Plan: lead Dragapult (fast, Life Orb), with Garchomp (Mega) and Kingambit in back. Opponent has a mirror of my team and is a scripted bot.

Lead Dragapult (Life Orb). Opponent Garchomp is possibly Mega. Dracometeor is super effective but drops my SpA by 2. Keep Garchomp (Mega) and Kingambit in back.

Dragapult has -2 SpA after Draco Meteor, and their Kingambit has Supreme Overlord at +10%. Switching to Garchomp so it can Mega Evolve next turn and Earthquake Kingambit (super effective). Keep my own Kingambit as the last back-up. Their last Pokémon is still unknown, one of incineroar, gholdengo, dragapult or corviknight.

    Reasoning trace (145 words)
Kingambit's Supreme Overlord boost has worn down one faint, giving it a small power buff. My Dragapult is at -2 SpA, so Flamethrower's super-effective hit against Steel-type Kingambit won't do as much damage as I'd like given the dropped stat and Kingambit's solid bulk.

Meanwhile Sucker Punch is a real threat since Dark hits Ghost-types for 2x, and with STAB plus likely a damage-boosting item, it could outright KO Dragapult. I'm weighing whether to just attack and risk losing Dragapult anyway, or switch into something like Mega Garchomp, whose Ground typing is neutral to Dark and whose Earthquake would hit Kingambit's Steel typing hard.

Dragapult is already weak, so sticking with it to attack risks losing it to sucker punch anyway. Switching to Garchomp seems safer since Rough Skin chips them back and a Kowtow hit would be mostly neutral damage I can absorb.

Turn 3: Garchomp Mega Evolves and uses Earthquake on their Kingambit (SE). Their Kingambit has Supreme Overlord +10% and Sucker Punch. Keep Dragapult (-2 SpA) and my Kingambit in back. Their last Pokémon is unknown: incineroar, gholdengo, dragapult or corviknight.

    PokéChamp switched to Incineroar

Incineroar is their last Pokémon. My Mega Garchomp is at -1 Atk but outspeeds it, and Earthquake is super effective. Keep attacking with Earthquake. Fake Out priority is possible. Dragapult (-2 SpA) and Kingambit are my backups.

    Reasoning trace (47 words)
With Incineroar as the opponent's last Pokémon, my Mega Garchomp at -1 Attack is still faster and can hit it hard with Earthquake for solid super-effective damage, likely in the 50-60% range. I need to watch out for Incineroar's Knock Off and Flare Blitz in return.

    Claude Sonnet 5.5 used Earthquake4,011 tok · 1.6 s · $0.0050

Incineroar is their last Pokémon at 49%. Mega Garchomp (-1 Atk) outspeeds it, and Earthquake is super effective and should KO. Dragapult (-2 SpA) and Kingambit are backups.
