron Head is actually not very effective (0.5x), while Kowtowcleave should be neutral (1x). But the description says Kowtowcleave is "not very effective on quaquaval" too. That's strange, but I'll trust the game.

Actually, maybe I'm wrong about the type chart. Let me think again:
    - Dark vs Water: neutral
    - Dark vs Fighting: neutral
    - So Dark vs Water/Fighting: 1x1 = 1x (neutral)

But the game says "not very effective". Maybe there's something I'm missing, or maybe the game description is just wrong/generic. Either way, both moves are described as not very effective.

Kowtowcleave has higher BP (85 vs 80) and doesn't have a flinch chance but Iron Head has 20% flinch. Kowtowcleave also "does not check accuracy" but both have 100% accuracy anyway.

I'll stick with Sucker Punch due to priority.

One final check: Sucker Punch is Dark type, described as "not very effective on quaquaval". With 70 BP, not very effective, Life Orb, Supreme Overlord (+20%), against a full HP Quaquaval... this won't KO. But at least I hit first.

    OK, decision: Sucker Punch.

Actually, wait. I just realized something. Let me re-read the speed info:

"Speed: your kingambit 70 vs opposing quaquaval 94-150 (possible range): it moves first, unless a move has priority."

So Quaquaval moves first unless I use a priority move. Sucker Punch has +1 priority. Does Quaquaval have any priority moves? Aqua Jet is a common priority move for Water types, but Quaquaval doesn't typically learn Aqua Jet. Quaquaval's signature move is Aqua Step, which isn't priority.

So Sucker Punch (+1) should go before Quaquaval's move (0 priority), unless Quaquaval also uses a priority move.

OK, I'm confident in Sucker Punch.

Hmm, but actually, let me reconsider whether Sucker Punch will fail again like it did on Turn 9. On Turn 9, Quaquaval just switched in. Maybe the issue was that Quaquaval used a move like Swords Dance or some setup on switch-in.

But on Turn 10, Quaquaval has already had a turn to set up. It will likely attack now.

Also, I should consider: if Sucker Punch fails again (because Quaquaval uses a non-attacking move), then I waste my turn and Quaquaval hits me. But if Quaquaval is setting up, that's bad for me anyway.

I think the expected value of Sucker Punch is positive. Let's go with it.

Actually, one more consideration: Kingambit has 7/8 PP for Sucker Punch left. Not an issue for this turn.

    Final answer: Sucker Punch.

Wait, I want to think about this more carefully. Let me consider the possibility that Quaquaval has a priority move. Quaquaval can learn Aqua Step (its signature move), which is not priority. It can also learn moves like Liquidation, Close Combat, etc. I don't think Quaquaval gets Aqua Jet. So Sucker Punch should go first.

But what if Quaquaval uses a move like Protect? Then Sucker Punch fails. But at 100% HP against a weakened Kingambit, Protect is unlikely.

OK, I'm going with Sucker Punch.

Actually, let me reconsider one more time. Looking at the battle state:

    - Kingambit: 45.9% HP
    - Quaquaval: 100% HP, faster
    - Garchomp: 19% HP, still alive, faster than Kingambit

If I use Sucker Punch and it hits, I damage Quaquaval but don't KO. Quaquaval then hits Kingambit. Kingambit might faint. Then Garchomp comes in and can potentially clean up with Earthquake (though it's at 19% and has Life Orb recoil).

If I use Kowtowcleave, Quaquaval hits first (faster), likely KOing or heavily damaging Kingambit. Then my move might not happen if I faint.

Either way, Kingambit is likely to faint this turn. Sucker Punch at least lets me deal some damage before going down.

Actually, wait. If Kingambit faints, I'll need to send in... but Incineroar and Gholdengo are both fainted. So if Kingambit faints, I lose the battle (I have no more Pokémon).

Wait, let me check: "each player brought 3 of their 6 Pokémon". I brought Incineroar, Gholdengo, Kingambit. Incineroar and Gholdengo are fainted. If Kingambit faints, I have no Pokémon left and lose.

So I need to be very careful. Kingambit at 45.9% vs Quaquaval at
    Bonsai 2 27B used Closecombat4,254 tok · 20.2 s

Quaquaval (full HP, Focus Sash) vs Kingambit (45%, last Pokémon). Closecombat is 4x SE on Dark/Steel — guaranteed KO even at max Defense. Moxie triggers but irrelevant since battle ends. No need to save anything; this is the final hit.

    Reasoning trace (350 words)
    Let me analyze the situation:

    - Quaquaval is active at 160/160 HP with Focus Sash and Moxie
    - Kingambit (Dark/Steel) is at 45% HP, last Pokémon of opponent
    - Closecombat is 4x super effective on Dark/Steel (Fighting vs Dark = 2x, Fighting vs Steel = 2x, so 4x total)

Wait, let me re-check. Fighting is super effective against Dark (2x) and Steel (2x). So Fighting vs Dark/Steel would be 4x? No wait - in Pokémon, you multiply the type effectiveness. Fighting is 2x vs Dark and 2x vs Steel. For a dual-type, you multiply: 2x * 2x = 4x. Yes, that's correct.

So Closecombat (120 BP) at 4x super effective on Kingambit at 45% HP. Let me estimate the damage:

    Quaquaval Attack: 172
Kingambit Defense: 126-189 (let's say around 150 average, but could be higher)

    Damage formula: ((2*level/5 + 2) * BP * Atk / Def) / 50 + 2
    = ((2*50/5 + 2) * 120 * 172 / Def) / 50 + 2
    = ((20 + 2) * 120 * 172 / Def) / 50 + 2
    = (22 * 20640 / Def) / 50 + 2
    = (454080 / Def) / 50 + 2

    At 4x: multiply by 4 = 1816320 / Def / 50 + 2

    If Def is 126: 1816320/126/50 + 2 = 14415.2/50 + 2 = 288.3 + 2 = 290 HP damage
    If Def is 189: 1816320/189/50 + 2 = 9610.2/50 + 2 = 192.2 + 2 = 194 HP damage

    Kingambit at 45% of max HP (175-207). Let's say 45% of 190 = ~85 HP. Even at the lowest end, 45% of 175 = ~79 HP.

So Closecombat will absolutely KO Kingambit even with the worst-case Defense. The damage is way more than enough.

With Focus Sash, Quaquaval survives any hit that would KO it. And Moxie means if this KOs Kingambit, Attack goes up by 1 stage (though it doesn't matter since the battle ends).

The opponent's only remaining Pokémon is Kingambit at 45%. Closecombat will KO it easily. This wins the game.

I should use Closecombat to finish the battle.
